During the interview, this particular segment was indeed included in our discussion; however, it did not ultimately find its place in the final edit, as determined by our creative director and editor. It's worth noting that a significant portion of our filmed content does not make it into the final product. Nevertheless, we did make sure to mention in the video description that Andrew comes from a family with a strong entrepreneurial background. His brother had his own trucking business, and his parents had previously owned various businesses, including one within the trucking industry.
I own a small trucking company and decided to buy 2 additional used but almost new (2019) trucks after being in business for 4 years using financing and I still had to put down a $45,000 down payment. There is no way a 17 year old kid got a $0 down payment loan for 2 semi trucks, with no CDL experience.
@UncleHaiderr that's very dependent on the type of trucking you are doing. Over the road can vary wildly from 15k a month to over 50k a month before expenses and taxes. It's very dependent on what type of trailer you have, and what type of cargo you can haul. If you work in the oil field you can make more per month, but it also depends on what state you're working in, in North Dakota, you'll make the most. I have worked jobs where you can make 20k per month pretty easily, all the way up to 70k per month. All before expenses and taxes, of course. If you do over the road, reefer or box vans are the most reliable, so since it's all year round. But they pay probably the least. If you can do flatbed or low boy, those will pay a lot more, but they can also be dependent on the seasons. If you get your own truck, either research a top notch broker, or find a really good load board that you can work with.
Wow. This is amazing. The fact that this "kid" knows who Jim Rohn is and has gotten so much wisdom from hasn't even been alive during this kids life. WOW. That's impressive.

Tires fuel insurance. Maintenance repairs. One tire is like $500 you have 10 on a horse and steers have to be new no recaps so they cost more. If you have trailers they have 8. Truck holds like 300 gallons so $1200 to fill gonna fill every other day at minimum so 6 to 800 every other day. Insurance is high. Amazon isn’t known for paying well either. Driver wants $1800 a week at minimum

That is what separated him from the rest, including me. I Pray God continues to bless and prosper this young man and use. Him to continue providing and helping others... 🙏
Still didn’t answer how he got the first 2 trucks, and first loads. You can’t go into a dealership with a business plan on how you’ll afford the truck. How did you have credit at 17? A co-signer? I’m guessing you had some help, which is awesome, but disclose the truth
If you get a loan in your name with a co-signer it’s still YOUR loan. Yes it help to have parents or family with good credit but I would bet most people have someone in their life that has decent credit and would trust you to co sign on a loan if you came to them with a solid business plan.
Correct, even if someone cosigns for him its litterally a big help, because you need to have someine who have money just in case he cant make the loan the co signer pays. So either way good for him, i wished i had help like this, but people are so selfish these days and arrogant

So many people in their teen years (myself included) don’t think about their future, or they think “I want to be wealthy” but aren’t making a plan to get there. People need to realize that they can start really young and be successful very early in their lives, just like this young man. Entrepreneurship consists of going out and doing it, don’t just sit there and be wishing, then you start asking “how does a 17yrs old purchase two trucks ” just like most people in this comment section. If only I knew the things I know today, at the age of 17. Maybe this video will give a young person motivation to start their own business early on and become successful early. You don’t have wait till 4ty to get sense! Life is not a joke.

I'm an O/O and had to get out of hauling freight, because I couldn't even cover the cost of fuel. It's ok. I finally found a different industry besides freight hauling and am watching my business grow. I wouldn't want to be liable to any bank which is what he's doing.
Hauling certainly isn't everyone's cup of tea, but it seems the perfect blend for him. We're thrilled that you've found your path, too! Best of luck with your business endeavors! 👊
so 95 trucks doing 1.9 million per month. That comes out to 20.000 dollars per truck per month and at 5% profit that is $1000 profit per month. I can see how one tire blown will take your profit away for that one truck. Keep up the great work brother. God bless
if its really 5% profit margin or $1k per month per truck, that is a joke.....i mean a vending machine could probably make half of that in profits per month easy.
Right it’s crazy and sound like bad business honestly. He has a lot of overhead in his company with all new trucks. And it sound like he’s care more about getting a bigger company and not profit margin. He has 95 all new over $150k that’s over $15 million debt.i wonder how he charging for the load sound like he’s moving it somewhat cheap
The fact that he's basically given out the blue print to do this shows alot from this guy, I pray he becomes wealthy and God blesses him, he's really out here trying to help others make it😊😊😊

