InshaaAllah, Dios te bendiga!!
Thought he was just some sort of overnight celebrity. Good to know hes been working hard, for a very long time, real props to him. A good symbol to L.A in my opinion
This man found his niche and got it done. Congratulations, brother.
He’s a hard, devoted, worker! Much respect! Wish all Americans worked hard like this. Many are too lazy now...
His story made me cry. I'm from L.A. but live in Europe now. If I ver get back there, I will find him and be so happy to try his pizza! Good luck with everything!
The fact that his family is proud of him is amazing, I’m proud of him too, it’s not easy what he is doing, making and creating his dream into reality
I have so much respect for this man. Had a dream, worked hard, and achieved it despite all odds!
when the pandemic is over this will be my first international destination! sending love all the way from the Philippines 🇵🇭
I work where Lopez shops for his ingredients. I see him daily and NEVER knew he has a mini documentary about him. Next time I see him I'll congratulate him on still doing his pizza business 2 years later after this documentary released. This video just popped up on my feed randomly, he deserves my business next time I'm hungry in Los Angeles.
This just shows - If you bust your ass on the ideas in your head, good things will come. Actions speak so loudly. I love this so much.
He could easily charge more for the quality he's producing
Good prices bring back repeat customers
yeah
Charging more is just being greedy. This operation does not have much overhead.
@@Error_694 what's overhead
@@davidcrockett9786 "overhead" is the cost of doing business basically -- cost of equipment, ingredients, truck/gas, paying workers, etc
They did a video of him in food insider, glad that he is going well during this pandemic
The man's single-minded dedication to his path and his family is unquestioning, what a legend. I'm glad he bailed on his job and found this calling, everybody deserves to feel like a human being. Can you imagine this guy slacking off enough to get fired? Like, ever?? Nah, me neither.
Love to see different cultures colliding like that, saludos desde Italia!
This is what I love bout this country and why I call it home. Love it my brotha from Texas God bless you 🙏
I got to respect this man. He works so hard to get where he is right now. 4pm to 6am and literally without any rest to work another job
man his pizza looks AMAZING
Hispanic people creating their own markets/opportunities everywhere they go
+ Miguel Rosales
Yeah...
But he still won't speak English, apparently. Even if he is not fluent, he could *at least **_try,_* you know?
Before the (politically correct) hate comments begin, please allow me to let all know that I am a first-generation, brown-skinned, legal immigrant from India.
+@@Chuked
The only thing I asked is why he does not even try to speak English, which is the default language in the country to which he has come to in order to earn his livelihood.
And as I expected, you have spewed only hatred at me for asking such a simple question.
@@yevodee4024 there is no default language in North America😐
@@Chuked no he's right this goes for other countries. You should at least try to learn the language that is used locally. If you're staying for a while it's sometimes considered rude not to learn the language when you've been there a for a while.
@@yevodee4024 California was Mexico
Was a pleasure to see him in this video. Nothing but the best from germany. Keep on grinding dude
¡Que chevere, es un hombre napolitano! Love the ingenuity and dedication. We need more Americans like this!
So proud of being Guatemalan, I wish you the best Elio, viva Guatemala y viva el sueño Americano 🇬🇹🇺🇸❤️
Went and had this guy's 🍕 back in November. Hands down the best pizza I ever had. Can't wait to have another pie when I'm back in LA!
I dont know why I read all the subtitles even Spanish being my 2nd language.......btw fantastical pizza 😍😍😍
Haha i do that all the time
he is a good man, making good pizza and being a good person. The role model for all of us
Love and light to Elio and his family.
The first video you guys did on this guy inspired me to do my own food stand. Right now I just don't have the money to start since most of what I spend on goes to rent and I live in Californias high desert so no one comes out when it's cold.
Sell soups
This guy is so wholesome. That picture of him holding the lobster is goofy af 😂
I’m headed to LA this weekend, I will make sure to try.
Much respect to the hard working, Hustlers who come up with their own ideas to start their own business. All you need is an idea and a dream. ❤️
Eaten here several times; our go-to pizza spot and the best pizza we've ever had! They're always super cool, and don't skimp on the toppings. Very cool to hear his story and see the support. Truly a street food ICON; hell, he's a LIFE ICON.
Dude I LOVE Elio’s!!! One of my friends and my favorite pizza spots fr. Their pizzas are so fresh too
Everyone loves a hard work success story, awesome!
Sorry no pizza puns today, I just couldn't manage *the delivery!*
Great he makes it look easy! No he doesn’t need a building he’s doing it right saving a massive amount of money an peeing ingredient fresh!
Peeing!
Your so right
Que inspiracion Elio!!! Eres un gran ejemplo para todo hispano/latino en Estados Unidos, que demuestras que con esfuerzo puedes hacer tus sueños realidad. Gracias y bendiciones. Adelante y que sigas teniendo muchos exito.
We need to see more stories like this - He's a shining example of living the American dream.
Enhorabuena por tu éxito, Elio's. ¡Bienvenido a América! Estoy orgulloso de llamarte un compañero estadounidense.
As an italian, it is the first time I see a pizza made in the US that doesn't look like an insult to our whole country; in fact, it actually looks great. There's still hope!
This one looks like a good "pizza" pizza. There are many american pizzas that looks and taste great.. they're just not "our" pizza.
Much love to the beautiful country of Italy 🇮🇹 from Guatemala 🇬🇹
Theres many good pizza places in the U.S like blaze or mod pizza. Pizza over here is more so of a snack
God bless him and his business it’s very inspiring to hear these stories! I don’t know him but I proud of him too 😂
Gosh you're gorgeous 😘
His pizzas are amazing. Went to his spot several times.
Shoot the spot location
@@elgamazacatecas6670 2517 Sunset Blvd L.A., Ca 90026 it's in the parking lot of a liquor store in the corner of Sunset and Coronado. Get there early he sells out quick sometimes and cash only.
Big probs and respect for This men and his family, he Make real autentic italian Pizza. I wish for him an his family all the best. Greatings from germany
The best story in munchies so far👍🏼👍🏼 wish him nothing but the best in life!
I try, emphasis on try, to make pizzas. My kids give me the benefit of the doubt sometimes when I make them. Other times they don't eat it. My man right here is killing it with his mad skills.
Lets not forget that the backbone of every fancy pants restaurant that charges mad money for a food, are guys like this. No English. No papers. No experience. Fast learners. Hard workers. Say what you want but immigrants, and you know you will. But this guy is making it on his own, with the skills that he learned and were under valued and under appreciated. Enjoy the fact that he's making it as legit as possible. If you see any old world pizzeria, you know they do it like this.
Chapin! Echele ganas patojo. No se deje porque ya la hizo. Solo para arriba ahora.
My man has a Tacoma.. he knows what he’s doing.
Nice to know he's still doing good during these times
looks like he grew. It used to be a 1 man operation.
I have a big admiration for people who work very hard.👏
You're doing GREAT brother!! I'm VERY glad you came to America!!
Last year he has only 1 oven and he doin everything solo, now he got 2 oven with some assistance... nice
I know spanish but I watch so much anime I still red the sub lmfao but anyways such hard workers man never ceases to amaze me hope he keeps up his craft to expand.
This guy is a champ. I need to get me one of these when I’m out there next.
Yep your right
This man has humble grit. So many of the Americans I work with feel so entitled to everything just because they graduated college. School doesn't teach you resilience or inner fight. I wish this man and his family long lasting success and happiness.
God bless him and his family. Hard work always pays off. 🤗
