Hey there. I came across this channel because I look up the 2H engine & I’m doing a engine swap atm on my 1985 75 series Landcruiser troopy..3F to a 2H engine.. & u gave me some ideas what iv tryed & it came out nice as .. u have inspired me alote & would like to say thank u 😁 Cheers chris
Looking great! I did a '66 Bronco way back when I was in my twenties and re-did the wiring... one lesson learned was before you tie everything up all nice and neat, plop a battery in there and verify that all the switches, warning lights, brake lights, turn signals, headlights, starter ground, dash voltage modulation, etc, etc, works. Much easier to deal with all the "should have worked" issues when everything is hanging in the wind and you don't have to install/uninstall something that might cause scratches or frustration.
Your heater tap looks quite corroded. Mine looked similar and ended up bursting and spraying coolant all over the garage. Genuine are pricey but in my opinion well worth it for the peace of mind.
Text on the knobs looks a little dirty. You can clean them up with a cleaner and a soft cloth and then re-do the white part with a paint pen. Will look as good as new.

Great job mate, really enjoy the videos and updates congrats on your project progress!
Thank you mate, feels like it's coming together now.
"played with our knobs..." Haha. Tastefully crude humor. :D

Yes I did bench test it all with a battery before installing. So I hoping nothing has changed.
Excellent video as always!
Great job it’s coming along well
Lovely job 👍🏻👍🏻
Nice job as usually ....

Thanks mate, will keep in mind. This is one I brought from a 40 wrecker as the original one was seized.
Looking Great!!
I don't think i would use the underlay under the vinyl , i would be too worried about it trapping water
As you saw we played with our knobs.
Did you swap the old buss fuse block out for a newer one? If so, what did you use? I'm doing the same thing!
Yes ebay, and it is the exact size to fit and replace old glass fuse box too,

Thank mate, this is the plan. I have the paint pen ready to go.
Where did you get the steering column gasket? Would like to get one for my 1971 fj40.
Hi Mate, I made it from some foam rubber.
@@40ChannelCruiser thanks I will do that
Where did you get the vinyl floor from ?
I brought it from trufitauto.com, check them out.
...oh, and you put the steering wheel on the wrong side! :o)
😂🤣
Can someone tell me what he’s installing at the 12:00 mark? Can’t seem to find where it’s located on part sites.
