Stumbled across your video. I don't think i've ever seen a man your age with such enthusiasm for your future. I can almost guarantee you'll be successful. keep up the good work young man..
Great job. Keep up the good work. Some advice for the future: -Don't immediately rev an engine that's been sitting, let it warm up for a few - DTCs (trouble codes) / engine light resets usually after 24 hrs on a dead or disconnected battery, so you will not see an engine light come on until you complete the intended drive cycles Look forward to more of your content

Good job done and very nice car...... Noticed your very clearly using your mobile phone while driving... Here in the uk you would get your arse kicked big time, don't do it just pull over and stop the car before you cause an accident. Stay safe out there. 👍
Being a former Owner of a Detail Shop, you could have saved yourself time and money by simply Steam Cleaning the Interior of the car you were trying to get the smell of cigarette smoke eradicated.
I agreed to an extent, but for quick flips like that one that ozone machine will be a miracle worker. I have one myself and it's insane the amount of smell it could take out, he should have left it in there for longer than 30 minutes and wouldn't have to do anything else
Just any FYI when you run the glue on the pinch weld for any piece of glass always get a glue that has a primer associated with it and run the primer over the scratches on the pinchweld to remove rusting over time. And if you have any spillage of glue, isopropyl alcohol will clean it up super easily
you don't have to jump start the alternator brother.. let the oil move around before you send her to the moon you also dont know how long the car had set..
A classic car once in a while like a long term project would be cool to see. just not an extremely rare car. those cost way too much. these cars you are doing right now are the bread and butter. they keep the lights on and food on the table. a lot of Garages would love to work on exotics and custom cars but in the foreground the everyday brake jobs oil changes ect ae their main source on income. if that makes any sense. sorry for the ramble there. liked and subbed. have a great day everyone.
Good job on getting the car cleaned up! One suggestion not sure if you did it off camera is to make sure to spare the rotors with brake cleaner to get the oils and ect off them. Other then that looks good! 👌
Putting in a few charcoal briquets can help with smell. May i say as someone with severe asthma and COPD, perfumy, floral, chemical smells are deathly. Purple Fabuloso and Arm & Hammer detergent are a trip to the emergency room 😩😵
Never heard of him, a little before my time 😅. But after looking him up and hearing a few of his songs I’m taking this as a compliment. I got big shoes to fill 😁
Get a complete interior done then put a ozone machine in it 24 hr and no more smoke smeel im a detailer and have bought 100 s of cars over the yrs even bought a Mercedes Benz that a old guy died in and I Ozoned it for 2 days smel gone
First video I watched of yours and im now Subscribed, your doing what I been looking to do just curious how you found/started the whole gig any advice would be greatful!
This is from a Smoker.... Cigarette smell is pretty easy and pretty cheap to get rid of, just steam clean it and after it dries spray Ozium on the carpet, seats and headliner. It not only gets rid of the smell but it santizes it so the smell goes completely away.
Macho, you did an awesome job! I like that there wasn't a lot of fat in the video. Short and sweet. I just subbed. Looking forward to the $600 car video. Wish you the best brother! Keep up the good work.
So you bring your own jump pack that’s very smart because one of the old is scams from those tow/impound yards Is to kill the battery so that you will have to be charged also they can charge you for a jumpstart
@@markbocado2848 Great Question! It depends on the car, like if its been sitting for a really long time or have the maintenance required light on DEFINITELY. But if it has a sticker saying it’s due in 1500+ miles probably not. Most people like to do the oil change themselves to give them peace of mind on the maintenance done.
Glad you enjoyed it! Here is the video for a couple of sites where you can get cars from a public auction: How to Score Bargain Cars at Public Auctions (No License Required!) ruclips.net/video/2aswI2YAvno/видео.html
A four-wheel drive matrix with 120k in decent condition would get better than 4K around where I live in PA. I would have held out for more. Except that thing looked like it needed tires which knocks $400 off. Good luck with the next one
About buying cars from public auction without first inspecting them. Also is easier to sell cars with license plate on them. Otherwise make sure to verify registration. One bad purchase will wipe all your gains. Good luck
That's the four-wheel drive model or so it says on the back. I hope you didn't tow it without the drive shaft removed. Especially if you're using one of those two wheel dollies you can mess up the all-wheel drive system.
Hey great question, here is video I made talking about all the links: How to Score Bargain Cars at Public Auctions (No License Required!) ruclips.net/video/2aswI2YAvno/видео.html
It'll definitely need a deep clean on the inside to remove all of the brown tar. 3 days of labor would be a few $100, so deduct that from the profit. Oh, and the time to go pick it up and the equipment used. I buy and sell furniture, and I often forget to add ALL of the actual costs of time and equipment, so really the profit is usually way less than I calculated. When all is said and done, probably a $600 profit.
I've never flipped furniture but I flipped many cars as a side hustle and tools and equipment don't figure into the profit/loss equation since they are used again and again, materials are usually the most overlooked because how much of the penetrating oil was used, same for the map has, soap and other cleaning supplies, paper towels, etc. The problem I have with putting a dollar value on time spent is that time is free when it's a side hustle, that time could have been spent on any number of non profitable endeavors and if you are putting that dollar amount into the sale price it's easy to overprice the car and take too long to sell . I always found it better for me to forget the time factor and only consider the actual money spent on the car. This guy got lucky on this car, buying it sight unseen, buying at an auction is a gamble even if you can inspect them beforehand since you can't drive them. The unknown problems that often occur are going to make the time spent the least of your worries.

When replacing the rotors use some brake clean to take off any contamination.
It killed me seeing him throwing the wheel back on with the rotor looking like that. Hopefully he cleaned it off camera
Well done. Great auction price . Very good deal for the person whom bought it from you.
Just spray the interior with 6% cleaning vinegar and wipe everything down including the headliner! It'll get rid of the smoke smell

On old and new rotors alike, applying a thin layer of anti seize to the backplate behind the rim, keeps this from ever happening again.
120k miles that’s not even broken in ! I was expecting 250ish !

When you buy these cars at auction, do you register them so you get the title in your name? How does that work?
Good question
If you know the car will not overheat, engine running with air set to recirculate will move the ozone through the air vents.
Good job and good luck with your channel.
Those are some of the best cars on the road,
Hey I’m pretty sure you didn’t screw the two screws on the rotor when you where installing it.

How about title and registration stuff cost on your end? Or was the title open for you to sign over to a new buyer?

Actually when you run the ozone machine you turn on the AC and you put it in recirculate and you run it for the 30 minutes.
instead of ozone machine try fog machine to get rid of smoke smell. there are couple videos about it. that works better!
