Every time I lack motivation, I watch a Starter Story episode.
It’s surreal to be featured in one of them…
Thanks for telling me story much better than I could ❤
If there’s one takeaway, it’s to just start. You’ll figure the rest later.
And big thanks to Nikolas for all the camera work 🙏

I'm not usually one to comment on YT videos, but I felt the need to comment on this one. This has been, by far, one of the most inspirational entrepreneurship video I have ever watched, and that is because it's so realistic and doable. I'm on the same journey Marc has been in. Trying to create a software people will like and making money off of it. As you may have guessed, I have yet to succeed. At times, it makes me question my path; it makes me question whether those successful people have a secret ingredient they're not sharing. However, these days I've learned better. I've learned that consistency and effort is what matters. This video confirms my beliefs. It brings me so much hope and relief to see someone who has once been in the same place as me succeed. Thank you so much for this video!

My only question is who was supporting Mark? I mean - while he was building company - he states he's doing 1000 / mo., but he was at the same time able to afford living in Bali, flying back to France, get married on a nice wedding? Don't get me wrong - I sympathize a lot and also - I relate quite a bit, but it feels like part of the story and supporters is missing here. Much like CEO of big companies (I recently read a post) will proclaim they are on top of it, they work 9 to 5, then they take the dog for a walk, have 3 children, etc. But will not mention who is taking care of the children, laundry, homework, sick kids, etc. It just adds too much of expectations if half of the story is missing.

Probably his girlfriend. It’s also important to note that he was living abroad. $1,000 US dollars goes a lot more in other countries than it does in the states. I’m willing to bet Bali is pretty cheap compared to the U.S where a 1K a month is nothing.

Wow, I feel so identified here. I'm a developer, I made a nice app to help people use electricity better, and I'm stuck at promoting it. I started this youtube channel to share my meditation practice and to motivate myself with a side project. You're inspiring me to keep going with my business 🎉❤
