IRON Series 30 Min Final Full Body Workout - Hypertrophy | 29

  • Ready to put your strength and control to the test? Slow paced, precise movements and chance to consider an increase in some movements…a solid all rounder full body resistance workout that is the PERFECT workout hitting all major muscle groups, to save to work on progressively increasing the weight you use!
    This is one of those workouts where reps are low, control and how you perform the reps are key and opening consideration to increasing weights if relevant… even on those lunges!
    The timer will be on for a majority of the workout 45 seconds per exercise with 30 seconds rest inbetween! The only variation to this is the Pullover where we perform this for 60 seconds of work, with 15 seconds rest before the RDLs!
    The dumbbells I am using for your reference are 2 x 20kg and 2 x 15kg each!
    I use the 20kg dumbbells for everything except the Shoulder Press and the RDLs where I use 15kg each!

    Bring the intensity with those Bulgarian lunges at the end! Slow and exact… then finish those arms, front delts and chest with the push ups.. legs should have a hard time keeping you up in plank!👊🏼🤩

    Caroline, if you are contemplating doing an Iron 2. DO IT! :P Insane good endorphins and results. Will definitely be repeating the series after Sunday's session. Incredible what you can do in 30 mins with consistency and mindful lifting. A million thank you!

      Hi Carolina...that’s brilliant to read...it shows just how committed you’ve been and how hard you’ve been working! I’ve enjoyed iron series too...though I’m looking forward to getting our Sunday HIIT sessions back! I’ve been missing them! I loved today’s workout and I’m sure you will too...I used 12.5 kg all the way through as these are my heaviest weights! And I just loved the add on today! Really good!       I am actually seeing a tiny muscle pop out on my side thigh! I can’t lose any weight no matter what I try it seems. 52 and it is harder to lose. I have 25 to lose but seeing these little definition popping up is exciting to FINALLY see! I will do this series over and add more walking

    This workout made me realize that I prefer compound exercises over isolation exercises. I've made up my mind and decided that I'll be repeating this one over and over and use it to increase my strength until I can match your weights.

    Hi Caroline, This Iron series was the icing on the cake, it was so rewarding, I don’t want it to be over, but I thank you, for allowing us to lift heavier weights, I have gotten much stronger and a tighter core, it kept me focus and in control. I hope you do Iron II, but thank you for it all.🙏

    I must say this is my favorite series. Although the other help me in ways I never thought I could never accomplish. I'm much stronger and my endurance in weight training has totally improved over all. At 68 yrs old I can't complain. "You Rock!"🥰🥰🥰

    Time flies when your having fun. Iron series was tough and challenging but hey, those 30 mins were definitely fun and rewarding as you finish each workout.     Only 2 more workout in the Iron series! I can't believe how strong I've become. My "heavy" weights no longer seem that heavy. Where to go from here? EPIC? As long as Caroline is leading the charge, it will be impactful. God bless you Caroline! ❤️

    I love that all over spent feeling from Full Body Fridays! I upped my chest press to 30#, my RDLs to 35# ! I'm feeling Iron Strong! Thank you Caroline! This series has challenged us, made us stronger and you have been smiling at us even when we are grimacing! Girvanators are in for some tough fun!

    Does this woman ever sweat? I look like a bucket of water was thrown over my head! 😫. GREAT WORKOUT!!! Went by quickly as there were only six exercises. Loved that format. Love this series.     Started a more committed strength training journey with Caroline from July 2022. EPIC beginner, EPIC I & II, Caroline Calisthenics and about to wrap up Iron Series. This is my favourite so far. Fell in love with this program from Day 1. If there was Iron Series II I wouldn’t be mad AT ALL 🥰🥰

    I have done others of yours, but the IRON series I completed and showed a lot of muscle GAINs.
    Even everyone has noticed and I’m more toned and body is defined and stronger.

    Day 29 Crushed!! Went a bit heavier where possible and it's so Empowering. Entire body worked hard today. Perfect Finisher. So glad Bulgarians were b/w and it did its job as my legs were shaking during pushups. Loved this Super Sweaty Sesh! Feels Awesome after! 🤩

      You go superwoman💪💪 sounds you had an awesome work out. A brilliant full body in the series. I loved this didn't go heavy like Caroline. Used 20kg for goblet squats, 10 for shoulder press 12.5 for chest press and 15kg for everything else. Add on done too. Cardio workout and that was so tough as legs were gone in first session but got it done. I was thankful too that Bulgarian lunges were b/w and loved straight into push ups. I had serious effort to stay upright off the floor for pushups. Overall feelling the love now after that workout 😜have a great weekend 😊

    This was my absolute favorite full body workout I've ever done and I loved every workout of this series. I only did a handful of the add-ons because the main workouts usually took all my energy. Thank you, Caroline for all you do for us!

