This is a quick, effective standing leg workout! I added 1 pound ankle weights to each ankle and could really feel the (good) burn! Thank you for all your great workouts, Lauren!
Day 22, just a quick one this evening. Whenever I need just a quick extra workout because it is my running days or I have been busy doing other stuff, these 10 min workouts hit the spot, it is not too much and I can still keep my promise.

The only exercise that I do is walking, But this year I have to do more and different. I also, going to try your wall Pilates. My Dr told me to do low impact exercises. Like walking, Pilates , Swimming 🏊♀️ and Cycling 🚴 . I am 5’7 , 140 lbs . My goal this year is to reach 130 lbs to alíviate the pain. My Dr told me to try stay the skinnier I can to not put extra pressure on my knees. Also, Since last year I changed the way I eat. Not process carbs, No sugars, no vegetables oils in order to reduce inflammation. I made my own Oatmeal bread gluten free. Anyways, Thank you for your videos. It is difficult to find videos for toning and strength your legs without doing lunges or squats. I need to lose few lbs, tone and strength my body. 🤗Oh yes! That challenged these legs! BTW, tnx for the reminders to 'hold the core' as sometimes it's easy to lose that focus. Maybe slip in some ways we can do these moves throughout the day. I've found my patients don't think about doing a move while at the sink, or microwave, waiting in line, at the park with the kids, brushing your teeth, after sitting awhile, etc, etc. It helps to keep moving with purpose allllll day❣

So glad to rediscover another of your 10-minute knee-friendly leg workouts, since I've been having some knee pain lately. I plan to alternate this with your seated leg workout. I'm trying to tone up my thighs, which have gotten flabby again lately. I also noticed that you have a stretching routine for knee pain, and I may try that next. This one was definitely challenging but doable, and I felt it in both the working leg and the standing leg throughout. It seemed like a good cardio workout to me too -- do you agree?
Yes, you do get a little cardio with this one too. The knee pain video is also good because it's not just stretching there are also muscle strengthening exercises to build the muscles surrounding the knee for support. Definitely give that one a try. if you are comfortable getting the floor, my mat pilates videos are also great for toning the legs and the side-lying position is knee friendly.
Couldn't quite see the pulsing movements properly when you were head on and lifting the knee to the side or when you stretched the hip flexor at the end, could you change your position to be sure it can be seen clearly, otherwise I had no idea that such simple, compound movements could make your muscle work so hard! A revelation, thank you. X
The pulses are very small movements, so I'm not surprised that you couldn't see them but you sure can feel them!! I can't edit the video once it's posted, but I'll keep your suggestion about changing position in mind for next time.

That was intense! My hip flexors are tight.
Most people's hip flexors are super tight from sitting too much, this video will help strengthen them. Make sure to stretch them out too :)

I have brusitis so this is a challenge, but my legs have very little muscle. I can walk miles, but nothing changes.
