Old Scout and old soul cask strength are solid

Rare Breed and 1920 are your "set it and forget it" bourbons. You never have to worry about not enjoying the product. Two of the all-time best offerings in bourbon. You find them everywhere. Always good. Under $60. I will also agree with your Bulleit recommendation. I have one I've been nursing that is one of my favorite bottles. It is so dang good. Every time I go back to it is a pleasure. Wish I had bought a couple more that day.

It's hard to find those Jack barrel barrel proof in Atl. Select barrel are everywhere though.
Old Grandad 114 is the cheap cask strength KING. Smoke Wagon Uncut Unfiltered is my current favorite readily available cask strength. Knob Creek 120, as others have said, should absolutely be on the list. Russell’s Reserve Single Barrel beats Rare Breed for me and it’s worth the extra money IMO. Great video guys.

I got a Makers Cask 46 once from a local VA ABC last year. Have never seen it anywhere else since.
Have never seen a Benchmark FP either in my local hunting area, only the cheap crappy one.
Dry Fly Cask Strength Wheat is pretty good as well. Chatt 111 is one of my daily choices.
Penelope Barrel Strength ALL DAY for me! It's so good. I just recently tried Maker's Mark Cask Strength and I'm shocked how much I enjoy a pour of that.

I am happy to see some love for one of my favorites Chattanooga 111. It is one of my favorites but I have to get it from out of state. I'm hoping that the additional attention it has been garnering will lead to distribution in more markets.

Always have 46 Cask Strength open on the bar. Find it pretty regularly in the Georgetown (central KY) area. It is a fantastic pour.
I would also add Russell Reserve Single Barrel to the list. It's Wild Turkey on steroids bursting with flavor.

Makers Mark 46 Cask Strength is my favorite Makers Mark but I was only able to find it once last year. I hope they release it again.
I've only seen MM 46 cask strength once in my life.
Elijah Craig BP and Larceny BP are my top dogs currently. JDSBBP is amazing, Penelope is amazing, OGD114, and 1792 FP are amazing too. I'm gonna get a 1920 prohibition today to try it out. Good video!

All great picks. I’m a huge fan of rare breed so that’s my go to.
Rare Breed is a go-to for me. 1920 is kind of a blind spot for me…love 1910. Penelope is solid. I need to get a Benchmark Full Proof next time I am in Texas. The Stellum Blacks are some of my faves (heck, so are the regular store picks of the blue and green)…the Stellum Black Equinox #1 is still one of my faves of last year…the Hunter’s Moon isn’t far behind. Chattanooga 111 is so unique! And I am on the lookout for another Maker’s 46 Cask…it’ll show in time. I like, don’t love JDSBBP…not really a re-buy for me.
I live in South Mississippi and the only ones I can't find are the Cardinal Spirits and the Benchmark Full Proof. I have only seen the 80 proof Benchmark here. Very good list. I really like the Makers 46 Cask Strength. While I've bought it here, it is difficult to find. I would have to add Blue Note Unfiltered Uncut to the list. Cheers!

For those who lean sweet, I’d say chatanooga cask is my favorite affordable one.
For more of a strong cask flavor with oak and bold flavors, I like rare breed.
Haven’t had the barrel proof or Penelope brand good call out.
The jack Daniels barrel proof is only available at one store around my location . And he has an endless supply of them, it hit that store twice a week a few might be missing the next time I go back its restocked, and that's awesome because its my daily sipper right now.
People still sleeping on Broken Barrel. They range from 115-122 proof, some have different stave finishes and they're all under $50.
Also 1792 Full Proof and Knob Creek 120 proof 9yr are great for $45.
Great video! You convinced me to subscribe. An outstanding list of higher proof bourbons that are available. In Virginia, I may not be able to find some of these, but I am able to find some cask strengths from local distilleries to replace them. Maker's 46 Cask Strength makes an appearance around Christmas. This year I found a 375ml in a box set with a 375ml of Private Selection.
All great choices. I need to look for the Cardinal BP - the only one of these I haven't hade. The Penelope is a great pick. It's my favorite in their lineup and would be maybe #3 in this list. #1 JDSBBP, #2 1920, #3 Penelope.

I’ve been following for a while and sub’d today. I enjoy you guys and like your content a lot. I know you get tired of “the disclaimer,” but , IMO you can 1) not mention availability, 2) talk about availability in your area, or 3) use the disclaimer. As you recognized, you don’t know what I can get.
I would add Barrell Bourbon. Good proof, generally good products and, in Minneapolis, Minnesota, pretty available. Here anyway, lots of good store picks. Thanks much for the video.

Have you tried Old Forrester Single barrel barrel strength
It’s not that easy to find and it drinks a little hot.
Also stayed away from allocated stuff
