@PeacefulPariah@@maggiefriedrichs777 This is stupid. Food poisoning from ice cubes originate from dirty water and/ or ice machines that are not cleaned regularly. Also they are putting flowers in the ice cube, what do you expect happens to them beforehand, I doubt that they are disinfected btw. the same holds true for basically any food you consume it is from nature there will be bacteria on it even pathogens food is never sterile, but that is not a problem. Also I doubt that that happens often since they run a luxury ice cube business and I am quite sure that hair in your product is bad for business.

This is making me hungry! 😊
@BusinessInsider You guys make some of the best quality, interesting and informative documentaries on the internet !! Legitimate congratulations and please keep producing your amazing content !! 👏🏆
Fabulous program , loved every product. Thanks.
Amazing channel, I really enjoy it, great learning experience, thank you!
More precious food concepts than a funky ass American Oscar Mayer bologna factory. 🌱>🏭
Brilliant video. Thank you :)
respect to the caviar company
42:55 It’s kind of hilarious to see QR codes on a type of cheese heavily embroiled in historical tradition…😆
The custom ice cube job is Cool. 🥶
I love videos like these!
Yeah. You don't feel the cold cause you're frozen. 😂😂😂😂
The caviar one is really mind blowing. How to process is take so long and LOT of investment 😅
judgmentcallpodcast covers this. helin-starred restaurants' global ingredient sources.
I love the matcha guy. He’s so precious 💚
He said “everyone knows WE have the best water and the best bagels!” He has an accent!? 🤔 hello from NYC 🍎 1:34
@Reina.Niijinsky said _"He said “everyone knows WE have the best water and the best bagels!” He has an accent!? 🤔 hello from NYC"_
Everyone in NYC has the same accent? I didn't realize that.
Fascinating and fantastic!

My dad dived for sea urchins when we went snorkeling. real spontaneous, didn’t tell no one. Just came up holding a few. And asked for a bag. And when he got in the boat, he asked for help eating them. Ate them, got the thorns stuck in a few of his fingers, it got infected, he neglected to get medication attention. Got sick. Was fine after a day. I think he ate the wrong part, not the thorn that made him sick.
Another very interesting video. It shows how far the wealthy will go for excellence and the companies that will make it happen. The ice company especially.
It’s disgusting wealth
Embarrassing wealth
Eat the rich🇺🇸✊🏻
@@donniekraus1273damn Donnie, calm down buddy. Most of the world is poor like us 😂
$17 for 2#'s of vanilla beans. He had much more than the 2#'s. I've paid up to $7 for just one vanilla bean in a glass bottle.
Very interesting. Thank you 👍
Great video! I often like to listen to documentaries while doing other things (especially when extra long like this one), so it would be nice to have the foreign language bits dubbed if it’s not too inconvenient.
every businessman need to be like the person who has Ice cube , knowing to be enough
Such an informative and interesting documentary.
He just said “New York city’s finest tap water” then the shows voiceover said “they start off by using filtered water”. WHICH IS IT? Lmao
Tap water is filtered ig
Yeah man, I noticed this as soon as the dude said it. I was like, depending on the filtering, you’re taking everything out of it.
…do you for some reason think tap water can’t be filtered? what is going on here
Tap water *_is_* treated after all
@ but then it’s not considered tap water. And I highly doubt they treat the water before making their ice. Just sounds like a good ol’ Freudian slip🧐lol
Very well-presented information. Everything is concise and to the point. Thank you!
Michelin is where people who never earned their money go to spend it😅
Thanks all, I learned a lot and I appreciate the sharing of open, intelligent, reasonable minds.
Great compilation 👍, I watch these good documentaries.
There were Sea Otters whom consumed alot of the sea urchin population keeping them in check. I understand there were kelp forests. Then why not re introduce Sea Otters from Seward and they will bring back the kelp forests that were definitely decimated by the sea urchins. Kelp is where Sea Otters and other animals that depend on them for protection from predators and the elements.😁
23:58 good luck with eutrophying the lake
"Another urshin is to blame", then explains how its proliferation came from the disappearance of sea stars. Disappearance caused by who ? You guessed it. We are to blame, not the freaking purple sea urshin...
Best episode ever! Iberian hamvtoo!!!! Now you're speaking my language.
I love the comment about the caviar company paying 3 times the minimum wage for their weavers, minimum wage in madagascar is 0.23 cents usd and hour, give them a pat on the back for paying them 0.69 cents usd an hour
Who knew ice was this interesting.
I love this channel so much!!
Madagascar produces the best Caviar and almost all of the Vanilla and it is one of the poorest nations on the Planet.
I don't feel that trickle down economics is working here.
Madagascar People need to start asking the producers of these expensive products where their benefits are.
THIS ^.
Anyone else here for the huge IRON MAIDEN Killers poster with Eddie holding a big ice cube? @ 3:52 🥶 hahaha 💙
Damn it i wanted to know how they got the flowers in the ice to stay where they were
I was thinking fishing leader and a framework .
@@philliplopez8745 or just gradually over time?setting them on the ice as it freezes?
@@pincushionllama don't think so . The water must be circulated in order to freeze transparent. It freezes from the outer edges into the center , not from the bottom up .
@@pincushionllamakind of, you freeze in layers if that makes sense
Nah, that's not how it works....
If people have enough money to pay $45,000 for a melon, good for them but in my opinion, I would rather donate money to a rescue center for animals, cancer research, etc...
The lack of sanitary conditions used by the ice cube maker was concerning. Ice is the number one culprit for food poisoning in the world.
Thank you. Hair nets. They are cutting ice while having free flowing hair. Clothing contact? I won’t be using any ice from this business.
@PeacefulPariah@@maggiefriedrichs777 This is stupid. Food poisoning from ice cubes originate from dirty water and/ or ice machines that are not cleaned regularly. Since ice tends to be quite cold there is also not a problem with bacteria growth from e.g. clothing (assuming they do not use the clothing exclusively in the freezer room (which they probably are)). Also they are putting flowers in the ice cube, what do you expect happens to them beforehand, I doubt that they are disinfected btw. the same holds true for basically any food you consume it is from nature there will be bacteria on it even pathogens food is never sterile, but that is not a problem.
I understand that hair in your ice/ food might be annoying but it is definitely not a hygienic problem. Also I doubt that that happens often since they run a luxury ice cube business and I am quite sure that hair in your product is bad for business.
I’m pretty sure it’s not number 1.
I’m pretty sure it’s not in the top ten or twenty
