  • I got the final fire rate slightly wrong with Ivy at the end, it actually comes out to 68.211 bullets per second! I'm also not at all confident with my numbers here, so please take all of this with a massive grain of salt. With experiments like these I try to take away knowledge from the visibly observed outcomes rather than numbers, and doing it this way requires game sense which I can't always explain in a way that makes sense to everyone of every skill level. This also means that players who are better than me might see potential in something I test here that I've missed.
    Also, sorry for the bad editing. I keep making discoveries and mistakes as I record these, then splicing together the scraps of good info, and that sometimes makes for jarring cuts. In future videos I'm going to do a couple practice takes before actually recording to make sure I have the whole video planned out. I'll also eventually move away from these min-max testing videos, since I'm not nearly organized and methodical enough for rigorous testing like this format should have. Instead, I'll start showcasing my builds with gameplay, and then I can start talking about actual play instead of all this theory!
    Thank you for watching!

    Swift Striker is actually a really good item for any character that wants more fire rate at all. The main reason orange items with fire rate are so good is because they increase fire rate and weapon damage in one item and both of those stats get multiplied by each other.

      @@lucaspopowski6896 I've been thinking about things like this! In particular I don't know how buffs and debuffs stack across a team. For instance, I'd like to know if your ally's bullet resist shredder improves your own bullet damage, whether multiple heroic auras stack, and many other such interactions. For the purposes of my first few videos I've isolated build ideas to things that can be achieved with solo play in mind

    For gun brawl build, berserk+ swift strike is cheapest and provides most DPS, swift is goated. 22 attack speed is actually unironically the most " DPS" increased. Since it's constantly active.

    i've found that damage boosts can be better than fire rate boosts for dps. my non-meme build for mcginnis gets the health down pretty comparably with bodyshots. flask + intensifying mag and heal specter gets you like 90% of the way there.

Unfortunately when I tried it that UI doesn't seem to reflect conditional changes like spiritual overflow or active items like shadow weave, just your passive values for stats. Your bullets can't do damage faster than the dummy heals. Your bullets do 0 damage as you deplete the health bar. You can't compare the damage and dps at these kind of dps levels using the dummy.

    • @Wulfrim
      @Wulfrim  26 дней назад +3

      @@najsbajsmedmajs I don't think the bullets stop doing damage, but rather that as you deplete the dummy's healthbar its healing increases exponentially. The damage numbers seem to stay consistent despite the healthbar not being depleted after a certain point

    Calculate the damage output via mag dump is a bit unfair especially for Ivy and her low damage bullet.
    If its just oure damage per sec then no doubt Ivy will only second to Wraight or Haze.
