You have some good info man ... Don't stop! Keep learning, sharing and improving in your delivery of content and freight eheh Big shout out from Portugal!!
I was thinking of getting back into the courier business. But after watching this video I'm going to stick with driving Uber Eats. But on another note that promaster is the perfect size van to use as a medical courier. Medical couriers routes pay very well. Check it out, wish you well.
Excellent my young brother, thank you very much for breaking it all down, in detail, about your experience. I'm a very OG and I need to get something going and this looks very do able. Please stay safe our there and I will be following you
Man...you really sharing a lot of game, I literally took notes lol. You should offer coaching to ppl and make extra money. I’m an independent courier but I use a regular car...I’m a week into it. It’s cool, but I’m debating on upgrading to a cargo van. Do you have any advice on when I should start my business or should I still stay a regular courier and gain more experience?
Hannah Townsley Before starting a business first, find companies you are interested in contracting with and make sure the numbers make sense. Figure out what type of vehicle you need because some jobs will allow you to continue using your car or SUV. Make sure you have some cash saved up and buy your equipment using cash only. No need to get a big van payment and you find out a year or so that you don’t want to do the business anymore plus maintenance and fuel, just set aside funds to pay cash. The most important thing is to put some numbers together and make sure the math adds up.
Just subscribed--I really like the way you break it all down, nice and simple. Do you often have to load and unload your loads yourself? And, does Dispatchit prohibit you from subcontracting, and bringing a helper? I'm pretty strong for a gal but I unfortunately now have a bad arm; it limits me. But I hate sitting at a desk, and I used to drive deliveries as an employee, and loved the workday. Advice?
As someone who have worked a warehouse job for years and is currently considering becoming an independent courier, I can say two big assets to always have is a good dolly and back brace. It will help a lot. If its a big box truck then a dolly and a pallet jack is a plus to move loads out quickly.
Thank you for the breakdown of the jobs. Loved it. Great video, the only thing i didnt like was the music. Im not trying to be negative, it it was distracting. Thanks again and God bless.
Great Video brother what part is Az are you in? I got in as independent medical courier, using my car 02 Toyota Camry! This my first week, the deadhead time is a real thing. Looking forward to payment of invoice. Keep doing your thing much success to you brother. Peace Family.
Due good vibes love you bro am local mon thru Friday 6am to 5pm as a CDL driver I made $2100 men god is good men and I just lost my job with someone else I was driving for but other door open for me when I tell you trust in god
Thanks for all the insight & game. I really want to get into this business but the Commercial Insurance is too expensive. Can anyway speak on this topic?
Are there odd jobs for people who move through the interstate with a truck rental? I'm renting a box truck to pick up some things from Indiana to Massachusetts and back. It's a business trip and the truck will have lots of left over room on the way back. Interested in hauling goods for people/businesses for a fee. Is there a Door Dash service for this kind of thing?
No good. Just last weekend with Uber eats I made $290,6 hr shifts. Gas was $10 a day . So I that's a net of $270. Yes my Uber vehicle is paid off & I own the title. Its a Monte Carlo 💨
You might be right. But he did say it was his 1st week. So maybe it gets better when he learns the system & build relationships to get the right type of runs. A box truck may be a better investment though.
@@TT-jc8qg Exactly!!! What these people fail to realize is that I started my first week on a Wednesday!!! Not Monday-Friday! I made way more than that in a week as I got more experience. These guys always trying to judge a rookie like they never had to start from the bottom before.
Go on Craigslist and search courier, independent contractor, delivery jobs. Just apply and start driving. The company will have an app you download and you can accept deliveries, or you sometimes notify dispatch you are open for deliveries.
@@Mr_Tez20 get that money man. And don't let a company get over on you. You're providing the vehicle, gas, insurance, time and all other expenses. All they're doing is dispatching it to you. The company I signed with, said 60/40 split, I got up and was leaving and they asked what the problem was, and I told them I'm rooting the bill for all the expenses, and I wasnt about to give them 40%. We settled at 80/20
These numbers not even worth doing this stuff. Am I high or you said you were paid 27 your 1st load and then paid 21 dollars in gas???? You made 6 dollars bro???? And that’s a good day??? Am I trippen
Your sincerity is the key here. You speak from your mind and heart. Not from a script. I salute you for for making it so straightforward.
Very informative! I'm starting my own courier business glad I came across this video.
