That new item will give you 3% more spirit per headshot you hit. Lasts for 12s and stacks 12 times max, so if you hit 12 headshots you get 36% more spirit. Since it’s percentage based, the item gets stronger as your (assumed base) spirit stat gets higher. For example, 3% of 30 is 1, so you get 1 more spirit per headshot, maxing at 12. The quality of games have massively decreased for me in Europe, feeling disappointed with it. Archon 1 so a bang average rank but the quality of games is definitely noticeable.
@@LordBeanlad it's because you're now being forced to play with players who legitimately do not care about winning or improving. there's no distinction between casual and competitive lobbies now so your rank is effectively meaningless.
Do they not want a support role? Kelvin support build was arguably the only true support in the game. The nerf to his grenade heal (2nd nerf now) essentially kills his support build. It was nerfed 20%, while other heals were nerfed 2%. I was getting like 30k healing per game using ALL the healing items (heal booster, healing nova, and rescue beam). Now it will be closer to 20k, which isn't worth it.
The Kelvin change looks significant, but it's a burst heal option compared to most of the other supports having their sustained healing reduced. It was also reduced by a flat number (-25 Healing) with no scaling change, making it more impactful early rather than later.
Fair points. The grenade heal upgrade is T2, so it's like a minute 6 upgrade and it will impact early healing. But given that the base is -25 (20% less) it will also inherently not scale as high into the late game. The support build felt balanced before this change as I was only averaging 2 kills per game and my effectiveness was in keeping teammates alive (and not dying myself). I haven't played the patch yet, so I'll have to see how it feels.
Dynamo and ivy are both also true supports, and bebop has high support elements as well. Hero shooter supports over rely on healing and anti death over general peel and trade assistance. Kelvin healing changes are in tune with the rest of the healing changes on characters, and do not diminish his rotational power, objective lockdown, and only slightly hurts his teamfight.

At this point, the focus should be on improving the game and getting feedback, and adding a ranked mode gave the impression that the game was more complete than it was. With the fairly small playerbase the game currently has, splitting the queue led to fairly unbalanced matches, especially in smaller regions like OCE. But I agree that removing that feature probably feels bad to a lot of players, hence the pretty harsh backlash in the past day

Silencer should be a big counter to pocket though
Yessss! An upgrade for my Melee Paradox build!
melee paradox new meta
Hell ya! It’s actually really potent! Once I got used to the playstyle I can sometimes carry. It’s a really fun playstyle. Utilizing bomb and wall. Once I got into the little hidden era by the hard camp on purple camp.. I was below 50% hp and I got jumped by two. I went down there. Used my bomb and wall and beat 2 guys, full hp to a pulp.
why does your healthbars look different#

You think the glass cannon changes will make that item better now that it has slow?
Duh

