"We didn’t make a big jump, we made a lot of little ones" - True! Highlights the importance of small and steady progress. Success is built on consistent effort and small achievements. This is great video! Thanks!
“We didn’t make a big jump, we made a lot of little ones”. Is the realest it gets. No one sees the hard work behind the curtains, until the success is bigger than itself.
"Its been 40 years... We didn't make a big jump, we made a lot of little ones" This is fantastic advice. You don't even have to necessarily be an entrepreneur to put it in practice either.
I agree...fantastic advice that can applied in many ways. Sometimes our small jumps can lead us to be positioned to make the big jumps we haven't imagined yet.
Small jumps only require small risks, big jumps take big risks. We can see alot of people who take small jumps over a long period of time do well. We also see people who take big jumps do really well. What we don't look at are the failures, classic survivorship basis. I imagine if you take this guy's advice your life has a very good chance to be fruitful and happy, you take some crypto guru advice or gamble your money you're almost guaranteed to fail. The most important advice though is just to try being a entrepreneur, the chances of getting hit by lightning are small. Right up until you decide to hike up a mountain in the rain. Remember that people.
The thing about overnight success is that it takes a long damn time. People always forget the time that went by where people make lots of small jumps. They only remember the part after the system starts to return.
I've worked in several places that do not value their employees like this man, and boy, you can tell the difference right off. Employees are your MOST VALUABLE ASSET!! Loyalty is everything. Total respect.
I worked in construction all my life. This guy recognizing his employees like that filled my hearth with pride and joy. He is a real leader. I would bust my ass for a boss like that.
Every employee ever has said that and are constantly complaining. But upper management doesnt see it like this. They only see numbers. And for most, you are exactly that, a number, not more. They see you as an easily replaceable asset.

Building wealth from nothing involves consistent saving, disciplined spending, and strategic investments. Begin by creating a budget to track expenses and identify areas for savings. Prioritize paying off high-interest debt and establishing an emergency fund. As you build a foundation, start investing in low-cost options like index funds, and focus on continuous learning and improving your skills for better income opportunities.

This guy gives off such wholesome vibes. The thing that really encapsulated his attitude for me was his misunderstanding of the phrase "Shit rolls downhill" - an expression that usually means that if your boss is in trouble they will try to palm it off to their subordinates. This is fantastic advice. You don't even have to necessarily be an entrepreneur to put it in practice either.
😂and then 5-seconds later “HOW TO BECOME A MILLIONAIRE IN 48 HOURS!”
I agree...fantastic advice that can applied in many ways. Sometimes our small jumps can lead us to be positioned to make the big jumps we haven't imagined yet.
It is indeed the small jumps. Always aiming for a big jumps promotes procrastination, burnout, and stopping at failure

The thing that really encapsulated his attitude for me was his misunderstanding of the phrase "Shit rolls downhill" - an expression that usually means that if your boss is in trouble they will try to palm it off to their subordinates. The fact he thinks the expression is the opposite of this says so much about him - that it should be the boss that deals with the problems, not the one palming off the problems to those below themselves.
I think he meant that he hired competent people so that the "shit" doesn't reach him anymore since the people under him know how to fix it
u must be either bot or a kid
Anybody who says vibe and wholesome can't be taken seriously
Misunderstanding. Lol
So you fell for that one lol you all need some street smarts.
I can relate. I started earning money at 15 and fortunately saved most of what I earned and kept that mindset. With those savings I built a couple of apartments to rent, then reinvested in more apartments, then business places and I kept going. I'm not as rich as this guy but my family and I are all set for life. We can travel and get anything we want. All because I decided at a young age that I was going to save like crazy.
I appreciate that buddy. In this generation they're busy cause they are trying to show on social medial how much money they make, an ego battle. It is what I want for me. Honest work and give a good life quality to my family.
sorry buddy but you would not be able to do that today. im glad you and your family are safe but people like you (there were millions of them) have contributed to young people these days having the worst housing crisis ever seen in modern times. back then you could buy or build a house for 3~ years of savings, now you need 10-20 just for a down payment
@@feluto7172 I hear you, but there is always something you can do. The noticeable thing about anyone with success is that they have taken advantage of their opportunities. So, while it is true that you may not be able to do what he did in real estate, there are things in your life that are available to you. Even people with nothing have opportunities that can improve their lives, even if just a little bit. It's about being prepared and courageous enough to take advantage of them when they present.
