She does a concise setup, then concludes each question with an open-ended "who, what, when, where, or why." This is great traditional interviewing technique which enables the guest to jump right into the answer with a complete sentence without first having to untangle the confusion of a multiple choice or either/or question. 16:09 this segment she asked him 2 questions
why did it take a decade
what did this decade feel like
he only answered what the decade felt like. but he even then wasn't specific on what it looked like within Nvidia. it was a very hollow philosophical answer, and only an answer to 1 question
I am certainly cherry picking, this interview was excellent I just wish it was more seamless to watch and absorb everything mentioned, and that simply didn't happen at every point.

@@Unrealsensor idk, if a company can train an o1-competitive model for $5 million, why not instead try and spend $500 million on GPUs to train a model that's 100 times smarter than o1 is? Maybe the point of diminishing returns is right around the corner, but who's to say? Likewise for inference, if much more capable models are much cheaper (which was already the trend before this; this upset shouldn't surprise anyone), then usage of AI is probably going to go up.

Guys, it's better to buy 1 day after the rise, than 1 day before the crash. Don't act premature, do the research and assess the situation with a clear mind. Will there be a lower interest in nGreedia from AI investors? It was the case for the past week, and it doesn't seem to slow down. Will there be a higher interest from existing or new investors in the future? Hard to say. Robotics seems quite promising, but nVidia is only the training part of it, and the landscape of it may change. Jensen is a genius man, but is there a market for his new endeavor right now?

Lots of comments about the drop in stock prices and the timing of this video. You've just been given arguably the best summary of NVIDIA's history, philosophy, core beliefs and vision for the future in a way that's clear and easy to understand. It's about as good as it comes in terms of a pitch deck, even if that wasn't Cleo's intent. If you believe in that vision based on this information then today is your lucky day; not only have you been given a cheat sheet but you can also get in at a big discount.
