In retrospect both Berlanga's and munguia's performances were both respectable and the best fights anyones given Canelo since he was a 160 pounder years ago. One could say Berlanga's performance was if anything better because he didn't stand there and take entire combinations clean like munguia did he actually boxed patiently with Canelo and simply got outboxed, but at the same time you could say munguia had a better performance because he wanted to trade more with Canelo and be in a firefight although he actually just got dominated because of that eagerness. It depends what you like more, patient boxing or more of a toe to toe fight.

Though I only saw the highlights and not the full fight, from what I saw this was a real boxing fight. They both went toe-to-toe in the center of the ring slugging it out. No dancing around the ring and hugging. That's something you rarely see nowadays in boxing. Good fight from both fighters!

There might of not been a KO win, however, Canelo displayed a superior IQ, Defense, precise power, endurance, and control. Truly a masterful display. He basically did to Munguía what Floyd did to him all those years ago. That schooling really made Canelo into the beast he is today and really gained much more from loosing to Mayweather than he would have gotten by beating him. I believe this will help shape Munguía into a much better fighter now that he has experienced the calling of boxing he can now make it his goal to reach and surpass that. It will hopefully help him develop his defensive and countering skills. He has power, endurance, grit, and heart. He just needs that little extra and some more experience. In retrospect both Berlanga's and munguia's performances were both respectable and the best fights anyones given Canelo since he was a 160 pounder years ago. One could say Berlanga's performance was if anything better because he didn't stand there and take entire combinations clean like munguia did he actually boxed patiently with Canelo and simply got outboxed, but at the same time you could say munguia had a better performance because he wanted to trade more with Canelo and be in a firefight although he actually just got dominated because of that eagerness. It depends what you like more, patient boxing or more of a toe to toe fight.

Though I only saw the highlights and not the full fight, from what I saw this was a real boxing fight. They both went toe-to-toe in the center of the ring slugging it out. No dancing around the ring and hugging. That's something you rarely see nowadays in boxing. Good fight from both fighters!

Shut out to Munguía, homie did good but canelo was just in another level. This was a beautiful display of experience and clean precise boxing from Canelo. There might of not been a KO win, however, Canelo displayed a superior IQ, Defense, precise power, endurance, and control. Truly a masterful display. He basically did to Munguía what Floyd did to him all those years ago. That schooling really made Canelo into the beast he is today and really gained much more from loosing to Mayweather than he would have gotten by beating him. I believe this will help shape Munguía into a much better fighter now that he has experienced the calling of boxing he can now make it his goal to reach and surpass that. It will hopefully help him develop his defensive and countering skills. He has power, endurance, grit, and heart. He just needs that little extra and some more experience. Hat of to Munguía he lost honorably and didn’t disappoint as a warrior. Congratulations to Canelo for a phenomenal performance.