I disagree. Anyone can do what he did, we’re just impatient, unknowledgeable about business and don’t know how to budget, set realistic goals to get there. Many drivers still don’t know how to manage money. He even gave you something for free, buy land and charge drivers and local companies to park their trucks there for $100 to $200 a month. He maybe young but he has the skill, determination and work ethic of a guy that's been in the business for 40 plus years. And for the people saying, "How can a 17 year old purchase 2 Trucks?" First off he was starting a BUSINESS that generates MONEY. Second he has a BUSINESS plan. When approaching a Bank for a business loan they want to know HOW ARE YOU GOING TO PAY BACK THE LOAN in a timely mannor that's both beneficial to BOTH PARTIES. He may have gotten turned down multiple times who knows. At the end of the day the guy is out here working hard for his dream and his future which should be an inspiration to both young and old generations.
Agreed. Regardless of this man's situation, he not making excuses to delay his hustle and has a great work ethic and hustle mentality. May this kid be an inspiration to all the generations before AND after him
I mean, you can see it from MILES, the way he stands, the way he converse, the way he clearly express himself about his business, his presentation is flawless. Imagine this type of discipline and motivation at that age, i was messing around at bars, on my phone, etc. Inspirational.
So much hate. Yeah hes got a family. Kid knows his stuff. Respect him for his work ethics, Employing a bunch of people . Also good for him going his own way not just working for his families company which would have probably been easier. He also wants to be a minister. Kid is a Breath of fresh air!
Thank you so much for what you do. You inspired me to make my own startup so I made an SEO Agency and I already have made it profitable in less than a month!
Amazon 😂😂😂😂. In the winter, those are usually the trucks in the ditch. Usually older trucks driven by foreigners. This business hasn’t been lucrative for a year now. Too much capacity from everyone buying trucks. Not enough freight. Freight rates are rock bottom now. If you’re using the spot market, good luck ! This story glosses over a lot of information.
Look. I know we are all baffled at how he got financing for 2 semi trucks as a 17 year old kid, but just listening to him tells me he is light years ahead of his time.
So many low vibration types in the comments missing the point entirely. They’re talking about how he came from a trucking family etc must have had help from Daddy etc The crucial thing his parents gave him wasn’t good credit. The determining factor to his success is he was raised with faith in God. He was taught to treat people right and be a man of his word. The reality is Haulage is expensive and risky and the margins are awful. To survive requires a warriors mindset, but to scale and grow like this kid has done… the lad is an absolute savage. A true inspiration.
Even if that were the case, he is working hard, and you can see it. He knows what he is doing and is doing it well. Now he's even showing it to us. What the heck are you complaining about? I would take advantage of my parents if I had the chance, lmao.
I went out on the yacht of the owner of First Fleet Trucking once. This was about 18-19 years ago. I believe they are a pretty similar business model from what I understood of his business.
I mean congrats kid but as a small fleet owner I hate seeing videos like this. You’re telling me a 17 year old kid got approved for not 1 but 2 trucks with zero down?? I’ve never gotten a deal like that and I’ve been in business for years
Me and a friend of my have talked about starting a trucking business. He is a driver with a few years in the trucking world and I drove trucks in the Army. I alsso have some leadership courses under my belt from the army to act more of a manager role and he have the experience in trucking.

