Yoga during Periods | 20 mins Gentle Yoga Practice for Menstruation Days

- Yoga plays a significant role in regulating our monthly cycle and also alleviating the pain to a large extent. Even during your menstruation, a few light yoga moves, deep breathing and pranayama may be beneficial for you both physically and emotionally.
This is a practice is not meant for when you are having severe cramps on period pain. This is for when you are having normal periods with maybe a bit of discomfort and if you do have cramps, you can probably state it from day 3 or 4 when your cramps have subsided.
Once you are ready, let's hop on to the mat and get going!

On my periods , especially on my 2nd and 3rd day , I don't even tends to move myself to do anything , BUT during this yoga practice I found ease in moving myself , my body felt very much relaxed and the whole body released it's cramps .Now I can encourage myself to do my works frequently on my periods.

It's a perfect yoga session to do on periods. I have always kept myself off yoga in the excuse of periods as I never knew some of the asanas you can still do even in periods. Bharti it would be great if you can do a new video for periods. Thank you.

Hi Eesha, if you do not have any cramps you can go ahead but I generally suggest taking test for the first 3 days and then starting the practice again :)