This guy right here understood it. He got it. If every CEO had this man’s mindset and admiration for his own employees, people would actually take pride in their day jobs and not get burnt out after just a couple years. Working for a company where you feel like you’re basically invisible and your opinion and contributions don’t matter, will begin to eat away at you. Would love to work for this guy.
If you don’t mind crawling around in a crawl space all,day with dead mice and snakes
Can't deny the fact that Abel Dorsey is the strongest bet to bring power back to this industry after we suffered FTX, Celsius, Tera and so on. Sure if they fail it's done for good, but I don't see that the biggest tech company in the world would put everything at risk just for that.
All the world needs much more of these kind of hard working intelligent humble men.
Amazing video. Guy seems extremely humble and family oriented which shows in the way he speaks about his employees.
well deserved!!! loved how he talked, no ego , and respect his workers and everyone ells.
hope he will takeover amazon
One of the best videos on business ever made!! And I watch a lot of content. The quality of this guy Larry is on a whole other level. He’s calm, collective and in the present moment
Imagine if all ceos and bosses and managers where this humble and passionate about what they do
And actually listening to there employees like this
If that makes you happy, why not? I know a guy (former customer) who made millions rebuilding and restoring trucks and running a trucking company... until he retired he almost everyday worked in the shop, getting his hands greasy because that made him happy... he had the brains and was able to put the right people in place to run the company so he could work with the boys.
I am from Miami United State🇺🇸, The difference Mrs Lucy Mary Liam makes in my life is second to none it's definitely a life changing kindness. I really appreciate her effort in my life.
Seeing my broker talked on RUclips, This was exactly how I got the recommendation about her for the past years. Hit $200k today. Thank you for all the knowledge and nuggets you had thrown my way over the last months. Started with $20k in July 2024
I'm from Brazil 🇧🇷 I and two other of my friends tried her immediately we testified her performing wonders.
Her good strategies of making large amount weekly profits for her clients are totally outstanding. Investing my $1500 with doubt and withdrawing $12,300 with happiness. I ❤️ you Lucy.
Thanks to my co_worker who suggested Mr Lucy Mary Liam to me
I’m favoured, $27k every week! I can now give back to the locals in my community and also support God’s work and the church. God bless Mrs Lucy Mary Liam also God bless America.
Technical classes in highschool are awesome. Need more of those. I took electrical technology (electrician / electrical engineering path) and learned a lot. Got a summer job doing electrical work and gained valuable experience. I didn't choose that path, but it improved my understanding of how the world works. Kids need these practical skills and perspectives.
Imagine high school preparing you to start your own business, rather than only preparing you to go into lifelong debt for college so you’re stuck working for someone else.
@@LuckyCharms777 Exactly. Love the way you framed it. A skill based business is definitely a more powerful position to start adult life with for most people. And you can always do continuing education on the side to level up general knowledge or get degrees as you work and earn.
In New York the democratic politicians did away with all the trade school programs for kids in the inner city teaching them skills that can make them independently wealthy. These politicians today don't want our youth truly educated
I did the same path but i stayed on it and now im a maintenance technician/electrical engineer in a chem cleaning company at 23 and once i started to work here i still feel like ive missed alot of stuff to learn about especially with my hands
I was a very smart kid (went to top uni's and unfortuneatly became a lawyer)....in high school guidence counsler calls me down asking why I am taking auto and metal shop if I am applying to top schools....it will hurt your chances....my response...only classes I am learning anything
When I was 12 I said I would never work for a boss and I haven't. I started my own business and is doing alright. This guy, I wouldn't mind working for him. He doesn't strike me as the 'boss' man but a leader who values his guys. You my man, I hope you all the best may you even become wealthier than you already are and grow your business even more and hire more people. You're a true example of how a leader should be. You have my respect without even meeting you
How did this guy know how to build a house at 17? I have a son and man would I love for him to have a skill like that at 17.
Just saw the part about vocational high school.
This guy is a humble genius. 32 patents??? Get me some of those motivational tapes!!
It was a lot easier back then, no strict building codes or permits, you basically could just buy a bunch of wood and nails and with a saw and hammer you're good to go.
@@joshuadalton6063 You hear this a lot. Big company's that started in the 80's couldn't start again now. The rules are strickt, licences , permits.... Materials are way more expensive, labor is way more expensive. Now it's impossible for an 18yr old to build a house with his 17 and 14 yr old brother.
