this was a while back .. i never heard this.. love his guitar interpretation...right in the groove.. hate his singin...at that point...hes rushing it... vocals mixed too high... one of my fave songs...i always loved the relaxed jerry on this one... its phun to play...

Don Meeger is the worst most self important sub standard clueless Jerry “cover” guitar players of them all. He cannot comprehend Jerry’s timeless without a net masterful genius humility he delivered and the weight behind it. Don Meegers guitar playing is best described as sometime bringing in a boom box blaring a CD of a Grateful Dead show at a Grateful Dead show competing with the volume of the show itself.

That intro to mission in the rain is so dark and eerie... i love it. Then Loose Lucy to lighten the mood on the rocks. I mean that is money

Sums it up best. I don't understand how true Dead Heads are not supportive of John Mayer. In my mind, he has been keeping this big ball of fun trucking' along. I know that they have announced the final tour, but my hope is that JM takes some younger musicians and keeps this scene rollin for years to come. Hey JM, grab Warren Haynes and get on the tour bus..
