I use this process on my own nails. It gives my nails the strength they need. In about two weeks I blend the nail and the process so there isn’t a ridge. I get about 3-4 weeks and then remove it with acetone and start all over. I really do like this product.
I saw this product a few days ago and bought it to fix one nail. It came out so good... that I did a complete fill in. Salons will be lucky if they see me again. This was fun, easy and therapeutic! I used to do my own nails a thousand yrs ago. And here we are. This works!
To get an ‘arch’, on your first application of the glue, paint the glue on only 3/4 of the way up. Leave about 1/4 up from the cuticle, un-painted. Second/third coat proceed as normal.
I am shook!! This worked really well!! I didn’t use the tips, though. With the corona virus closing things down, my nail place is closed and we don’t know when it will be re-opened. So, I ran over to Walgreens after seeing this video. I removed my dip coating and then used the KISS dip to coat my nails with dip powder (regular polish nor gel polish stays on my nails). My 18 yo daughter was very impressed with the outcome!
I have never did nails. I am trying this for something to do with my grand daughter. My questions is about when you said I didnt use the nail tips. Can you explain this.? I can use it without the tips? Please excuse my lack of knowledge. I dont know.. I want it as close to natural as possible. Thank you for responding if you are able to.

@@thismomlovestosave9447 thanks for getting back to me. I did it too and they came out great. So great I buy the various tell dip colors when I can find them. I even have gotten a professional nail Dremel (which is a little scary to use) & a UV LED Nail Lamp to dry my Gel Polish Colors if I feel like painting them. I also purchased a Air Fan Nail Dryer. 😂
I’m watching this during a time that I’ve given up on nail salons. I never usually keep my nails on for longer than a week or so (usually for just special occasions or if I’m bored. I do a lot of computer work so nails are a little harder to deal with) so this was a good buy for me. I don’t want to spend x-amount of money on nails I don’t intend to wear for that long so this really benefits me. I plan to buy better products later on down the road :)
I believe it also gives the nail more strength, i dont like a crazy arch but abit of a curve looks really nice whenever I've had flat nails they tend to break on me
My husband came with this kit for me. He saw it on sale and thought I'd want it, but I had no idea what it was. now I'm kinda psyched for my next manicure!! This is gonna be FUN!
I know I'm 2 years late but I just bought and used this set last night. One thing I did was for my first dip I only did gel over the tip and then did two layers just to help build up the strength in that area. For getting 2 sets out of $12 tho I won't complain too much.
You did an awesome job. I'm just beginning to experiment with press on nails and I like em. They only last a week for me but you cant beat the cost. I'm sold. I wont be going back to salons ever.

