My book, the Easter Connection, would be a great enrichment for your Easter and a gift for others. www.seagullbook.com/easter-co...
In this episode Andrew Skinner and Kerry Muhlestein discuss the events of Easter Sunday. They revel in the reality of the resurrection, and explore the profound witnesses we have of that blessed event.
We are grateful for our sponsor, Lisa Spice, and for our producer, BJ Muhlestein, and for Rich Nicholls, who composed and plays the music for this podcast.
Thank you for this wonderful week to reflect and to renew our testimonies of the priceless gift of the Atonement of Jesus Christ and His resurrection!! Thank you for sharing your testimonies of our Savior!!
It is an honor, and a joy! I am glad if it has been a blessing for you.
Thank you so very much for sharing your knowledge and testimonies. I learned much and am grateful for the Savior and His gift.😊
I am so very, very glad. All we wanted was to help us all draw closer to Christ. Bless you, and Happy Easter!
Thank you so much for helping make my Easter week so much more meaningful. Glory be to the Father and to the Lamb who conquered death! I also add my humble witness that He lives!
Thank you for your witness. We are all strengthened as we bear and hear witnesses of this most glorious event!
Thank both of you. Made Easter week even more special. Beautiful and informative
I am so very, very glad to hear it! Bless you and Happy Easter!
Thank you for such a thorough discussion of each day of the week leading up to Easter. It has been grounding when it would be easy to get caught up in the tasks of life. It has made this season so much meaningful to me.
That is just what we hoped for. I am so very glad! Happy Easter!!!
Thank you for an amazing week! This has been amazing! He is real! I love Him!
Amen, and thank you for your testimony!!!!
Ah, the coup de Gras is here at last. Thank you, brothers, for a great and special week, Happy Easter
Happy Easter, and bless you!
I know my friend the Savior lives, The Father lives... I know Joseph Smith the prophet of the last dispensation lives... and yes my mother taught me to love them and read the Book of Mormon... thank you Gentlemen!
Perhaps in honor of the newly-resurrected King, the angels “opened the door” for Him!
I took a class on Asia History from Dr. Skinner at Rick's College in the early 90s. He is a great man and a great teacher.
Amen to that! Truly both a gentleman and a scholar!
Absolutely beautiful on this Easter Morning. Hallelujah ❣️
Hallellujah indeed!!!!!
So glad and filled with joy to hear your words of testimony of Christ and His resurrction!!
I am so glad. We are blessed to know this, aren't we?
I would like to join you and also testify that Jesus lives. My testimony has grown because of the wonderful lessons about Him and because of the many influences of the Holy Spirit in my life. As a convert, I have experienced the guidance of the Holy Spirit for 43 years and know that the church of Jesus Christ is His church on earth. Greetings from Belgium
Amen, amen, and amen!!!! I hope to visit Belgium one day!
It never occurred to me that the Resurrection was an ordinance until you pointed out that two witnesses (two angels) were present. As a Temple ordinance worker, this had a big impact on me. Amazing stuff! Thank you.
I am interested to see how all of this really works when we can really understand!
My thoughts exactly! Ha! 😊
Where do we learn that Jesus “passed through” the burial clothes?
I am not sure. I will ask Dr. Skinner about that.
He says that there is no authoritative text describing what happened in the tomb, and he seems to be quoting a British scholar about His physical body passing through the burial clothes.
@@TheScripturesAreReal please do as Dr. Skinner. I’m very interested in the foundational text that lead him to that conclusion. Always willing to learn.😁
*ask
@@gemelindacjp7976 thank you for the reply
Michael and Gabriel were the angels that rolled away the tomb stone.....so they were all ready resurrected?
I am not sure we know for sure who they were, and I don't know that we know what powers angels do and don't have to use forces other than their physical bodies.
