I did the math for what phase 5 tbc will cost a rogue. All crafts, enchants, gems, etc. and 1.2 units of consumables for every 1 unit required (to account for wipes)... and it's about 12k gold (at current prices) spent over 16 weeks.
The way to make BGs fun is to remove battlegroups. It sounds like a terrible idea due to queue times, but with a much smaller player pool you will no longer just face some random people you've never heard of. Instead you will face the same teams over and over, and you will start to build rivalries. It's the same reason why the PvP scene flourished on pservers, they had a very limited pool of active players. Battlegroups are to PvP what Group finder is to PvE.
You said the holiday events were the start of chores in wow but it’s so min max that it’s not required to actually clear continent so it’s only a chore if you choose to do it
No talk about the gnomish battle chicken? I think it's really broken atm and people are abusing it. It's basically what people thought the unnerfed drums would be, but even worse. If you want to parse orange as a melee, you'll soon need a full group of squawkers. Especially now that players have discovered how to get guaranteed squawks 100% of the time.
it's discussed in latest podcast we just did that's still coming for vod. Squawk isn't a big deal honestly, I just did 2 99s this past weekend without even really going full min/max in a semi-hardcore guild with no squawk stacking. Kill times will eternally be far more important than squawk stacking honestly speaking.
Zul Aman 7 weeks in to Black Temple, that's I think blowing content way too fast 12-14 weeks, I think would be appropriate, at least for me during that timetable current tier starts to feel more of a chore (coming from semi-hc background)
The problems of TBC... here some Boost/Cash Shop/Bot made people leave or not play at all. Now it's damage managing for the few who still play. TBC should have start fresh from lvl 1 for a INSANE leveling experience and wouldn't fuck PvP in phase 1. They react SO SLOW on any problem it's not even funny. They are doing god damn test like for BG premade or queue, I mean wtf just do the changes stop buying time. They do not communicate, they have no souls, they are square hard company. They say they love video game but there is no action showing us this love. It's so sad they are ruining every franchise we loved.
if i could join a super hardcore rogue on my alt rogue With warglaives promised. Trust me i will POP Haste potions every 2 minutes and sapper every 5 minutes and classic sapper every 6 minutes and Fel ironbombs between every 1 minute. when i can.
wait i don't understand why would the entry level of pvp be hard? Just join and que up like every1 was horrible at one point of the time. But i do agree there's a lot of skilled players so it might be very demotivating to play when you don't win the first 200 games. etc
I of course can only speak for me but for example with New World, seeing you can only use like 3 skills and with weapon switch 6 ? Already no interest. And WoW, well Blizzard doesnt care for botters, boosting, queue times for Horde in PvP over 1 hour, premades vs randoms still a thing and the list goes on. I dont want to play and invest alot of time into a MMO if I know the devs dont care and just want to milk their playerbase.

And OMG yes Give us dual speck As far as som It's not different enough for me to even consider. If I'm honest I'm super hyped for wrath

New world is only killing new world the game is a buggy shit show, no reason to play a game where anything can break at any Moment and things things don't get fixed.

I played New World until level 20 and realized I wasted $40 and started playing TBC classic and never looked back.

It's the Toshley Station transporter and I'm pretty sure it doesn't tick while you're offline.