Absolutely! With your experience, diving into this business idea sounds like a fantastic move. Wishing you all the success, and we'd love to hear about your progress in a few months! Keep hustling! 💪
No hate and I love success stories but there’s no way a 17 yr old walks out of a dealer with 2 trucks and 0 down. On the other hand nobody just buys 2 trucks and put drivers on them without having a good amount of money backing you up. You get 1, drive the hell out of it yourself and maybe then you can scale up. This moves demand thousands of dollars. A LOT OF MONEY. Is not as easy and surely there is more to this story that he’s not telling us. Iykuk🙂 If everything he said is true then he really is blessed one in a million.
I agree, I'm in the industry. Video is motivating but not realistic, especially if you live in Cali. He definitely has help, especially at 17 at age. I don;t care what business plan you have. The truck and insurance itself is a ton of money just to start.
He failed to mention how his dad or mom had 99.999% to do with his success. He didn’t start with no money at age 10 and plan and save for 7 years before buying 2 trucks lol im sure his dad had trucks and sold it to him for cheap. And he bought it with the money his dad had saved for him😎 he didn’t start from the bottom but it’s still cool he was smart enough to follow in his folks footsteps and buy the trucks.
2015 must have been good for entrepreneurs
Wow. This is amazing. The fact that this "kid" knows who Jim Rohn is and has gotten so much wisdom from hasn't even been alive during this kids life. WOW. That's impressive.
Dude definitely grew up around a business oriented family you can tell just by the way he speaks and the knowledge he has. I hope he does well.
@user-pl8pn2it7j Right on. Family guidance and support is a key factor that is often not mentioned.
His family owns Gomez Hauling so I can see that playing a huge factor (obtaining Insurance & the trucks) Regardless good for him 👍
How do you know?
Not sure if they still live here in San Antonio but their hauling business was definitely based out here in TX.
I’m sure if you Google them you will find a family picture plus their last name initial is literally on both of the company names loll
@farkasrichard6311 because no bank will give u commercial credit at 17. U try . His family co sign. A way of transferring $$ to your kid without been taxed. But he is a great man to run a business instead of drugs or been a gamer
@@octapeter3129 Thank You for your answer ;)
That’s correct daddy helped him . No such thing as self made .
How did he do it?
He didn't, that's how... Not at 17 he didn't, a 17 year old can't legally enter into a binding contract. So either he didn't, or it was under a parents name. Plain and simple. Now stop lying for views.
so what if he did it in his parents name he’s still the one doing it while your tryna downplay a kid’s success in a youtube comment section
@hfgsfdartdd No, he didn't. His parents did. So quit trying to enable this Misinformation. Some dumbsht will go in debt trying some make believe bullsht that he seen on some fake ass video.
@@hfgsfdartdd it's all fake az sht... first of all, according to the FMCSA that company only has 35 trucks as of 5-28-24, five months after this video was published.. so stop trying to quantify this straight up bullsht.
People drive for years before they can become owner operators, and can finance their truck. This kid started working at 10?
You can be emancipated at 16 with your parents approval at which point you can sign contracts.. He still didn’t build anything, he simply was handed a new division within his daddy’s company.. All CAP…
This kid was given his biz along with the knowledge to grow it
Such a knowledge dude! I’m in the process of starting my own trucking company and this gives me hope.
Same here looking for where to hire a very good Truck. Damn urgent!
I know of a trusted one that can rent you any type of long Truck...

No matter what family wealth this kid came from, they only showed him the door. He has made himself successful. He speaks about some very powerful influences from reading.
No one gave him insurance at 17! Its an backup company for Gomez Haulers, he's just the face for his parents 2nd company
Correct, even if someone cosigns for him its litterally a big help, because you need to have someine who have money just in case he cant make the loan the co signer pays. So either way good for him, i wished i had help like this, but people are so selfish these days and arrogant
@@Lazer-yi6qg It's still impressive having access to such a signature...who in their right mind would co-sign with a 17 year old?? Sure there are mature 17 year olds but it's still risky.

This man made it and is gona help alot of people and is honest and deserved it for sure after all his hard work and dedication. Congrats bro learned a lot in this video . Thanks !
We're glad this video gave you valuable insights and a boost of motivation! 💪
I’m curious on who his underwriter was for his commercial insurance for his authority. I was in my 30’s with a clean driving record and for a new authority it was still pretty high.
For box truck business I tried starting per month was over 10k. No accidents I'm 30 young and a clean driving record. Just for insurance not including truck rental cost per month.
I just went straight with progressive because they were the only ones who would approve me
But you’re right Insurance was the reason that I didn’t pay myself anything for the first few years
Luckily, I didn’t have any Personal costs other than food and a gym membership?
I don’t believe this kid I been in Trucking40 years ,,if it sounds to good it is,to many ifs Insurance at 17 you have no credit so I just think it’s to far fetched 🙏❤️👍🤥🤥🦘🇦🇺🇺🇸😊
When mom and dad own a business they can talk their people into anything
I mean with all the cameras and stuff could be a reason his insurance is low. My personal car insurance is pretty cheap cause I have a dash cam
Love the privilege you get brother that’s amazing 🙏🏾❤️
Great Motivation!!!! Blessings AJG!

