Hot take: I don't really don't care if a game company decides to shift their focus to mobile. It tells their audience right up front where their priorities are (read: moneyyyyy), and sets a certain expectation for all their products.
Given how much bigger the profit margin is for mobile games, it speaks volumes nowadays when a company stays away from that market, and sticks to PC/console. It tells me that the developer prioritizes the game itself more than the profit it makes them.

@@jasonu3741 Well, thank you. Disappointment is a part of it, for sure. It's like a sad farewell for me. I get why people get as upset as they do, but the best argument you can make is always with your wallet. If you don't like a company's decisions, stop buying their product.
@@Poillip sadly the game is made so that your wallet isn't as important it's predatory and then once a couple of people that do spend money are in those couple can keep it profitable while the devs are not incentivised to improve the game for the f2p guys. But that's a legislation issue most of all

Maybe MMOs just need boss kill cams after you die lol. Show the last 30-60 seconds of a fight from bosses PoV, respawn, rebuff, go again.

wow is 100% p2w you just dont spent real money in game at least not for classic.
I'm playing on a 5-7k pop german eu pve server and have seen like 2 gdkps running there is about a hundred sunwell raiding guilds each week so sadly it comes down to server community
its hillariou to listen to ppl with zero pserver exp not getting shit about FRESH^^ everything they talk about just reeks of cluelessness of how things COULD be if blizzard would only be 10% of pserver developer. The fact that the new classic pserver Everlook got already 20k ppl on there discord with literally zero advertisement just shows how fucking bad blizzard is at everything they do
