I just started watercolor painting yesterday! Your tutorials are my go-to Mako, thank you for creating content for beginners like me :) I have a question though, I see people directly mixing colors together in their pans and I am worried it will stain the color the next time I use it, how do you fix this?

Use a wet brush and lift the upper paint from the pan and then clean the brush and repeat until your paint is clean... This always works for me

Your paintings are always so inspiring 😍! I tried it three times (funny how the first try was the most convincing eventually 😅) but I've figured out my issue: I lay out too much water. So I try to wait until the shine dulls a bit, but then it dries super quickly. Might come from my paper 🤔

Lovely painting of clouds! I wonder why they make up such silly names for synthetic pigments! It is hard enough when they use natural elements for pigment names. I think you are trying to say “in den three een ” or “in den throne” it’s silly to include confusing silent letters, both are the same basic element just copyright protected under different, yet similar names! I do enjoy watching and listening to your videos, thank you for sharing your expansive knowledge with us. You are truly inspirational and a joy as well.
