    absolutely incredible...they sound so of the dead without the ongoing sustain;
    they're all chops!

    Finest "Slipnot!" ever played. Lesh looks like he's so HAPPY to be free of "the plods" that characterizes a good bit of this stuff.

    I was at the original show at Winterland. I was a little - um - enhanced - OK, a LOT enhanced - and I got pretty swept away. I remember singing along at the top of my lungs throughout Sugar Mag all the way thru the last note of Saturday Night. God, was I hoarse the next day! But hey - isn't that why you went to the shows?

    Always tried to tell people that aside from his mainstream music, JM is a hell of a guitar player..Everyone hated on him after he was on SNL with Bob. I guess that was the spark that lead to this. Play on brother. Play on.

    I love this show! The performance is astounding, as usual. My one and only minor gripe is about the live camera mixing (or the post show editing). The shots themselves were fine, but they tended to mostly be wide shots of the band from 3 different angles. Inserting a lot more close ups of the performers would have made this a lot more visually interesting, especially when they’re jamming. I love to see the musicians’ hands and facial expressions as they’re getting into the music; it makes me feel more like I’m there! Then again, I’m a video editor and I look for stuff like that. Overall though, a fabulous show. Wish I had been there!

    Any chance you will upload the part where they were in the bar afterwards? Phil, Ross James, Alex Koford and John Mayer jammed it. It was a part of the stream. Like a dank ass Easter egg from hell. Best part of the show on my opinion.

      the electronics in phil's bass probably make it one of the most expensive ones on the planet, but yes john mayer's pants still cost more

    Why does the drummer on the left kinda sucks and has no confidence? Damn.. I would have done a much better job up there, and would have probably enjoyed it way more too! Or at least looked like it. Amazing music regardless, and drums sounded great anyway!

    • @stubhead

      Maybe because the drummer on the RIGHT is Pete Lavazzoli, who not only smokes but is something of a scholar of weirdness too - he WROTE a fine book, "The Dawn of Indian Music in the West." Not so many R&B guys can handle 11/8 time. He and Mayer obviously tickle Lesh half to death, probably BECAUSE they're kickin' it hard.

      +Jetsrule192 the drummer on the left is just playing rhythm so they don't sound like shit
