FORD REMOTE START SYSTEM: This feature warms up or cools down the vehicle before the owner gets in.
How to Set
• Use the Information Display to set personalization options. Scroll through the
available menus by selecting Settings > Vehicle > Remote Start
How to Operate
• Lock the doors
• Press the Remote Start button twice. Exterior lamps flash twice and vehicle starts
• After entering the vehicle, press the brake and push the Engine Start/Stop button
or insert the key and turn to Start

Too bad Ford completely neutered the climate function for remote start. I have AC set to last set and it barely blows until I fully start the vehicle. Smh
@sherwood Ford, great vid but what if you use the remote the right way and hit the lock and double hit the remote start but the vehicle alarms it's self and doesn't start what do I do next?
I wonder what is "very cold" means, mine never turns heated seat and steering wheel. ..
How do I do this with the Ford Pass app? The heater and A/C do not turn on when started from my smart phone. 2017 Ford Escape Sync 3.
This video is really long with chatter and I couldn't find where to roll the windows down with the remote. :S
