A way to solve this dungeon finder stuff is to add something similar to retail mythics. Something where there's a tool that u request to join groups etc. and rather then the normal dungeon finder of instantly porting you inside, you will still be required to make your own way to the dungeon. Requires you to still move around and interact rather then just afk'ing in a city.
Normalizing arena point gains is a good thing, that's one of the better elements of the current Shadowlands system. There's not really a need to gate the RATE of acquisition as hard as it was in original TBC, especially when better rated players already get better quality gear as they climb the ladder. I agree that better rating SHOULD equal better gear in an MMO, NOT just cosmetic rewards. Rate of acquisition being wildly diff for low and high rated players has all sorts of weird implications when it comes to managing season length however. They removed 2's glad because ALL top 50 first page arena teams were priest / rogue at one point in S6, balance was garbage and they knew it. P.S. You guys are off a bit on 5's glad btw lol, we were over glad cutoff a bunch of times early season but when it came to last couple weeks' push it was ONLY tryhard uber meta spell cleave comps (or euros) queueing for the most part. You basically only fight the best players and a handful of meta teams, if you try to run a melee cleave like we did you're just toast stuck in high duelist. In theory 5's should be more balanced, but there's a lot of cheese involved due to map size to player ratio and the ability to class stack in some cases etc. TBC RNG also has room to get way out of control in 5's. It's possible that it might be one of the more respected brackets if the game were more popular, had better LFG tools and if Blizzard didn't screw up the calculations by not counting teams below 1000 rating. 2's and 5's both generally would need some balance tweaks to feel like they matter in terms of titles though.
The race change thing, they don't really see the example I have of: I have an undead rogue from classic but I want it to be orc since rogues can now use axes in wrath and the last two raid tiers have combat rogues using axes.. what does that have to do with pvp or RP implications lol I don't get why they are ignoring that side of it.
Agreed. Racials aside, what about the people who wanna switch factions just to get a change of pace and play with other friends, since they've been 1 faction all Classic long? Why turn down a chance to make more money? ...seems very un-Blizz like..
I rolled a Human to play the long game. OP in PVE In classic, Good at dungeon/rep griding due to human spirit in TBC + perception, Every man for himself for WOTLK
The lock-out thing is so misguided. A guild rolling through all 4 (realistically MAYBE 3) ToC lock outs will still finish in less time than it would take to clear Ulduar w/ HMs. The problem with ToC burnout is it was a small patch that LASTED WAY TOO LONG.
So true. But everyone is already thinking this is a great change. No shot, you’ll have 1 hour of raiding current content a week. More people will quit out of boredom vs burnout
Really quick with RFD I don't 100% agree with the whole community aspect because I would say at this point do we really justifiedly have a community anymore. I feel there's more just groups of friends and then you have people that can of treat the game more as a job than anything else And I still think rfd would be better than good just might take on that. @@luizperez3357 it's been explained times and again that the WW damage is normalized and the OH dps portion of WW using the fastest weapon u can find vs the slowest weapon that u can find is less than 20dps...which u will do 2-3 times of that with just ur AA given that Glaives has probably higher dps than any other weapon beside the hand which is a main hand weapon only...just read some logs man....we are sick and tired of writing this under every warrior post involving a fast OH! warcraftlogs is free!

You take a little healing loss which doesn't really matter too much and you have to press a button every 40 seconds. No one says anything about the holy pally having to get sanc aura and losing their output in comparison.
I'm really surprised that you guys were as harsh on the race change as you were but then not also LFD. I feel like Blizzard is equally out of touch about that issue as they are with race change. Either way, these changes feel like wrath minus and both are reasons that we didn't trust Blizzard to make changes before they released vanilla classic.

the no race change decision is makes sense for the people they made classic for. the most people who always stayed on private servers and didn'T go to retail were people who wanted an RPG experience with the scope of an mmo. nowadays most classic players are probably twitch streaming/watching would be parsers but those people might aswell hop over to retail when they are done with clasic. pandering to them, even if it means more profit now, would mean the original wow classic fans get stranded having to move back to private servers again. classic should stay an oldschool game. the wow players that want a modern experience should move to retail and leave classic to the actual classic fans
also the "buisness" thing sno is talking about is exactly the problem that got us retail. Creative buisnesses should be run by creatives. Video games are an artform and by following a vision videogames always find a more stable core audience. if you design a game with buisness in mind you check soulless boxes and end up with retail

Healers needs innervate ? 95% of them never used a single dark rune / Delete mages from 90% and they'll never kill Mu'ru im telling you // Monotarget and multitarget dps is still one of the best in 90% of the guild. Like, ok, "mage needs innervate" and a sp (but that goes for the rsham and the coh in the groupe, wow, shall we talk about warriors and rogue that need both legendaries to finally reach top dps + enhance cham + a feral druid ?

I'd like to point out in regards to the "best class" charts. Warlock averages are massively inflated from pressing seed on muru. This is however the wrong way to play the fight. But if you want to parse that's what you do.

They nerfed SSC and TK before the BT patch, so I think they will nerf SWP before pre-patch.
If ppl will reaslise that, when wrath will come out, and they have to wait a day to log in, they will transfer off really fast.
