My book, the Easter Connection, would be a great enrichment for your Easter and a gift for others. www.seagullbook.com/easter-co...
In this episode Andrew Skinner and Kerry Muhlestein discuss the events of Holy Saturday. They cover the burial of the Savior, and also the things we know He did while His body was in the tomb but His spirit was in the Spirit World.
We are grateful for our sponsor, Lisa Spice, and for our producer, BJ Muhlestein, and for Rich Nicholls, who composed and plays the music for this podcast.
We must remember Mary, mother, what she experienced we cannot feel or KNOW!!!!!!
That is so very true!!!!
@TheScripturesAreReal so many parts of the story of Jesus's Life, we have so little . You're invites are great. 😊 thanks
@@dianaleehall85 I sure wish we knew more, but I am grateful for what we do know and find growth in pondering over the things we don't know.
Ahh yes, Mary, the aka "Virgin" that was married to Josef. What a nonsense. Christians are just delusional people.
Thank you for this episode! It really made me stop and ponder about how blessed we are to have and be apart of the restoration of all things! What a time to be alive and to be a member of the church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints! ❤
Amen to that! Hallelujah and amen!
I have saved these to a playlist and will listen to them again next Easter!
If you are like me, they will be like completely new material by then.
Thank you for this awesome series! It was a talk by Elder Wortlin who gave the talk Sunday Will Come
Thank you!
I wish you would have brought up the Gospel of Nicodemus. Although it is apocryphal it follows D&C 138 somewhat. It also shows John the Baptist preparing the way for our Lord in the spirit world by gathering together all those who prophesied of Jesus so they would be ready to receive commissions to preach to the spirits of the dead. This is why Jesus said there was no greater prophet than John. He was the only one who made straight the path of the Lord in two worlds.
It is interesting. There is so much to bring up. I am just glad for any truth we are spurred on to see!
Great point 😊
Good stuff!❤
I am so glad it is helpful for you!
I play my happiest records this day, eating pepperoni pizza.
Ah! you convinced me to adopt this tradition!
