Good resolutions.. I am going to copy that idea, but am also adding on CLASSIC. I have found old tried and true products agree with me better than some of the new viral stuff. My new favorite cleansing oil is the Up and Up fragrance free version of the Neutrogena shower oil. Very affordable and washes off well with my second cleanse neutrogena hydroboost.
I tried the Gold bond overnight with Retinol for my arms and it's amazing! I use it every night before bedtime on my arms, legs and neck and it does it's job. Happy New Year, Andrea!
I have super sensitive skin (and rosacea), and I've used it daily for weeks on end without any irritation. I would avoid putting it on broken skin, of course. If you need calluses on your feet, don't use daily for too long because your feet will be soft as a baby's! @Lilah1754
Medicube mask is my holy grail. I use it nightly. I used all my nightly steps, serums, retinol, night cream and this mask. It stays put and pillows stay clean. Rolls off easily. Skin is glowing and moist . I have very sensitive dry skin.
Hada labo cleansing oil is not discontinued! Ive been using it for the past 18 years. I agree that it has a thicker viscosity compared to alot new korean cleasing oils out there. Have always gone back to this

I have never met a peel off mask that I liked and delivered results. They all made me feel and look super dry. I prefer a sheet mask or a wash off mask
Happy New Year! Love your recommendations! Elf is great. The Holy Hydration fragrance free works amazingly well on my older skin. I use the Peach Slices 2% Salicylic on my t zone and then the elf on the rest of my face and neck. Then I come in with the Elta MD UV elements. This really keeps my skin looking plump and protected. That sunscreen has been reformulated but I bought up every tube I could find of the original. Once I got used to sunscreen as a daily year round non-negotiable, it’s easy peasy.

Dr. Dray and the peel off. EXACTLY my experience. I don't like picking at these masks. It's gross and depressing. I have tried putting them on thickly, thinly, on wet skin, on dry skin, in cold weather, in hot weather, leaving them for a short time, leaving for a long time. They never work and all that manipulation of skin seems irritating. Abib Rice Mask is AWESOME. Love it. Works as well as Laneige Cloud overnight mask but at a tiny fraction of the price. Super sealing.
I live in New Mexico and have her. Here for 2 years - originally from California. Omg, the dryness here is no joke. My husband and I were in shock at how dry our skin gets here.

Just finished a Gold Bond moisturiser and it actually seemed to make a difference with my nails. Usually my nails break and I can't grow them very long at all. My nails were actually growing. Soon after I stopped that lotion, my nails are reverting to their usual stubby selves. I assume it's the urea since that's not an ingredient I typically find in my other products.

I like both the medicube wrapping mask and the abib. I like that the medicube one dries down. I usually only apply it to my forehead, and it does peel off in one sheet. Very rarely will I do my entire face, but yeah, you have to put a LOT on to get it to peel off like that. The Abib one stays sticky and does get on my pillowcase. Convenient to wash off, but I'm not sure it does more than Vaseline would in terms of being an occlusive. That Gold Bond lotion has been my go to each day since you first recommended it years ago. There's very little retinol in it, but the urea is doing some good work.
Now I know why my skin hates the 1004 skin centella cleansing oil 😮 I bought it because of the calming centella but I even get more redness and white bumps, even by washing it off very well. The bergamot oil 😅
Yes, you need to puta thicker layer of that Medicube mask, in order to be able to peel it off in sheets. The Ingredients in this mask are better than others. If you have trouble peeling it off, just rinse it off with warm water.
Dear Dr. Dray, if you haven’t already would love to get your thoughts on the new Neutrogena collagen bank moisturizer. I have been using the non-SPF version for about a month and I’m very pleased with the visible results and the overall product.
I agree with fragrance being okay in rinse off products. Aromatherapy induced Endorphins via rinse off formulas are my favorite investment of self care.:)

I totally ❤ the Medicube peel off mask. You need to apply 3x as much as Dr. Dray did in order to get it thick enough to peel off in 1 or 2 big sheets. Works for me every time. My skin feels wonderful the next morning as it locks in all my skincare for the night! I don’t think the product by itself is moisturizing but it definitely locks in anything underneath & prevents loss of products to my sheets or pillowcases. I wonder if the Freeman peel-off masks can be left on overnight. Anybody know? Happy New Year🎉
The Freeman ones can dry you out. Like most peel off masks, the Freeman ones have polyvinyl alcohol. These Korean collagen masks are completely different. As you said, they're very moisturizing and easy to peel if you apply an adequate amount.💙
I agree, I love the collagen peel off masks as a tool to lock in my products underneath it. Lots of hydration, a great moisturizer, and if my skin is irritated, the la Roche posay cicablast - then the mask on top is 😘. In the morning my skin is so happy and glowing. It does work great if you apply it generously and sleep on your back.
Can you recommend an emollient eye cream? The one I loved PHILOSOPHY retired. It was Hope in a Tube. I’ve not found one that keeps moisture all day under my eyes with makeup on. Thanks. Love your channel
Dr Dray is not the biggest fan of eye creams. She's said multiple times you can use your favorite moisturizer. Lately, she's been a fan of the LRP cicaplast gel for her eye area.
Speaking of cleansing balms/oils and Elf. I love their cleansing balm with peptides and hyaluronic acid. Very mild scent. Glides beautifully and gets everything off. Dermtalogy sent me a sample of their cleansing oil and it sucked in comparison.
Happy New Year Dr. Dray. I want to know what you recommend Adapalene or Tretinoin for nodule types if acne. I am 42 years old snd struggling with hormonal acne. I am using Tretinoin0.5 from 3 year but still I get seve3pain breakout. Should I try Adapalene or keep on going with Tretinoin?
You totally could! I haven’t tried that one but I’ve tried others as my moisturizer and they work just the same as a moisturizer. From what I know abib is a bit thicker than others though so that might affect if you put on a moisturizer beforehand
My FAV cleansing oil is actually the KAO Biore purple one - it works even if your face is wet (which is great in the shower if your hands are damp), takes off everything but always rinses off really well, like I almost don't need to double cleanse, and I have tried many - the only thing is it is a slightly thinner formula

I have very dry wrinkly mature skin and have found putting LRP hyaluronic followed by Cetaphil cream applied thickly very good.

I just don’t care for the scent, even though Gold Bond are fragrance free. Been using Avon’s Moisture Therapy- love that it has urea.
