Right, any fool would know that people aren't going to throw any coke way, they can see where there is a wide white error where water was, just going to make up some stuff, going by what the kits said take it to them lab for a test.
I saw in another video a Sargent explained that a positive result is pink liquid on top and blue liquid in the bottom. Which means that this police officer didn’t read the instructions correctly or he didn’t read the instructions at all. Because he keeps saying the result turned pink.

Well it start to be something usual nowadays with all the cops arround , we are guilty until proven innocent. Every time a cops stop me , in any circumstances not only trafic stops , they alweis , alweis try to acuse me of something... man ...I don't even know what a consensual encounter is. The tests work fine. You are supposed to break the ampules left to right waiting 30 seconds between each. Not all three at once.
NIK test manual - Positive Result: Blue or pink with blue speckles after breaking the first ampoule, a pink result after breaking the second ampoule and a pink layer over a blue layer after breaking the third ampoule.

RedHot DogFeet probably because no one reads the instructions and does exactly what the cop here does (mashes all three vials at once) The liquid in the vial is pink already so this cop got a negative result.
The test he uses is actually a Sirchie Nark test not the Safariland NIK test but they are both the same (break vials left to right) and a positive would end up with pink over blue.
These road side test sure aren't reliable!
I was 65, retired from CBP 30 yrs. of service, randomly drug tested, never been arrested my whole life and I was arrested for possession of cocaine.
Months prior, I was cleaning out some clutter from my car and had set a box of baking soda on the passenger's dash to take inside. Some sprinkled out from the bottom and I never got around to wiping it off.
While sitting in a parking lot in broad daylight, eating my breakfast while it was still hot, I was approached by an over zealous rookie cop that began peppering me with dumb ass questions. Hell, my keys weren't even in the ignition. I'm minding my own business, not bothering a soul, watching RUclips videos in my own little retired world! Not a care in the world. Yet, that came to a screeching halt!
He asked me about the white powdery substance on my dash? So I told him what I'd just explained to y'all. But, he wasn't having it, used one of those handy dandy road side test kits as I laughed at him, saying how stupid he was going to feel when it tests negitive for nothing!
Well, I stopped laughing when he showed me it just tested positive for cocaine and arrested me!
Just shy of a yr later, the GBI lab results returned stating, "No illegal substance found ".
Ya think?
But, now and forever, everytime I get pulled over and they run my license, it'll only show I've been arrested for possession of cocaine. No other details! And knowing the mentality of todays cops, their thought process will be, "oh, a drug dealer that wormed out of a conviction! "
I live in a constant state of fear. I'm planning on traveling with my 2 dogs and horse to ride and camp in my trailer w/living quarters.
I'm scared beyond words of the real possibility that because of the rediculous legality of using those test kits, which states on the packaging, "Not reliable, Common household items may give a false positive ".
I don't want to lose my animals!
I'm not necessarily scared for myself, but for my animals.
I'm planning on carrying the GBI report findings and anything else possible in anticipation of having to constantly prove I'm ok and not some cartel drug dealer with a horse and 2 dogs.

This was Georgia Southern Quarterback Shai Werts who was suspended from his team following this arrest. The substance was of course found to be bird poop and Werts was reinstated - the Cop Deputy Charles Browder resigned. He'd been fired from a previous cop job due to inappropriate behaviour - what a shocker. This was profiling for sure.
I’m really proud this young man has a great attitude. It’s shitty that he was suspended from the team. Has the cop never parked under a tree with a flock of birds right above his vehicle? I don’t know anything about coke but I would bet no one would waste it all over their hood and windshield.,I’m glad this person resigned and hope they take another career path not involving the public.👍🏻

This made me mad, starting from a speeding violation and they were so ready to presume cocaine or some other crime and treat him like a criminal. And their failure to stop charge, without further evidence it sounds dubious to me.
And that the bird poop tested positive, makes me wonder how many false convictions have happened because of this test showing false positives.
Those cocaine field test kits are known to be unreliable. In order to get a conviction, I believe it requires additional testing to confirm. So, they're enough to provide cause for arrest but not a full conviction.
So basically if you go around testing enough shit you're bound to find something that tests positive eventually, and then you can look a fool on youtube in front of everyone.

They won't rely on a field test alone to convict, only to arrest.
For a conviction, you can bet a much more comprehensive and expensive lab test would be done.

@Alex Wymore there are two exceptions to the warrant requirement which are relevant to your statement. One being a search incident to arrest which allows cops to search the persons pockets and what’s on their person. The other which is more relevant is an inventory of the cars contents for the reason of impounding the car. Yes an “inventory” of the car for all practical reasons is a search, however it is recognized by the Supreme Court as an exception due to the fact that the Police/Sheriff Dep’t. need to document the contents of the car prior to impounding for liability reasons.Can’t leave the car on the roadway. Arresting someone for speeding is petty none the less, but we don’t know any information on how long the guy drove before stopping after the traffic stop was initiated. Always question the legitimacy of police actions in regards to search and seizure but most of us have good intentions.

Or, he has the only silver car that exists in that area, and he drove past a cop for a second time after he successfully escaped him, then while he was driving 80 mph he threw his cocaine out of the window, which then accelerated itself to at least 90 mph in order to make it on to his hood (and none of it decided to end up on the windshield) instead of the side of his door or window like physics would require in every other similar instance in history. As I understand it, after they turned on the flashing lights, this young man did the following:
1. Slowed down.
2. Put on his hazard lights
3. Called the police non-emergency number to advise them he had an officer's car behind him and that he was in search of a well lit area to pull over.
This is textbook. It's exactly what I taught my son and daughter. We live in the rural south where dark back roads are the norm. Not sure what else to do or say to my kids anymore to keep them safe.

Exactly what I was gonna say. I work maintenance at a gas station and we use these pressed tablets that dissolve to make the windshield buckets. Me and my boss both have a past, and he even said "it's definitely an ammonia base and that's why it bubbles" and I ended up reading the msds on it(just because he's old and his chemistry isn't that phenomenal and I was curious) and it's actually the sodium bicarbonate(baking soda) that causes the bubbles, and ammonia to leave the streak free shine and such.

They just do what they can to make them change color (notice him smashing the shit out of the kit when it didn't turn on its own) so they can justify another charge.
