Great video as usual. Comfortable Ride? Forget about it 🤠 Just like 2F fuel economy and actually listening to the radio below 8/10 All part of the charm
40 Channel you are so close to putting 1 piece back together. Keep it up. I’m falling behind because I haven’t seen the sun since October and it’s been nothing but rain, rain o and let’s not forget rain and cold Not much interest
Gidday. Doing a couple of rebuilds in New Zealand, wondered about the Holmes replacment panels. By the sound of things on your vid there mint would you recommend?
G'day Steve, I would absolutely recommend Homs Kingsley's Panels. If you give him a call very helpful and can talk you through what you need! Find him on Facebook Kingsley T Mahomed.
@@40ChannelCruiser thanks mate. Really appreciate it. I'm hoping I can get the replacment panels for my 69, I need quite a few. Iv been right through vids, really good bud
No it has the 60 series rear brake conversion done on it, with the hand brake lever mounted next to the gear shifter. If you look at one of my very very early videos it on that. (Warning it was early days of learning to film and edit🤣)
We have 2 different sets of leaf spring and we are unsure which goes in the front and which go in the rear. Is it the larger leaf springs with more support that go in the front or in the back?
What’s wrong with the old spring packs? Seems good to me. What you have thought to gain by changing them? P.S. Buy this kind of wheel nuts, then you won’t scratch your wheel paint any more: www.stolesraceshop.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/10/wheelnut.jpg
When the build is finish I will get the spring checked with weight of the FJ40 combinded with the heavier 2H motor in the front and the light rear end and see if this setup is best or if I can make it a better ride and sit right on the road. Time will tell for this one. Thank for sharing your link to the wheel nuts I will chase some down, you're a legend!
Very cool watching your daughters wrench on the bike!
Yep she loving getting in and having a go!
Great to see your daughter learning how to use tools by working on her dirt bike!

You're welcome mate, use it freely
