its so real tho. It took me a couple years to grasp the subtleties of mind-muscle-connection with chest. In contrast to biceps and triceps, which ive NEVER had a workout that didnt leave them feeling trashed and occasionally causing doms; it took years for me to walkaway from a 6+ sets and be like DAMN!.. my actual chest muscles are cooked. Originally I thought I was experiencing doms, but it was actually my delts and shoulder tendons that felt cooked. Waking up that first time having doms somewhere closer to my sternum was a gamechanger. It astounded me how something as simple and “cavemanish” as a chest press could be difficult to correctly perform. Im sure no one read this.
@@marken816 definitely. Also seems harder on the shoulders. I started out benching flat with terrible form and my shoulder suffered. Now with a good arch and my shoulders retracted it feels so much better
Thanks for this post. I’ve worked out somewhat frequently for years, but have only been committed for the last year. Going 4-5 times a week and actually pushing myself and I still struggle to feel my chest after a workout that leaves me winded and exhausted. Dumbbell pressing has helped me and I feel it more in the stretch, but am still struggling to feel it in the squeeze, unless I’m doing a machine press or maybe a cable press. I feel all my other muscles with back and arms or legs but my chest to mind connection isn’t there yet.

Sam seemed so insecure during that part
@@crunkler404That's breaking down the ego, you will never get better until you can see your faults and work on them. Bodybuilding is a philosophy
I love how Jay is walking around bigger than half the IFBB after being retired for over 10 years. Freak of nature
Jay Cutler seem like such a great guy.
Dude getting bigger and bigger, youtuber and bodybuilding😂 even has a cameraman now🎉
Sorta, mark stepped in with the videography
@@sam_sulek niceeee👌👌👌👌

Mark did a great job
Jay is an absolute legend and still looks crazy… This was great to watch
Jay should train Sam to be a champion 🏆 🥇
Jay Cutler is just such a master of his trade. Biggest respect for that man.
Fucking love Sam and Cutler together. What an inspiration.
Both guys are passionate about Body Building. Jay Culter is such a cool guy
its so real tho.
I think the problem is most guys start with flat bench. While it's a great chest builder, many people have problems feeling their chest with the lift.
@@marken816 definitely. Also seems harder on the shoulders. I started out benching flat with terrible form and my shoulder suffered. Now with a good arch and my shoulders retracted it feels so much better
I read it Brad. I read it.
Imagine doing 6+ sets and only occasionally getting DOMS. Read Arthur Jones and learn real training.
my two favorite bodybuilders 🥺❤️ thank you Sam and Jay
Jay is such a cool dude. Too humble. Genuinely absolutely loves the sport for everything it stands for! Sam you’re looking insane. It’s yours to take with the right mindset and determination that we all know you have ✌🏻💪🏼
Well said

Nice to see how engaged Jay is!! Huge wealth of knowledge
this has to be the best collab
Kid is solid.Looks like he invented older brother to train. Happy to see Mr Cutler healthy.
Jay cutler is awesome! He only speaks when he needs to, he doesn’t judge Sam. Just tries to help where he can. A great model for the younger generation coming up.
I remember Sam saying he wasn't interested in collabing. I'm glad he is working with the greats and not those that would just boost his clout
this is wholesome. Sam’s taking the steps to be more awesome everyday
They match each other’s energy so well. One of my all time favorite bodybuilders with my favorite up and coming bodybuilder. What a cool video
This is wild. Sulek rising faster than grocery prices
👆😄💪🏼💯
I only watched this video for 9 minutes, I can say already it is one of my favourites from Sam. Congratulations on your persistence
Jay giving Sam some real talk and advice
This is like chest day with your uncle. Two of my favourite dudes. Love to see more of this.
I really feel that Sam has consolidated the lifting community and all the decent content creators/ body builders. The renaissance of body building.
Never watched much of jays stuff until
recently. Glad I started. He seems like such a likeable, genuine dude. And so is Sam. What a great collab. Great couple of ambassadors for this.
Jay makes the funniest faces when he's struggling 😂
It’s hilarious when he says I’m never struggling I just make faces like I am lol
That’s literally everyone though😂 that means your going hard
Sam has much better form now 💯👏🏻
The maturity of these two are insane
Having someone like Jay Cutler giving you this kind of advice is legit gold! Such a cool guy to impart his wisdom.
Probably the best duo yet in terms of matching energy and intensity
