ID.Software 3.2 - New Things (Coming from 2.4)

- A "quick" swipings trough the options of the infotainment looking for new stuff which got added to 3.2. Some options where already there with 3.0, but hey I never had it so.. wouldn'n know. So starting with a clean sheet and checking and trying the new software fresh on my car.

Abit longer then i hoped it would be. If i forgot something tell me!
When coming from 2.4 it fixes all connectivity issues (car stuck in offline mode) and charging locations can be saved permanently again 😊

despite my local dealer being awful at communication and workload management (instead 1 day it took 7), the 3.2 SW is good, and i like having Aircon buttons all time present on the home screen. Definitely it is move forward. Finally!
Hello and thank you for the review! I have already 3.2 on my ID.3. Just wait 1-2 days and the shop will sync and appear. It was this way on my car after the update.
Day 7 and its the same. Need to aak support is the current way

How do you turn air on on and interior monitoring off if you miss the split second chance when turning car off? When leave nag let dog n for example.

Thanks for the 3.2 Update Videos. 🙂I just got my ID.4 1st Max updated to 3.2 today and it went absolute smoothly and everything works perfect after update. But I don't have the ID Software button in the menu yet. Did yours come right away, or did it come with an update shortly after? I guess I can't see the ID Software button in your first 3.2 video either... By the way, how do you know that Internet Radio is free now?
Id software tile comes soon after a small update. Update comes, even if you are not logged in.
Free internetradio was announced with 3.0. People just didnt know or forgot because it was too long ago. Am just reminding them :)
Can you interact more with the infortainment system by controls on the steering wheel or by speech?
Didnt saw it yet.. even that simple ‘OK’ at startup aint pressable with steering ok yet, need to touch

hi! i have an issue with my phone (samsung s22 ultra) and the id.4 pro performance on software 2.3. it keeps disconnecting a lot of times during a trip, even when i am in a call. is this solved in the 3.2 update? thank you in advance!
You can disable ‘search for wifi’ under system settings > WiFi > wifi
But maybe your phone is switching between 2.4 and 5ghz
Does this update supposed to fix the software issues people complain about? I’m thinking to get a 2022 ID.6 but I’m hesitant because of people complaining about screens going black. Is that true?
This is an EU update, chinese cars get them differently and its running a different versioning. Hard to say. But get the latest of the latest and should be fixed even in china

Since 2.3 (0910) the option is there to change the home button under settings. Chinese cars doesnt have this
So , can you set travel assist to 10kph more than the indicated speed limit? I find when I am driving here in Spain that all drivers... including the nanies... are driving 20kph or more than the speed limit!
My ideal would be to have this facility and limit my speed on the motorway so that I don't have to keep on adjusting the speed and set buttons on the travel assist
No, it uses the database/camera input. Anything thats enviroment depended (nanny that goes faster) isnt considered. Just manually change the limit… atleast wont jumping from speedlimits which it saw 30m to the right
How do you put your name in there? , now I am driving as a guest in my car I can not log in to my profile
Which country are you in? I'm in UAE and I find this very difficult. My software cannot update :(
There are some updates for the chinese cars, but not this far i believe, but have other options

Bidirectional charging... does this mean you can power your freezer from the car?
If you have a BiDirect-DC wallcharger available ye sure why not. Is it as easy plug and play as V2L from hyundai/Kia? Not at all.
Is this a Chinese imported car, or you have the VW ID.4 officially supported/provided by your local dealer in Turkey?

My boot stopped opening first time and the kick open doesn’t work now. Also the stupid voice command opens up all the time for no read . The rest is good. 1:18
If I buy used ID.4 1st max, does this mean I can't get WeConnect to work?

Im looking for an useful answer, but nothing else then contact support (through app) and they fix the cases individually… (but thats not a broad fix)
There are at least 40 owners in the ID forum with the same issue with the in car shop. I upgraded from 2.4 to 3.2 a week ago an have the same problem with shop.

Many of these things were already in 3.0. The biggest improvement in 3.2 is to have the energy consumption view on the small display.
The video is new features from V2.4, not from V3.0, so fine to include the information in this video.
Automated or memory parking is not available?
As long as you dont have ultra sonic sensors on the wheel arches, No

Het blijft gewoon ruk die experience, hoeveel tijd hebben ze wel niet gehad om alles recht te trekken… nee gewoon laten betalen voor wat je bij een ice car in de app gewoon krijgt… thx voor de review Furkan, goeie

Which version was before this update?
In Canada we got the little changes with the 3.1 but we don't have the v2g/v2h
Auto-Hold wasn't with our old 2.1
Before 3.2, 3.1 was available for factory cars and 3.0 was available aa ota/dealer and factory.
3.5 is currently rolling out from factory

@@TheBuzzer67 well the usa 3.1 sw base should be good enough (crosses fingers) for followup updates without a dealervisit. But i need to see it first :D
Something ain’t right.I have 3.1 and have a shop and ALL the facilities you say are absent. Eg plug and charge etc all now in the App.
Car/account not talking in the backend. No working shop is no working plug and charge because you need to buy some stuff first in the account before being able to use P&C in the app