Good for him hope he is still doing well in this Market
He definitely does. 🙌
What a great kid! Good job!
I started my trucking business at 24
I followed Jim Rohn for over 7 years and absolutely love the classic guy
Good job 👏
I'm an O/O and had to get out of hauling freight, because I couldn't even cover the cost of fuel. It's ok. I finally found a different industry besides freight hauling and am watching my business grow. I wouldn't want to be liable to any bank which is what he's doing.
@dapper_gent what industry?
Hauling certainly isn't everyone's cup of tea, but it seems the perfect blend for him. We're thrilled that you've found your path, too! Best of luck with your business endeavors! 👊
Stop selling a dream. Next time, have them mentioned how his family has a background of the truck industry.
so 95 trucks doing 1.9 million per month. That comes out to 20.000 dollars per truck per month and at 5% profit that is $1000 profit per month. I can see how one tire blown will take your profit away for that one truck. Keep up the great work brother. God bless
No that is 1.9 a year
if its really 5% profit margin or $1k per month per truck, that is a joke.....i mean a vending machine could probably make half of that in profits per month easy.
As a 23 yo flatbed truck driver with ambitions , I love this young man whole heartedly ❤
Not Matter what kind of help he got for anyone, he still a genius.

Tell the whole truth, otherwise you are doing the opposite of inspiring people. No one can do what this kid did. NO ONE!
See what I mean.
Those who can, will. Those who can’t, won’t. However, a few can-and will.

You gotta have a CDL to buy truck if you finance them. At the time when he bought them this body of Freightliner was pretty fresh, so it would cost at least 80-100K a piece. He has family behind him and he is the face of the company. But good for him
They gave a 17 year old with zero down 2 trucks??? This story is fiction.

Why is everyone in the comment section thrashing the kid? Who cares if its his dad money? You've got a valid point. The real question has always been, what will you do with the resources you have at your disposal? ☺️
Fact. Better see this one success in business than the one that playing video games.
That’s what parents are their for 🎉
We care because it’s not being truthful about his start. If my parents had any sort of money when I was 17 to 19 when I graduated, I feel it would’ve helped me be in a better position in life. Help really matters.
@@vtec224I’ll tell you this, I’m 31 , and I wouldn’t not blow through a million. Simply because the life lessons I’ve endured have taught me the value of a dollar. So I’d seek out ways to grow a large portion of the money, after paying off some debts.
Wow. I never expected to see him here. I applied for the Trucking Logistics Tracker position at his company a month ago, but I didn't get any updates after the interview. So, I moved on to another company, where I applied and now currently work as a Truck Dispatcher again.
Curious how the interview went! 🤔
Even though I'm not a truck driver, I'd still work for this guy in a heartbeat

Ok realistically speaking as someone with 22 years in banking and finance, something not adding up here. I had to listen to see if i was missing anything. At 17 we are not gonna give you that loan son, you gotta come real good. He had to have some serious backing/mentoring & support. I now see that his family is in the trucking business, so i could see he has experience whilst growing up..he is VERY knowledgable of the daily operation & industry as a whole. But they should mention he grew up in this kind of business....bring a sense of reality to things
What a business success so far, it's always empowering to see entrepreneurs solve and exceed 👍🏼👍🏼

In the winter, those are usually the trucks in the ditch. Usually older trucks driven by foreigners.
This business hasn’t been lucrative for a year now. Too much capacity from everyone buying trucks. Not enough freight.

So many low vibration types in the comments missing the point entirely. They’re talking about how he came from a trucking family etc must have had help from Daddy etc
The crucial thing his parents gave him wasn’t good credit.
The determining factor to his success is he was raised with faith in God. He was taught to treat people right and be a man of his word.
The reality is Haulage is expensive and risky and the margins are awful.
