Nick is such a homer and I love it haha. Unlike some other pundits I could mention, Nick actually grew up in KC and was raised a Chiefs fan since birth.
Fortunately, there is no NBA team in KC.

The NFL for 3 years now has rigged the post season to prevent the Chiefs from having the #1 seed, trying to avoid the AFC Championship from being at Arrowhead.
Why?

Chiefs fan here that's going to defend my team against the "barely beat the Titans with a rookie QB" take. The Titans have solid defense and a great run defense. They made the Chiefs one dimensional and were locking it down. They are not a bad team and they made Mahomes work for that win. If they hold the ball a bit more and give the defense more of a break, this game ends differently.
The guys are right. Defending #1 seed in the AFC and on a 5 game winning streak. I get that they are playing a rookie QB that isn't ready, but he was effective the first half running the ball until Spags adjusted. The Chiefs completely shut them down in the 2nd half and Spags isn't getting enough credit for taking away the only thing that was effective for the Titans.

Ive been a bills fan for 20 years so of course this show makes my skrin crawl now and again, but this is the peak of sports entertainment
Bills fan here. That loss yesterday is pretty big. Doesn't put them in the dumpster, but this is about homefield in the playoffs. Their play since the second half last week hasn't been up to par. Now they do have key injuries on defense, but the killer is them leaving points on the field and some bad throws by Josh Allen for INTs. They're looking very beatable. My Bills are 0-2 in the division and the Chiefs aren't going away. The ship needs to be righted immediately. Also, why was everyone just automatically dismissing the Jets? They've been playing well, were entering 5-3 and they're a divisional rival. This is the NFL. Nothing is easy. Buffalo has to get things cleaned up or there is no Superbowl. Again.

Man, I've been watching these talking head sports shows my whole life, and this one is the GOAT. No contest. And the reason why is obvious. Every one of these guys is smart and LIKEABLE. Even Nick, who technically plays the heel, is likeable. When he's fanboying over his favorite players and trying to make it sound like pure unadulterated reasonableness, and you totally disagree with him, he's actually at his MOST likeable. Because he sounds just like us. He loves this stuff, and so do we. And we try to make it sound like it makes sense too. Just love these guys. Nick, Brou, and Wilds, never change.

Chiefs were very undisciplined in the first half they had 8 penalties alone. Kicker also missed 4pts, there were a lot of missed dpi calls on the titans. That’s the only reason I think the game looked so one sided. Titans defense is good but Chiefs we’re also hurting themselves that helped them get in a while the first half. The only points Titans got in the second half came off a tipped int off kelce. There were also a couple critical drops from receivers.

What made the game close, is in the first half chiefs were looking to run away with the game, at 9 to 0. Then the refs took it upon themselves to make 8 calls all going against the chiefs, which took a touchdown away and three big plays. Which changed the game completely. The refs can call anything on anyone all game long, they just chose to call against the chiefs to make the game more exciting. Which sucks because they do this to a lot of games not just this one. Ill stop here

No credit to the titans huh lol? There wr bad calls on both sides. Chiefs knew 22 was coming and couldn't stop him for the most part. Knew the titans had the worse passing game in the league, Decimated with injuries on offence, and would be playing with 4-5th string recivers along with guys who's made a living on the practice squad(outside of woods) who's over the hill, and of course a rookie who shouldnt be playing yet.. Titans are also one of the worse scoring teams in the second half in the Nfl this yr so while the chiefs defence still deserves credit, this is still a bad offence at the moment. Titans Defence played Extremely well minus some key guys and has one of the best scoring defences in the league..
