The guy's names steve, hell of a nice guy! .... I've been back this week to sort his truck for him. He will be in this week's video and it's wasn't the seals that had gone on his truck is all I'm saying 🫣😫
thanks for the comment and for watching! Your the man for coaches though lol it was so refreshing being able to get to stuff on it that's usually tucked in a chassis 😂😂😂
Yay someone from across the pond!!!! How are you doing? I'm so happy you enjoy the content buddy 😎 I worked on a T800 Kenworth the other month. I'd love to do a bit more with some other trucks with paccar engines in
excellent video. You are a teacher of teachers. Thank you for taking the time to make videos, to tell us your experiences. This is the first time I have seen a module update without using Davie, I thought it couldn't be done. You also had the p3861 fault on a CF 410, the seals and DPF have already been changed, but it continues the same. It is somewhat strange because the same vehicle has also had a bpv and VGT failure. Thank you friend for sharing your knowledge and professional experiences. greetings.
Hey Benny 👋thanks for dropping by and telling me you enjoy the videos. I've done 2 coaches in the space of 7 days now 😅🫣. I find it amazing how it's all set up in the back 😎.
@@TRUCKTECHUK it’s sometimes easier sometimes harder, especially with the crossover between chassis and body (Daf/Irazar) not always straight forward 🤙🏼
The other coach I did the other day had all the covers up inside and I was standing on the gearbox leaning over trying to get to some plug on the engine 😂. It's all new so in my head it's all new and interesting lol
@@TRUCKTECHUK that’s the fun bit! 😂😂 you don’t know your alive until your kneeling on the lid of an ishift trying to change the exhaust brake air pipe 😂
Hey Gareth 👋 how are you doing buddy? How's the jaltest working out for you? Have you had anything interesting in the last week? Glad the ODB pass-through tools working out for you....can't seem to keep them on the shelf currently 🫣
Its always a pleasure watching you work. Have always wanted to see a DAF/Paccar engined coaches. Am a bus nut by the way. DAF powered coaches are unicorns( non existant in south africa) Is that an MX13 or MX11 in the coach?
Thanks for the comment buddy 👍 . I've done another coach since this one again PACCAR powered. Both luckily have had MX-13 in. I will try and get some more things with PACCAR engines in on the channel I think 🤔
@@TRUCKTECHUK Mate, you already are the go to guy for PACCAR engines and troubleshooting for content. PACCARS are not the most valued in the US. But the quitest and most efficient. DAF is the biggest market for PACCAR in UK and EU slowly growing in South America especially Brazil. No matter where you look there is not much DAF PACCAR content out there. Have yet to see a full engines disassembly and assembly content. Either they are super reliable or have no following.
Don't get me wrong I love a Paccar engine but they certainly are not reliable.....the fact I spend 40 hours a week if not longer just on PACCAR says a lot. I'd hate to see how they stack up against other manufacturers for reliability. As for complete engine disassembly and assembly, they always seem to fault on the top end or the bottom end 🤔. Some times it's the liners 😅
@TRUCKTECHUK definitely not mate your attention to detail in explaining is brilliant your videos have help me loads in the last six months. We have got a xf daf at minute we have spent £1000's on its the problem child of our fleet 😆. Keep up the good work.
Oh that's good to hear buddy. I'm going to hopefully do some more in-depth stuff on a different sort of format I think on operating principles and diagnostics and then have this as the weekly "what did I get up to" sort of thing I think
It's 60 pounds an hour buddy. No fuel costs, no Mileage.....I'm not out to pull people's pants down. Just pay me from where I leave the door and I'm happy 😊
Hey John, I know! And the best thing was....I did another one later in the week 😅. It's been raining coaches recently! But hey.....if it's got a PACCAR engine in I'd give it a go!
Hey beny! I thought they were Scania but you never know what will show up these days.......I need to find a broken crane with a Paccar engine on to fix next 😂
Hey, thanks for the comment. I would have said a worn engine would contribute to excessive crankcase pressure. How this issue would stem from a faulty compressor I don't know 🫣 how is it faulty? Not going to unload? Faulty compressors are usually power steering pump and fuel lift pump-related if lower than the compressor head. Or if it's compressor head-related you would be getting coolant or air pressure issues 🤔
@18:00 Tidy cab.. one fault code... Owner is on it!! I like this guy already!

Unfortunately, I worked for DAF so I'm dammed for eternity anyway 😂😂😂😂😂
You are welcome to coaches...horrible things
Ha ha ha I couldn't get over the fact it was so accessible on the engine and had no fan hub 😂😂😂😂
Hello, can a faulty compressor cause excessive smoke out of the crankcase breatherpipe?

@@TRUCKTECHUK thought aircompressor was greased with engine oil, after googling I saw it is seperate from the engine.
