Our guild has terrible main hand weapon luck, never got a single gressil, a single aq ripper or healing mace from illidan, i got my main hand glaive 2 weeks into sunwell, not seen an off hand yet
my guild stop raiding after 3 resto shamans quit in one lockout

My guild never saw a Death’s sting and never saw ANY of the 1-h melee dps weapons from KT in Naxx. Not a single THC, Gressil, or Kingsfall. Cleared every week since week 2 Naxx launched… we saw our first Gressil after a year of running GDKPs of Naxx in TBC.
My rogue has a Baron binding that I have month 1 of Classic launch and cleared MC every week of Classic without fail and never saw the other binding. Ran ST in TBC every week since it launched and I’ve seen 4 MH Glaives drop… but only on the raids where I’m running my paladin and not my main (rogue).
Same here man, I’ve seen 3 glaves on my hunter never a single one on my rogue :(
My guild has not seen a single glaive yet, but at the same time we had 4 Gressils by the end of Vanilla, as well as several MoM, a THC, etc. Luck is a hell of a thing.
Sad to hear, we had 2 sets of glaives on our first 10 kills. Rng is a bitch

Make the quest log off by default and put it in the game as an option. Win win? Also really enjoyed the podcast. I don't even play classic wow but I enjoy the talk tho and thinking about how stuff was back in the day compared to how it is treated these days.

The Blizzard Questie decision is the biggest non-issue, as dumb as it kind of is. As a WoW community we need to pick our fights for things that actually matter. This shouldn't be the hill you die on.

I get what you're saying though and I do wish you the absolute best As far as anything On the Beta yeah I agree there's no reason take away the quest helper and honestly.
And that's before we talk about the in game group helper which I've heard nothing positive no one has ever talked anything positive about it.
Although I do kind of find it funny yes a little bit after this day made a post saying they're gonna add it in any way at some point ironically enough And the whole 50% experience boost which is going to retail 1st for some weird reason.
I don't know I don't care for blizzard's pillars because quite frankly nobody placed the game like that especially the What they refer to like no one plays the game like this you guys are crazy.
It just kind of makes me go do you know who's playing this game like do you know because I don't think you do but that's my 2 cents on it at the very least
It’s interesting about the quest helper because I remember when wrath was coming out, blizzards vision was they wanted people to be able to just pick up the game and go. They noticed that everyone already had some sort of quest helper addon anyway. So they wanted to put in their own helper so people didn’t have a giant list of addons to download before they could start playing. 15 years later, they are removing the helper for what? Very confusing
Their philosophy back then was: the lower the barrier to entry the more people will be subscribed. What they apparently finally realized us that ease of access often correlates with lack of commitment and so the easier people get into wow and mechanics the easier they slip back out.
That beeing said I think wow's quest and dialogue design is not well suited to not have a quest helper. I sometimes force myself to read quest text on new toons but it's rarely engaging enough to keep me there I naturally gravitate to not reading it while in games like swtor I wouldn't think of skipping dialogue

It's been sad to see people in my guild saying "tbc actually sucked in hind sight, wotlk is going to be the best!!" only to know they will be saying the same thing about Wrath eventually
I think maybe once things reset again if they do a full Classic Plus they can recapture the magic again
Not gonna say that Wrath is going to 100% live up to the hype, I think it'll definitely have some problem areas. But I mean this when I say it. 90% of TBC was awful and I no joke have a hard time seeing a replay of WoD being worse than TBC was.
TBC is the worst version of WoW with a bullet.
@@Babaganoosh69 I have been hearing that a lot but I think of before classic TBC everyone was so hyped on it's arrival, I didn't hear anybody saying it was bad.
Man, I was so hyped to play TBC, but I ended up hating it. Went from a close-to-BiS fury warrior at the end of Naxx to being a pretty casual TBC player. I think Wrath will be better, but nothing is comparable to Vanilla for me.

At this point just go M+ there you have real meta and more audions for you and fewer people to deal with.

Just a random person here but I'll give you my opinion. The streaming community is the biggest reason for the modern toxicity in games. Embrace the no life fantasy worlds again. Stop making everything this quasi corporate culture. I don't even know how to fully describe it but it's not good. Cheers.