I didn’t use the tips. I kept my own nails and did fill ins and repaired a thumb. I had an arch and it came out excellent. My nails are twice as long as this vid and I did use my Emory boards and Emory block for absolute smoothness. They look professional. Periodt 💅🏾💅🏾💅🏾💅🏾💅🏾💅🏾💅🏾
Dawn Takach Hi, Dawn.... I used this same product as in video. The few things a little different ...I used Emory board on nails first to smooth out where my old gel/ acrylic fill in around cuticles and top of nail. I put the brush on gel from - cuticle to about 1/2 the nail then dipped my finger in upside down. I felt I was getting the powder on evenly in the corners.😁 Brushed off excess. Then I put the gel going across the nail ( where you hate for them to break🙄) just across there and dipped back in powder. After that I Brushed On entire nail. (Add as much for thickness) or security. Ok... yes brush on the activator, let dry and file.... but I used my long black Emory boards and my Emory block! If your nails aren’t smooth.... after you polish with a color that’s when you’ll see it😯
Here's my question - when it's time for a fill, how does that work? Do you fully remove these and do a new set or is there a way to do a fill with the kit?
LOVE THIS!! there are alot of steps but they came out looking like salon quality. the only thing i didnt like was that the tips were 2 high on my nail cuz my nails are short. is there a way to file them so they look better and not take over my entire nail bed!! youre great by the way!! keep up the tutorials!!
I tried it on my natural nails this morning. Im not very patient with things like this but i needed something to keep my naturals from breaking so i decided to try. It didnt take long but ill probably take my time next time bc i was kinda sloppy around the cuticle, seems like it was too thick until i filed it down and i would suggest being careful not to bump the nail after dipping bc it doesnt dry as quickly as i expected. Overall im satisfied and excited to see how long they last and if it lets me continue growing my nails without breaking.
I watched another video on these nails. If you want the arch. Start lower down closer to where your nail tip is or even the whiter part of the acrylic nail when applying the polish before dipping. And after each time you add polish move up higher and dip again. Keep going till you reach the cuticle.
I have this kit but was afraid to try it. I'm not after watching your video. Really informative. After applying all tips, if the tip is too visible and bugs me, do you think I can just paint over the entire nail with polish? As they grow out, do people do fills with more brush on gel and powder or is it best to remove it all and start over? Thanks.
Carrianne Hornok they come off in about 20 minutes with acetone. I use two bowls one with hot water an a smaller bowl inside with acetone. Came off super easy,I’m not going back to the salon.
To get the arch that u want just apply the liquid to the center of the nail where u want the arch then dip in powder and repeat a couple times the powder only sticks where u apply the liquid so that is how u get the arch look u want ...
As a professional nail tech for 23 yrs...I tried this to use at home as my husband can't stand the smell of acylic liquid lol..and this is very easy to use, however, it's not very sturdy and it would be hard for beginners to get that beautiful arch...but on the plus side, barely any lifting. I stumbled onto this a few months ago since I’m not able to get to the nail salon due to my work hours. I love it! It gets easier n now I do my own. I just haven’t perfected polishing them yet lol so French tip it is👍🏼
In order to make it not so flat, instead of applying the glue all over right away just put it right where the fake nail meets the natural nail then work your way down to your cuticle. This will make it so there's a stronger apex and the nail won't break as easily. Since you started where the nails meet then worked your way down, there's be more product there since you didn't put it all over your nail at once and you'll see that curve which doesn't happen when you put the glue and powder all over the nail at once cause you're putting an even layer all over.
I think it looks great, I don't care for the thick look... thank you for sharing! I didn't like the top coat, it looks almost gummy... I am wondering if you could do this is a "normal" kit...

can you add any powdered color such as eye shadow to add some color or glitter?
So we put the brush on gel to put our nails and then at last we put it again for the final? Is that like the final coat?
When do you add color??

In order to make it not so flat, instead of applying the glue all over right away just put it right where the fake nail meets the natural nail then work your way down to your cuticle. This will make it so there's a stronger apex and the nail won't break as easily. You're actually suppose to brush the bond 3/4 quarter from the cuticle. (Not all the way to the cuticle) But over all great job
And the 2nd coat that's when u go closer to the cuticle..
Hi. I purchased one of these kits a few days ago. Unfortunately, I didnt look to see if any acrylic tips were included. Now I'm wondering if I can even use it without the tips? Does anyone know? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
You can get tips from your local beauty supply store or even family dollar
I love your video. Help me a lots. I am going to buy this kit for shure Because of you. Thank you.
Wow it looks so easy ,but I wonder if I do it will it be the same 🥺
As long as you keep it off your cuticles and skin, it should be good!
This was awesome!!! Simple and to the point. Exactly what I was looking for.
Watch LongHairPrettyNails second video on this kit! She shows how to get that arch!! Loved your video, thank you.

Hi hi hi hi hi
Does it smell?? Like, when you go to the nail salon it smells really bad, will it stink up the house?
No not at all it has a little smell to it but nothing like the nail salon. The smell is like a nail glue smell and not strong at all.
Best time to stay indoors as much to stay safe & be a help to others. Try out your hobbies, arts craft beauty etc, it's alright to try & do self grooming. Good luck stay safe Pray for everyone & your family & yourself.
Well said!
Can you apply the tips on your natural long nails?
Maria Abonza yes you can.
Is there a link to the product?
Looks pretty good but it would have been nice if you would have shown the nail as you were applying the products.
where was this when I started high school?????
Thank you. ❤ your video helped me do my nails perfectly
Glad I could help!
Where did you buy it...I dream of this😖
Walmart, but amazon and Kroger have them
I am so going to try this. I miss my nails and my salon actually closed up shop permanently. The shop is empty. Maybe I can manage to do this and save myself some money. Wish me luck.💅
Did you ever try it?
You have to build the arch by applying powder in layers from tip down.
