That's what happens when you slam an old hydraulic clutch, good habit to get into before you get in an older car so you don't have problems out on the road. Old sloppy seals in the will blow out if you move the pedal to fast but will last forever if you are gentle.
One 'hazard' with used manuals is you can't be sure a previous actually knew how to USE a manual and caused issues. Tommy, don't feel bad. Stuff happens and you had no control over it. Shake it off buddy

I'm waiting for someone to build a REAL Lighting (not that electric thing) by taking a Raptor R engine and dropping it in a 2wd regular cab shortbed truck.
It would probably be so unstable, it would lose every race, the reason the R in sport mode goes into 4a and the Trx is Awd, putting that much power down. If you could get a regular cab F150 with 4wd and the 5.0 or a ecoboost, and modify the engines, they outperform the old lighting easily.

Congrats on taking this to the drag strip. Beats getting rock chips in your windshields every other race at the landing strip. Shame the Charger was not able to go up against your mustang. I miss the old days :) .
