A MOBA for grownups. but, seriously, its good but not remotely ready for mainstream. but the bones and some of the muscle is there. i hope they dig more into the customization.
I don't believe shooting the souls gives you "bonus" souls. I believe it "confirms" the souls just so the enemy doesn't get them. if you let them burst in the air, you still get them, it just gives the enemy a chance to get them first
I've been playing dota since it was born as Warcraft 3 mods, Dota Allstars. Stopped playing in 2019 because i thought i am too old to keep up. Deadlock slapped me and said "No you are not!"
Don’t just use the most popular public build. Learn how to make one that works for you and your character, and one that gives you options for all the different things the game throws at you. Deck building and theory crafting a build is honestly just as fun as the jumping and shooting!
Best game of 2024 without a doubt Stop wanting everything similar to overwatch. This game is a proper fps unlike overwatch which has auto aim characters like moira and melee only characters
Overwatch style objectives will NEVER work on this game. The reviewer is treating this game as a Shooter when it is entirely a MOBA in 3rd person. The entire point of the game isn't shooting other players, it's Farming and Learning Macro. Itemization won't work at all with those objectives he mentions. Not even League can get away from the MOBA mechanics with Nexus Blitz
i think this dude doesnt get it. you already have a moba shooter, and you want it to have a payload and team deathmatch? the genre is saturated enough and you want another copy of overwatch? wym?
yeah deadlock was made to have a unique take on MOBA or HERO SHOOTER then he want it to be another hero shooter? hahaha i hope they have given the review to a much more OPEN TO MOBA REVIEWER not this MOBA hater cuz what i like to MOBA specially DOTA it gives you a FLEXIBLE GAMEPLAY meaning anything is possible.
The way they are distributing the keys via only invite from a person who has it is annoying. I used to play moba a while back ,would be refreshing to try out this style.
@@imfinishedgrinding638 IKR, this way actually gets a higher chance that you get the core players that will give feedback and genuine interest, rather than some smug who's in it for the bandwagon to then end up giving a negative "ReViEw" when they don't like it.
The moment to moment gameplay is top notch, the movement, shooting and kinesthetics almost everything you do is very satisfying, that said, I think this title's biggest issue is how much it leans into the more complicated aspects of the moba genre, I don't think they gel too well with the game.
So I actually been playing Deadlock the past few days for those that dont know you can get free access on steams community page just check for someone sending invites, The game is alright its not really special, when you play it you will begin to actually realize that most of the characters have copy paste powers from other games.. I play many MOBA's even some of the not so popular ones like Paladin's, Battlerite, RC etc. From a personal setting, it really is not all that and a bag of chips. Top game this year, not even close. Top MOBA of the year, yes. I just have that feeling once its released people are going to see what I notice and it will fall off the map as they drift back to DOTA and LOL. I wanted so bad to Love this game with the hype from everyone and my friends but I have to be honest here.. Why have we not got a game like this with LOL Characters, could you imagine how Scary Fiddlesticks would be comming at you jumping off a wall or something. Idk this MOBA Player can only hope someday they will stop making these overwatch clones, and make no mistake that is what this is. Overwatch with Smite undertones mixed with no aim/aim abilities, Again to me this game fell short of the type of hype I have witnessed, but if you havent played pretty much every MOBA that exist then Deadlock could easily become your favorite.
