- Elio's Pizza is sold out of a mobile pizza oven in a pickup truck. Eleodoro Lopez found a liquor store that would let him park in its lot and started selling pizza out of it a few months ago. Now he's gaining recognition for selling delicious Neapolitan-style pies for $10 each in Silver Lake.

As a neapolitan...BIG RESPECT to Elio! His pizza seems really genuine, something I would find in every pizza parlour nearby, but making it in LA it's like a little miracle. I hope he's doing fine, he's got skills and passion for a plate which, in our tradition, it's something sacred, and obsession! Where I live a "flat pizza" (or as we call it a "Margherita") would cost like 3.5 dollars, but for being in LA I bet it's also cheap, so keep it up Elio!

I *love* wood fired pizza, it's just the best way. That char on the base, mixed with the tomato sauce to balance it, the thin base. It's so good. There used to be a good truck I'd go to every Friday which served wood fired pizza and I love it every time, expecially the garlic pizza they make 🤤🤤

I’ve been there a handful of times after watching this video, even just went the day before yesterday lol & honestly this pizza is TOP TIER! it’s so delicious & the workers are so cool and nice as well as elio himself! definitely would recommend 10/10.