@@Barthoization Well not off the grid in some place no-one will see it or bother you about it, but yeah not in any city or town any more.
Houses back then were built with wood, paper and nails.
@@Barthoization He can certainly learn to do alot of things though, including trades.
Great to see that he invests in his workers, not just equipment. And I have the feeling that anyone can speak with him, the way it should be.
Larry is an awsome dude to be around as it seems. We can learn a lot from him, not only business also personal. Thats the difference.
How can you not like this guy?! He is an inspiration. I have a tech background and also run a contracting company. Without people in the trades, we have no society and definitely no tech jobs. Who’s going to lay the fiber cables, climb the cell towers, maintain the facilities, keep the water running? The list goes on and on.
Exactly the reason why Germany has so many world market leading companies. The mindset is not profit first. It is about innovation, valuing employees as assets, etc.
A couple decades ago I worked for a German owned company here in America. You are so right about them valuing their employees.
We built world class machines and put our heart into doing our very best as they would do their best to make us feel appreciated.
Yeah and how they founded all those leading companies? I think you should check how Bayer, Porche or Volkswagen started off.
@farariri I wonder what triggered you that you had to play the Nazi card. I am glad that your country has a perfect record.
I'm literally overwhelmed, You are a blessing to the world. I can't thank you enough Abel Dorsey for helping me with my account recovery. My prayers will always be with you and your team. Keep it up guys. Love from Maldives. There are many people out there I pray everybody get help.
You can see how genuine Larry is with regard to respect and appreciation of his fellow workers/employees. Enjoyed the wholesomeness of this video which is not something you would normally say when watching an interview of a billionaire.
How many billionaires are not good at sales.
I agree, it could be a well crafted act.@@portagepete1
I like him already! He SO nailed it when he said that what is more important than money is that he has made a positive impact on the world and will leave it better than he found it. Bingo.
I did not believe that after the whole FTX drama there's any good to get this year but Abel Dorsey proved otherwise. Bad timing maybe but it's a great adoption to get this more to the mainstream and raise awareness. Probably a high contender for a top 100 growth
Never ever give up on your dreams
This guy is the real deal. Has used his mind to it's full potential thanks to earl nightingale etc and maintained integrity and didn't listen to anyone just had unwavering faith it would work. Respect!!!!
Hard not to like someone who tells the truth about success… for a change.
I bought me some TSLA and SOFI last month. Some Investors are preaching buy the dip, some are selling without a concern should I too? I am asking because after a pretty good September I am up to 274k from 180k at the beginning of the 2nd quarter thanks to the likes of PLTR and NVDA.
the mirage caused by inflation is beginning to affect the mind of investors, studies found that investors undervalue stocks in the presence of high inflation just buy the dip, DCA with caution, maybe see an advisoor
Yes, it can also be brought down to the fact that Investors will make the same error, in reverse, when inflation and interest rates start to come down. That’s why a foundation of a major buy signal should currently being built.
Do your research and always speak with an advisor before putting your money in these crazy markets. Look online or around you for experienced ones, I can’t let someone who hasn’t lived through at least one depression give me advice.
That’s right. I work with a plannner, fixed income strategist and stock market analyst, Monica Mary Strigle. She has been interviewed on a lot of business videos and has an aum of over 500m usd.
Hi what is the fee you are charged for the services offered, did you pay any upfront fees for consulting? Because I just set up a consult and I am not sure what to expect back, thanks for ur prompt response.
Every CEO should talk to this guy.
I’m sorry but going from the “it’s been 40 years, okay?” mindset to the book ad at 5:19 was HILARIOUS 😂 I mean come on, I can’t imagine two more diametrically opposed success strategies
Yeah someone in editing didn't take note of that
What a great interview. A successful businessman who grinded and kept his family a priority. Much respect.
When you receive more than you put out you can take the weekends off.
What makes this man successful is his entire mindset and perspective! His driving force is NOT the money factor- His driving force is the people!!! The people he employs, his customers, people in general! The purpose of life was never to serve ourselves as most do; life’s purpose is to serve one another!
This guy is what is known as a "leader". Its one of the main reasons he's successful for sure.
Great personality and great thought process too.
Thanks for featuring him!
This guy is a genius. The way he praises his employees and pay them well. That guy understood everything it is to get to lead a business especially the type of business he is doing.
