    It's been a long time since I last visited your channel. I remember during my highschool days, I usually watch your videos which helped me a lot in my watercolor journey!! But I got busy as time goes on so I haven't touched my watercolors in a while.
    I am a freshman in architecture student now and I forgot some of the basics in watercolor that I lost some of my confidence... That's why here I am! I'm glad that you're still making videos. Keep it up!!!! 😊❤️

    At first i thought I needed as many colors as possible. Then I got overwhelmed. So I bought just a set of primary colors. Then I got blended colors muddy. So I bought 20-color sets. Non watercolor paper, even after applied a layer of watercolor medium paste, still doesn’t function well. I bought student grade paper is big size to cut into A4 size to doodle. I bought quite a few brushes from big swiping ones to tiny brushes and everything in between. I got really overwhelmed, like having every size and function golf clubs but not able to use any club well. I thought I needed big belly brush to have enough paint but color got out of control. I switched to slimmer brush, only to run out of paint too early. Don’t get me started on masking fluid. That whole endeavor was super frustrating.

  • @mkr3976
    @mkr3976 Год назад

    In your brush set there were two brushes with dual tips I mean there was a fine tip and slightly thicker tip .what kind of those brushes are? I have never seen such brushes

    • @Makoccino
      @Makoccino  Год назад

      This is a liner brush by da Vinci, it has this belly that feeds the tip with water/paint :) So it's similar to the liner brush I showed and used in the video, but has this extra belly to hold more water and paint!

    I love the video & really appreciate the approach.... but your website has me about ready to scream. I would very much like to get the guides, but there's no link to anything but the privacy policy. It says by submitting my email I agree to terms, and there's nowhere to do that, either. Is it me, am I missing something? Where are the LINKS?? Buttons? Newsletter?

    • @Makoccino
      @Makoccino  Год назад

      Glad you're enjoying it! Unfortunately due to EU regulations you need to agree the terms on the website regarding the cookies etc to even see the forms 😕 So if you accept the terms, you should be able to see the lines where you can enter your email. The note should pop up when you land on the page, it says "privacy preferences" and you need to accept all to see the fields. Please let me know if it still doesn't work. On my backend it seems like it works for others, but I want to make sure that it works for everybody. So thank you for letting me know!

    Hi Mako do you know why that aches paper isnt bright white. I dont like to paint on off white it makes my art not right. Whats your thought and advice on this?

    • @Makoccino
      @Makoccino  Год назад

      I don't mind it at all as I don't see a huge difference and I actually prefer the natural white of it! :) The Saunders Waterford is even more yellowish but I like the look of it too. But I believe you can get both in white as well but I haven't tested those! These are most likely bleached to make them more white

    • @chantalmassin1756
      @chantalmassin1756 Год назад

      Oh ok I dont want bleach either I want all natural. Also I got some schmincke wc and love them. The price was on sale so I grabbed them. Lol I will also do you your challenges. Thanks for always helping me. Hugs
