I've tried SO many sunscreens over the past 3 years, when I started consistently using SPF. Almost all made me incredibly shiny. About 6 months ago I settled on the Minimalist Invisible SPF40 as my go-to.
So yeah, I'm in this "love it, love it, love it" group. Great seeing you review Minimalist! Might want to look at their dupe of the Skinceuticals C/ferulic too, and their multipeptides

Thank you for mentioning the pilling. I use serums and lotions at night or under sunscreen. My husband doesn't and usually pilling is not a problem but he has oily skin and sometimes products get "gritty". I have bought items you have recommended and it's really helped my skincare routine over the years.

I like the Minimalist 3% Tranexamic Acid Face Serum...it's my first experience with tranexamic acid. Will look for these sunscreens next time I run out.
But what I LOVE LOVE LOVE is the Cetaphil Gentle Exfoliating SA Lotion you spoke of recently. I love the unscented smell (that buttermilk smell acids have!). I love the way my skin feels so smooth, even elbows and knees. But mostly I love that it STOPPED MY CHRONIC ITCHING. I have itched for fifteen years and tried everything. I never thought SA would help; it sounds a little harsh. Au contraire! No itching AND actually SLEPT last night! Ordering two more bottles, one for every bathroom.

I’m one of those that loves a siliconey sunscreen and have been wanting to try Frezyderm but $40 for 50ml is something I couldn’t justify. At less than half the price I’m tempted to try this. However, seeing that they put presumably a non-encapsulated retinol in their other sunscreen at an unknown concentration gives me pause on the brand as a whole. While the jury is still out on the effects of topically applied retinol exposed to UV I’d rather avoid it. It doesn’t seem like a wise decision to include it in a sunscreen and not call it out with a percentage. I’m still curious about the Frezyderm dupe though and might give it a try if they have a Black Friday sale 😅

I bought a combo pack of minimalist sunscreen , moisturizer, serum, and cleanser, and within two weeks of using them, I developed a lot of comedones that eventually turned into a breakout. Despite several visits to different dermatologists and undergoing treatments, I still ended up with acne scars. It took me a year to deal with everything, and while things are better now, this product gave me a new insecurity. I stopped taking pictures and became scared to even apply a little makeup. I strongly recommend not buying this product.