    And what a final Iron full body. Not for those who like loads of variety, but for me it what perfect and summed up what I wanted iron to be...slow, controlled, focused moves with no intentional cardio (though the lunges did bring the HR up) Did my own add on. A 5 minute body weight, full body workout from way back, twice through. Thank you ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

    Thank you! Finding your channel has made such a difference in my life. I love exercising in the morning, and after retirement, I have time. My favorite hobby is gardening, and I am hoping that this upcoming summer will be filled with lots of outdoor fun with less pain from sore muscles!     I can really tell the difference in my upper body strength, having got this far in the Iron Series. I am finding my push-ups easier and I can lift heavier weights than I thought. Thanks Caroline, I am looking to Sunday's final session.

    This feels so good!!! Loved this full body! I am truly impressed by Caroline's strength...she presses 20 kg while I struggle with 10 kg, but yesterday I manage to do 2 pull-ups without even trying before, so I am really happy with where I am now! :) Thank you, Caroline, for another awesome workout!

    Hi, when I first started working out 🏋️‍♀️ with Carolyn, I barely could do a push push up, first workout I could barely walk the next day! 30 days later I can do a push up and I’m not as sore when I work out! Don’t get me wrong they are still hard but I can see that I’m improving each and every day! Thank you! 🎈❤️❤️

    I LOVED this series out of all of your others. I can't believe it's over on Sunday. I love to lift weights and you were the perfect coach. I love it so much that I wish the workouts were 40-50 minutes long. I'm praying you have another series beginning real soon. (Like maybe next week?????) haha!     Care home every day as mum infection in bone in feet v painful 😖

    Woow and sixth week is so close to be DONE! I will start this series again next week with more heavy weights, this series will fit very good before my holidays then I will finish epic heat that I was doing before iron series started. Caroline thank you so much for all of these thousands minutes that you had put in to this series.

      Well done Tony. It has been stepped up this week but such enjoyment to be got with this series. Loved today with the combination of upper body straight into lower body. Add on done too but so so tough after main session. All set for day. Have a great weekend 🙂

    I nearly skipped this one today, but I decided to just have a go. Now I’m so pleased that I did because this was fantastic!! Also first time I felt so much more confident using a heavier weight with lunges 🤩 Some good slow controlled moves to really perfect the moves and increase strength … brilliant as ever Caroline 🥰😊 Have a happy Friday everyone!

    Hi Caroline, hi everyone🤗! I'm back to this wonderful family after a difficult period... I missed you so much 💔!! So unfortunately I have not been able to train live this time, I am in fact behind by exactly two weeks, but I am so happy to have restarted with this amazing program .... I'm really enjoying it Caroline, definitely my favorite series so far!.... Short time but so challenging!!!! Every single day is so hard and sweaty in a best way, as we love it....Thanks Caroline, wholeheartedly..... Please🙏 , before starting again with some other fantastic series, wait for me😁!

      Keep it up! I switched off and actually unsubscribed late 2020 after a difficult time. I am now back & although I don’t do each programme I love to watch, take notes & incorporate the moves in my workouts 😊

    Good Morning 😊 Wooow!!! That was incredible 😍 I totally loved the finisher and the format in general. The repetitions were very intense and exciting. I felt that I was really concentrating and taking my time at each rep. Caroline, thank you for your amazing workouts and I love you ❤️

    I really loved this full body workout. I'm not really a fan of Full Body Fridays in general (I know shame on me!) but I do like this format. I'm just not keen on the cardio and combo movements and the "heavy on legs" ones. This was a great mix today. I did the add on cardio and I really am a fan of THAT format for the combo workouts using the lighter dumbbells ... although the body was feeling it after the solid hypertrophy day 29 workout!

