It was so interesting to me to learn so much more from both of you about the meaning of the ordinance of washing feet and how the upper room became a "temple" room with the Last Supper. My heart was touched by your testimonies of how the Savior's intense suffering in Gethsemane for the entire universe and his death on the cross expressed Christ's absolute willingness to fully submit to the Father's will and his great relief at being able to tell His Father that he had finished the work He was sent here to do.
It was uplifting for me too! I love that we can all strengthen each other in Christ!
Hey brethren as I think about that wonderful new commandment that the Savior gave us,and he knew what was coming in just a matter of hours , to love one another, as I have loved you, and to enter in to some of the most hate filled, vicious environment anyone has ever seen. Yet he still commanded us to love one another.
Yes! And He knew He would be faced with people it would be hard to love at the moment, yet He still knew that is what He and we must do!