Can you have those health bars as default? I know you can do it with a console command but i tend to forget everytime to do that
You can add it in launch properties so it runs every time
@@Kazaam1996 what's the command?
Matches are a lot longer now and more fun to me. Not as many stomps where you feel helpless
We need more moves to be parry-able. Idk how much of a hot take it is, but itd be some nice depth of defense.
What do you think about Abrams charge being buffed in distance/stun/damage but can be parried?
Make an advance item uptier from reactive armor. Call it Explosive Reactive Armor.
The new silencer is broken. It’s almost unplayable against it.
"my ball will just be absolutely massive." HAHAHAHA XDDDD
they could tornado out of the wraith ult as well.
I for one am a big fan of removing ranked Q
The quality of games have massively decreased for me in Europe, feeling disappointed with it.
Going from having everyone keen to try hard and win, using VC etc, to what feels like playing a single player game, no one seems bothered about winning?
@@andresemidey9679bebop doesn't do much as a support except pulling friendlies which anybody can do better with rescue beam. mcginnis is more of a support pick than bebop
@zilliq-qz5uw uppercut hits allies as well, and he has an auto lock disarm that could give your hypercarry a free trade if you max it after putting 2 points into hook. He's an entry isolationist in the first place, similar to paradox or kelvin, you could build full tank/healing items and hard play your cc and peel. Mystic Slow/EE ult, new spell slinger headshot item to quick stack your spirit amp, the characters are intended to have multiple play paths, might as well find different ways to play each hero.
its much easier to have perma uptime on 3 as se7en now
I think the traps are way worse on Gray Talon. I feel like it was a nerf more then a buff.
i seriously hope they roll it back to ranked 1.0
because honestly i cant enjoy playing this game with Casual players or people who just wanna have fun, i want a sweaty, try hard competitive matches.
idc
iono what rank you are but my “casual” games have been very sweaty. was p5 week5
people try pretty hard in my games and my rank isnt even high (oracle) - you'll get the occasional feeder/troll builder but that can happen in a ranked queue as well
@@ront8742 Oracle, ive encountered some of the weirdos who went 0 kills with 2 digit deaths since this patch
@@livetodie1421 troll is just another thing, usually some kid on losing streak, however casual is selfish as they say "it's only a game man" and i get that.
but mixing them to ranked game is obnoxious as hell
Massive yamato nerf, power slash now feels horrid to use, has near zero aoe on minions and jungle now. IF someone dashes into you, you can't hit them anymore with your 1 because the aoe doesn't hit.
This could not be further from the truth you just have to aim it a little better and potentially put urself in a little more danger to hit a full charge slash
@Pj-lb5ln I've had people slide under the slash because I aimed chest high on it, when you do jungle you can't stand next to the mob to hit them all, it's fucked
u can parry bebop uppercut now
But Yoshi already confirmed that's a bug.
Add chapters to the video pls
Getting huge balls for little investment sounds like a dream…
thanks
Love the idea of being able to parry abilities in the future if they could implement that feature
Thinking about an eye-frame freeze when you parry in the air, being unhittable for 0,5 sec - would be awesome
bing bong deathys comments and inputs lets get this bread!!! (information wars)
I don’t like how they put ranked and casual into one
I think they just want to focus on developing the game. of course at some point it will go back to normal
The game should have never had ranked yet. Makes no sense with all the testing Valve is doing imo.
The game already has hidden MMR for a long time, and it impacted your initial rank placement.
I always confused why they need to separate the queue when both modes already shared the same rank queue.
Idk I don’t like this game enough to play seven matches by myself with the absolute freaks
Shiv was pretty damn strong not sure about the buffs lol should have been nerfed honestly, they kinda nerfed viscous pretty hard with that parry lol
Make Yamato great again
Hopefully death ball meta comes back
8 minutes of moba laning into the next 12 minutes being overwatch. i loved it so much. My favorite was losing to team comp diffs alone
Are people still playing? It had started to feel like the game was going to lose its momentum before even leaving alpha o_O
In my experience, none of my friends who didn’t have a ton of time to play enjoy this game at all.
@@OSborneCox My friends and I really liked Deadcock, but with only one map it was hard to stay engaged. Imo it feels like a better *designed* Overwatch, but an Overwatch missing more than half of its player retention content is going to struggle.
That's because you people have the attention span of a fruit fly
Idk what they did i had the worst matched ever today which made me uninstall the game frr
Ranked needs to be separate
Personally, I feel like they added ranked a bit early. At this point, the focus should be on improving the game and getting feedback, and adding a ranked mode gave the impression that the game was more complete than it was. With the fairly small playerbase the game currently has, splitting the queue led to fairly unbalanced matches, especially in smaller regions like OCE. But I agree that removing that feature probably feels bad to a lot of players, hence the pretty harsh backlash in the past day
100% agree.
I feel like they only did this because the playerbase is dwindling and they want the queues to be lumped together to get better data
Literally everyone disagrees with you
On the short term the matchmaking need to be improved, something like 30% of the games have been an unbalanced stomp for me. So only one queue makes sense, until player base is larger.
I think the psychological effect of ranked play is important.
I was had a break like 1 month and came back and the game is sooo freaking shit Ive ever seen We are taking the guys play agressivley and guys have more money than us. We are playing passive and only doing objective and taking creeps still the opponent have much more money than us. How tf can I produce fkn money ın this game the game is shit now I dont know how to play and the game doesnt know himself also the game is shit
HATE they removed ranked , there not more : carrot . since we have nothing to unlock , Ranked was the only thing to : follow .
now there nothing
Wrong. Did you watch or read the patch? Unranked is ranked now. You get a rank.
Ranked was only implemented it seems like to figure out skill brackets, ratings, do a quick test, and then tune their skill based matchmaking. It's an alpha.
@@nicobay4512 I’m curious, did you play the game before ranked came out?
If all your enjoyment comes from climbing ranks, and not the gameplay, maybe this ain't the game for you.
@@GOOBENsticks Don’t tell people how to enjoy the game. However you’re kinda right in the sense that the playtest is probably not the right time to be playing this game if you really care about tanked and competitive integrity
Ranked mode that they introduced last month was clearly a test for them, don't always take it seriously.
I like that they make normal match finally reveal your rank instead of using this so called "hidden MMR" that already exists for months.
Game kinda sucks right now
I’m legit gonna quit the game till they revert this update. Individual hero mmr is stupid you don’t magically lose game sense playing a new hero. Ranked is removed if you can’t see the match ranks your in then it’s pointless mix of people trying and not
you can see the average skill level of the lobby after the game. it now prevents you from looking at who has the lowest elo in order to flame them, or if enemy, target them for freelo.
you dont lose gamesense, but you might know know how exactly the abilities work. you are less good at things you dont do as often usually. thats just kind of a normal fact of life idk man. if you quit over ranked being removed from an alpha, i guess goodbye till release?
Aight bye
dota already does this hero mmr, also eventually after some days the mmr is gonna sort it self out so less games with people not understanding stuff
@@runetube93 buddy an eternus player will curb stomp any lower rank playing a hero for the first time. The game has been in early access for like a year now excuse for this dumb of an update