    I just loved this workout so much!! Please do more Iron ❤️❤️❤️❤️Even though I need heavier weights I used as much as I had and added my ankle weights around my wrists! 😊 The add on was pretty tough so I did some of the lunges body weight only and still felt that burn!     Possibly my most favourite full body work out in a long while! Time went fast - the exercises were just perfect. Used 15kg each and 18kg each (used 15kg 2nd set of lunges tho as my grip was shot)! I can't believe we are almost at the end of this series and what a great series it has been to slow the movements down, use that full 60 seconds, lift a bit heavier and get that mind/muscle connection happening!!! Cannot thank you enough caroline!!!

      Redid this one! Last one of my repeat of Iron! Used 20.5kg and 15kg. Still one of my favourite work outs and was happy to attempt the 20.5kg weights!!

    So glad to see the word hypertrophy in the title! Can't believe it is the last full body in this series! Best series for me by far! I've felt super strong all the way through this series!       Hi Mireille...yes isn’t Friday full body a real highlight for so many of us! I find it makes such a perfect start to the weekend! I really enjoyed today’s session...I did it with my heaviest weights which are 12.5 kg! Then straight into the add on which I thought was the perfect way to round things off...lighter weights but faster moves...a perfect contrast! Hope you have a fantastic workout today! Matthew

    This is my favorite workout day from this series because you can really use heavier weights here due to how it's structured with all the compound lifts and longer rest periods

    Done with 15kg dumbbells for the shoulder presses and 20kg dumbbells for everything else! And I did end up substituting the pullovers for neutral grip pull-ups... they soon became very tough because the RDLs didn't allow my lats to recover that much!
    Didn't have time to do the add-on cardio but I might try and see if I can fit it in tomorrow for an active rest day!

    I love noticing the placement of your feet during this Iron series (in relation to the mat)
    I found it helped me take note of my feet and knees, then overall form - from sqats to bentover rows.
    This series I seemed to work my muscles moreso than just doing the reps - (mind muscle connection, I'm guessing.)
    But I've really loved grinding away, getting so much stronger.

    Love love Friday workouts. I used 2x12.5kg dumbbells for the upper body workouts and 2x17.5kg for the lower body workouts. I will definitely redo this workout and go heavier next time around. I enjoyed it. Add on 20 Minute Sweaty Dumbbell cardio. I had forgotten how tough this was, I was dripping with sweat no joke. Happy weekend to you all.
    Looking forward to Sunday and NO I am not sad the Iron series is ending, we have loads of workouts to choose from. And I am sure Caroline will be posting once in a while. 💖💖

      Did it! I thought I would struggle with the shoulder presses at 15kg for 3 rounds but remembered I’d just done 6 x 60 seconds Arnold presses at 12.5 kg in a previous workout so nailed it. Did 2 x 20 for the RDLs, could’ve have done 25kg for the pull overs but didn’t have time to switch weights so did 20 kg, and otherwise stayed with you!!! 😅

      Used to hate these! I like them now as I know how to do them correctly but I prefer to use a kettlebell for more control of the weight 🦵🏻

    One of my favourite videos Before Caroline was where we went from upper to lower so I really enjoyed this format today. After doing so many one minute reps, doesn’t 45 seconds seem short now?😀For chest press today, I nailed getting those 2x25# up in the air at once which has been the big stumbling block for me to go heavier on that exercise. No going back now! Loved doing those BW Bulgarians at the end. I think I only did 4 or 5 per side performed super slow and low, felt every second of them! No wonder I found today’s add-on a challenge…my legs were tired and I think I’m still catching up from Wednesday’s glutes day too. Now to rest and be prepared for our last Sunday in this program. Seems like yesterday we started this six-week program.

    I’ve gone up in weight on almost all of these movements thanks to the slower and more strength-focused pace of Iron! Even the smaller groups like shoulders and biceps where I haven’t gone up, I’m now capable of 12 reps instead of 6-8 on the weights I’d been using. Thanks so much for this series, I’m so happy with the progress I made. I may just repeat it when I’m done!!

    Thank you for all the wonderful workouts. I have done particularly well with this series, getting stronger. When I started two years ago, I used 3, 5, and 8 pound weights. Now I am using 15 and 20 pound weights, with 20 most of the time. I feel I am ready to go up again after this series, starting to work with 25 pounds. I requested 25 pound dumbbells for my approaching birthday. Thanks again.

    Oh My Goodness! I am grateful for you and this series. I have really pushed myself AND I can now do squats with weights!! Bulgarian are coming along with assistance\. So much for that old comfort zone.I may need to invest in more weights! My speedweight set only goes to 25 lbs. THANK YOU
