The Chiefs had one of those games where you almost feel bad for the opposing defense, because it looks like varsity vs freshmen. It’s just like when Steph Curry is on fire, you can send any scheme or strategy, but he’s just going to beat it because it’s his night, pure and simple. That was Mahomes yesterday.

I was more impressed with the running game by the Chiefs, if they can find true balance in their offense then they could be all time great. I know 180 aint gonna happen every week, but imagine an Andy Reid/Mahomes lead offense that can run for 100ish every game and Mahomes throwing dimes. Very scary.
Andy Ried ain't afraid to run the ball, but he needs a Jamal Charles/ Kareem Hunt type RB before he commits to the run game. Welcome to the Isaiah Pacheco era.

He's known as one of the greatest offensive minds the game has ever seen, and his ego is too big to allow him to run the ball during times he should. I've seen it before many times. He's one of the best coaches to ever do it, but he has that as a major flaw.

If you want to say: the Chargers outplayed the Chiefs with the exception of one play, then I have no problem there. That one play happened to be an enormous swing in terms of win probability. But throughout the game the Chiefs were not moving the ball at all against LA, and were getting dominated at the LOS.
And when the Chiefs come back and win they were outplayed. The bills come back and they don’t say nothing about em being outplayed

As a bills fan, i feel like mahomes and allen are the two best QBs in the nfl. Mahomes plays a much much cleaner brand of football. He attempts way more of the easy passes than allen. Allen is better at finding tight windows but it puts the ball in harms way. Mahomes does play sloppy at times but i really dont think its more than most QBs

they were top 5 coming into last night. KC literally picked them apart. if their O line can hold up like they did last night, they will be very hard to beat in the playoffs

No NFL team is going to be a good defense giving up 200 yards rushing to a pass first team. Drew brees torched a better version of that defense on SFN and turned around in the playoffs and played the worst game of his career. Mahomes probably remembers playing that defense in the superbowl 🤣
Wildes skillfully keeps it light hearted
At the very least, weeks 1-4, (Indianapolis loss included) from the Chiefs showed us the floor and ceiling of this Chiefs team EARLY. At their worst, they'll stay competitive and stay within striking range to win a game late. That alone is more than 27 other teams can ask for this year (and they've proved that already). At their best? They'll beat down the best defense for 41 and make even the greatest offensive mind in Brady one dimensional. They are the BEST team in the league.

It's too early to crown a team. However, I like the Bills grit and the way they win close games. They got the complete package and their offense on a good day can match the Chiefs plus they got a far better Defense. So I am not with Nick on them being the best team but they definitely look unstoppable when they can capitalize on teams slow starts (Cards/Bucs) and I think the AFC West on paper is a real good division but early on that is yet to be seen.

Every Chiefs fan deserved this beautiful win against the Bucs at Raymond James Stadium , after enduring the Super Bowl heartache loss - it doesn’t erase the pain, but it sure shrank the scab! I love that there’s no quit in Mahomes, and the team follows with him. As Travis Kelce says, as long as they play for each other, they’ll be flying around making plays. I love my Chiefs!
