    The patriots from 2014-2018 went to 5 straight conference championship games. They won 4 of those to reach the SB 4x. Then they won 3 of them.
    In that time span, they won 62 regular season (16 game schedule) games (78%) and 12 playoff games. 3-1 in SB.
    The chiefs in the last 4 years have won 52 (2 seasons with 17 games) 78% and 9 playoff wins. For the chiefs to equal those patriots, they have to win at least 13 games and win the SB. Otherwise they fall short. Barely. 😀

    Nick, as a Chiefs fan here in the KC area, I love your passion and spot-on "proclamations" back in 2019 and 2022 that the Chiefs would not lose again (after losing to the Titans in 2019 and the Bengals in 2022 during the regular seasons) en route to two Super Bowl wins. I don't know of any other prognosticator who accurately called those predictions. However, the Patriots did make 4 Super Bowls in a 5-year span from 2014-2018 by winning 3 and losing 1. During that stretch, the Pats made 5 straight AFC championship games. I do agree with you that if the Chiefs were to win the Super Bowl next year, I believe it would be the greatest 5-year"dynasty" by an NFL team in the Super Bowl area. Right now, I give it to the 2014-2018 Patriots, but the Chiefs would edge them out with a Super Bowl win this coming season.

    Patriots from 2014-2018 went to 5 straight AFC championships, 4 Super Bowls, and won 3 of them. That would be the exact same 5 year stretch the chiefs would have IF they win it this year. The reason why no ones ever won three straight in the NFL is its incredibly hard being a one and done format. You either cant have a bad game or you have to hope the opponent has a bad game. That combined with it being the most physical sport and injuries, hard cap, and free agency it just doenst happen.

      @sylthfarn3187 9 месяцев назад

      While Mahomes is undoubtedly a Hall Of Famer who has a lot of years left in the league, I fail to see how just a consecutive superbowl will lead him to be the greatest ever next year just because of the "quality of QBs".
      He should at least win another MVP and a final MVP (which he will get if the Chiefs win another Superbowl) and it only start the debate.
