Hi what is the name of the electrical tool that you use to disassemble and what kind of drill do you use what is the power of the battery and torque? please need your advice don't forget to tell us when it's sold ❤😊❤😊❤😊
Good luck
Life is an education .....so would you do this again .....only time will tell because you very handy and adventurous! Keep the great content coming ......Thanks Bro!!!!
About buying cars from public auction without first inspecting them. Also is easier to sell cars with license plate on them. Otherwise make sure to verify registration. One bad purchase will wipe all your gains. Good luck
Nice job. I need to flip some cars
Incredible video man, I can't wait to see more of those series. I will be interested to see what the total will be for the "1000" car will be lol. The more I watch videos like those the more I want to buy a cheap car and do this myself. Keep up the outstanding work man.
I bought a 1000 corolla recently and had to pay a mechanic to fix so many issues. You did a great job.
Maybe 1,000 was still too much for this car🥴
yeah..Maybe 500
300$ and a Doritos loco taco 🌮
I want to get a 1000$ car but idk if I could do all those repairs
Pretty sure homey gonna flip this turd
Hey Macho, The only thing I heard that was a mistake was, "I didn't check all the fluids before I bought it". Always always always check ALL fluids before making an offer. An engine will tell you how it's feeling by the color AND smell of the fluids. Very concerning that most of the fluid reservoirs were empty. But, you are making good content. Keep plugging away my friend!
keep this for 5 years and save money on newer car payments n insurance. easily save 20K
This person gets the idea 💪🏼
Macho making it look easy
I love these videos bro
Brother you know I admire your work. Why in the hell would you put all those top-notch parts on a car you're not keeping is this all about the prophet. Literally I'd have gone and got the cheapest Parts I could get and blown out the air filter. Cabin filter why? I would go to a discount auto part place and try and get a discount on buying everything and keeping my business with them🎉
Appreciate the compliment, but I think I didn’t explain myself correctly in the video. Back story: My daily driver was involved in an accident (video coming in the far future). So I was on the hunt for a daily car that was cheap because I had liability insurance (insurance didn’t pay anything for accident). So I set myself with a budget for $1000 in hopes of finding a cheap reliable car. This video isn’t meant to be a car flip like all my other videos, but just figuring out the “TRUE COST” of a reliable $1000 car. I agree that if this was a flip video I wouldn’t have done some of the “repairs” such as an Apple car play radio or cabin air filter to maximize profit. But it’s a cheap spacious car for me to carry tool, car parts and drive on a daily basis. Sorrry for any confusion but I hope this was able to help clarify the video 😅
8/10 😂😂 The seller knew that car was a pile of 💩 and was looking to screw over someone but you showed up instead. I think $1,000 was still too generous for that car after you got into it.
Working on Part 2 as we speak, and I’m very much learning the error of my ways 😅. $1,000 was a definitely lil too much for what I paid.
The spark plugs you pulled out look like ford branded plugs
It’s a ford engine
@ I was only commenting because he said they were cheap brand and not OEM
Woohoo view 420 that's me lol Great vid boss 👍😎
Keep up the good work. (This one is definitely a two or three video car.... :)
I bought my cobalt 2009 manual Ls 2.2 with 65k miles for 800 bucks last year came from auction and hasn’t had any problem for a year so he’ll yea there’s still them deals out there u just gotta look
Great video
So you mean to tell me you had it listed for 2 days, and the first person to come look at it negotiated you down $1,000? I'm happy you got it sold, but there's a difference in one day and $100 and a few more days than $1,000. Regardless, I'm subbing and will keep up with future videos
Love the vids man, I'm in NY and u can't trust anything now a days.
you have a great attitude and nice to see young guys getting ahead this way! the bumper though hmmm. LOL doing good work!
Gotta love Jersey rust lol. This looked like a tough flip, hope it gets easier.
I only buy cars that have serious mechanical issues. If I don’t need to dolly them home I don’t buy them. I look at it as my gambling issue. Sometimes I make money and occasionally I lose money and cut my losses. Trick on the misfire is to swap the coil packs with another cylinder and see if the missfire moves to a different cylinder. I know the coil is was cheap, but I look at every dollar I put into it cuts into my profit.
You are not doing bad . I have been flipping cars for almost 25 years and here is a few things I have learned . First , you make money during the purchase , not the sale , if the price is too high walk away . What I mean is , with this Toyota you have to look at it as a repairable , you are not buying a fully functional ready to go car . If you have to part it out in the end because a repair is not worth it then you will still make money . I would have offered $1200 at most for the car . This leaves you plenty of room , what if the miss in the engine was a bent valve , that costs much more to fix than a coil . The rest of the repairs you did like brakes and cleaning up the head lights is right on , but when you sell presentation is the most important thing . I would have sanded the hood down and repainted it . I would have also sanded the wheels and repainted them . I am not trying to talk down to you , I wish someone had told me these things when I first started . Good Luck .
Hi Macho, great video and subbed. May i ask the intended selling price if you sold the car problem free?
Hey! My goal was to sell the car for $4000. Obviously it didn’t work out that way because I may have overpaid and over estimated the market on it. My goal with any flip is a minimum of $1000 profit because I’m risking $100s-$1000s to only make $200-300$ is not a good return on investment in my opinion. Lucky haven’t been in a situation of a huge loss just yet 😅
i wanna get my first auction flip too glad this video came across my TL
needs a flex pipe heard the leak
What site do you use to get on the auction with no dealer license? Just subscribed to your channel, hoping you put up more. Brother, just want to let you know you can get a headlight cleaning kit for like 20 bucks, and use it for multiple vehicles. It will save you huge amounts of money on headlights. Best of luck, great videos!
Great job, I have to admit, I'm impressed! Keep going.
I have a relative that is a vet so they try and buy from other vets. Unfortunately they have been ripped off 2x in the last few years …by vets. (One was boat that had all broken motor mounts when they said it needed “nothing” and the other a car that needed much more work than they indicated).
Amish wagon made in China. Also, include the tax title and DMV fees.
Whos this girl?
You had me with the sponsor! Mad funny man! Keep doing what you’re doing brother God bless
A rust free highlander with under 200k miles would sell for actual money in the rust belt. If you could get that to wisconsin or minnesota it would sell for 4-5k on the low end.
why this vid blowin up
That’s good
Putting in a few charcoal briquets can help with smell. May i say as someone with severe asthma and COPD, perfumy, floral, chemical smells are deathly. Purple Fabuloso and Arm & Hammer detergent are a trip to the emergency room 😩😵
Notice how the insulator on the spark plug was bright white. That means the plug wasn't firing at all. Either the coil was dead, or it just wasn't seated in far enough to make proper contact with the plug. A properly firing plug will have a very light tan color on the insulator.
Catalytic convertor code may be getting thrown because of the exhaust leak.
Doing good
