Great work as always Jamie. Very similar issues are found in the Wingnut line with zero tolerance fir painted joins etc requiring continuous vigilance or fit issues will occur. The Fokker D7 a great kit has absolutely no margin for misalignment or painted joins. Spitfire is looking awesome so far i may have to pick up an early to go with a later one i have. Looking forward to the painting.
Great job Jamie, your build process is really thorough, and the wing to fuselage join was flawless, part kit, but also part builder as well, really nice.
Great video, thanks a lot! About the seperate hatches...Kotare mentioned that later models (Va) had a hatch version with prominate rivets. Hence the seperate part...
So as a modeller Spitfires and Mustangs are the way to go for the future ? Every year just a new Mark comes out. ? The future must be dire if we have a life of Spitfires ?
Come on Paul, there are dozens and dozens of new releases and re-releases every year and only a small fraction are Spitfires and Mustangs. Plus Kotare are a start up and the first kits they release have to be popular subjects that give them a decent return on their investment.
It's more than just Spitfires, Mustangs and 109s, but there's a reason why there's so many and more keep coming out, they sell, lots! But on the channel there's plenty of other stuff, some relatively esoteric.
Goes together well Jamie 👌 You don't hang about either! Looking beautiful mate 👍
Thanks Bobby

Thanks Bill, it's just care and taking the time to clean things up properly!
Glad it isn't just me that struggles to stay under the camera!! Lovely work dude 😊
😂. I tried a different angle seeing it's a big model!
Loved the construction sequence.
Thanks mate
Appreciate your attention to detail.
You're welcome David
Wow what a fantastic fit🎉
That it is Liam, but you do need to be careful with the tolerances

What make is the coloured glue or did you add something to it? That’s a genius idea as I always end up adding to much !!
It's by Ammo, they have red and blue in the catalogue mate.
