For those who have acne prone but sensitive skin, Urban Skin RX has an amazing Salicylic Acid and Sulfur wash that really helps with acne in a gentle way. I leave it on for a minute as a treatment because the other salicylic acid treatments caused me lots of irritation.
Your videos are so informative and fun to watch. You are one of my favorite RUclipsrs. I've learned so much from you, and I used to work with admin at a derm clinic. I would love a video about skincare layering!
I had acne for years and my Dermatologist recommended the same product. I have discovered that Dermatologist recommend products based mostly on one ingredient (salicylic acid) but the supporting ingredients may clog your pores. Panoxyl contains 2 ingredients that clog pores; Spirulina and Platensis (BlueAlgae) Extract. If you’re having issues with acne, clogged pores, blackheads, etc check the ingredients in ALL of your products because most of them including cleansers and sunscreens have at least one ingredient that is the culprit; looking at you Cereve PM. If your products say Non Comedogenic, Dermatologist Tested or Organic, check them as well. I’ve learned that organic skincare only means organic pimples. By making this simple change in your routine you will see major improvements in your skin.
Great information! When I would get monthly minor breakouts, I used PanOxyl cleanser and it was a game changer for me. I still use it but sparingly and only twice a week. It can be very drying to your skin.
Omg, this is insane… I’ve been recommending this retinol serum to all my friends, and now I see it here! 😂 I used to be so stressed about the pores around my cheeks and nose, but I saw real results after using this!!! Some by mi, you guys should be thanking me for this!

Always patch test… the Vanicream Vit C gave me an intense bad reaction (some others have noted this in reviews online), did not even put on my eyelids and they got swollen and needed to use hydrocortisone on my face to knock out the irritation which still took over a week (used ~2 days until I realized it was from it). When I first started my skin routine as a teenager, I started with the Clinique Skin System. It has always been sold as clean skincare for sensitive skin. I am very sensitive so I thought it would work out great for me. Unfortunately, was too sensitive for it. I did find some other good things though: Clinique Blended Loose Face Powder (love it to this day), Clinique All About Eyes Serum De-puffing Eye Massage and it’s most excellent. There is also Clinique Moisture Surge Eye 96 Hour Hydro-Filler Concentrate. Last but least but an honorable mention is Almost Lipstick in Black Honey.
Doc I need you to know that butt paste made such a soothing difference a month or 2 ago when good molecules terrible sunscreen burnt the hell out of my skin. I appreciate you for that rec so much
Hey Dr shereen ! Thank you for all ur effort 😍 I really struggle with finding everything in my country 🇱🇧 May I ask you if mustella diaper cream is a good choice ? Or do you have any other recommendations?
Great video and thank you for featuring products at more affordable prices. Is there a nappy cream like the one you mentioned available in the UK? I have sudocrem but it smells quite strong! Also, another request: can you list the make up brand and colours used in your look today? Your make up looks beautiful ❤
An aside: i really wish the Industry wld opt out of using those dropper bottles! I tend to knock over those tidge bottles and dribble serum from the dropper over the bathroom when i am treating areas such as hands, arms, feet and shoulders. Irritating!
I'm sorry you're having so much trouble with the dropper bottles, but I certainly hope no one listens to you and stops using them. Try putting the drops in one palm and rubbing them together if you're having trouble with the dribbles.
Can you make a video on how to determine your biggest skin problem? From watching your videos, I know skin care must be intentional and specific to problems but I feel like I can’t identify my most prominent one to address. Maybe a video with photos of discoloration vs. hyperpigmentation, etc.

10:27 is this also anti aging or? Idk why and I wish I did but I have never ever had to deal w acne. My guess is my skin has forever been like the Sahara no matter how much I drink or moisturize. Which tbh I gave up caring for many years, for may reasons. So I'm trying to play catch up w 50 around the corner. Two of my half siblings my mom's daughter and my dad's daughter both had horrible acne w awful scarring. One as a teen the other after she had kids. I figure mine will show up after menopause. 🤷♀️ I just dont have the money add in social anxiety on top of being scarred for life by drs...I'm very much on my own atm. 😅😢😊❤ Update. If Ida just waited 5 min. Got it. Will stick to retinoids rentals.

3:23 if you use petrolatum at night and only rinse your face in the morning, does the morning skincare absorb properly?
Love this video so nice watching you yesterday at Hoda & Jenna
Doc I need you to know that butt paste made such a soothing difference a month or 2 ago when good molecules terrible sunscreen burnt the hell out of my skin. I appreciate you for that rec so much
Thanks for another great video. Cheers
saint charbal in the background made me happy, God bless!
Hey Dr shereen ! Thank you for all ur effort 😍
I really struggle with finding everything in my country 🇱🇧
May I ask you if mustella diaper cream is a good choice ? Or do you have any other recommendations?
I love the haru haru!
@sballantine8127 😂 Thank you for the suggestion re using the palm as a "cup" for the serums. I already do.
Thanks for all your good educating work. Much love from Spain.
Very informative! I Love Korean Skincare Products and Thank you for the discount code. ❤
Can you make a video on how to determine your biggest skin problem? From watching your videos, I know skin care must be intentional and specific to problems but I feel like I can’t identify my most prominent one to address. Maybe a video with photos of discoloration vs. hyperpigmentation, etc.
youre an angel thank you
Thank you for your informative videos Dr Idriss! My skincare is finally giving me result yay !
I love and also love your St Charbel Makhlouf picture!!!
Can you do a video on the best fragrance free products?
Dr. Idriss could please review Cetaphil, Gentle Exfoliating SA Lotion?
Thanks!
Been using the beta glucan from iunik since the pandemic days and for my oily ass skin it has been amazing! i switch in between that one and the centella gel cream iunik depending on the dryness.
I heard you were doing Copper Peptides... Can you please do this? Pretty eye makeup! Ooo! Love the 20% Urea!
Thanks Dr. Idriss!! I always appreciate your willingness to share your info and recs with us. I was wondering, what can you do about brown rough patches on elbows and knees? I’ve tried just about everything and aside from scrubbing my skin raw I’ve not had success to smooth out the area and make it look less noticeable. Thoughts? Have a wonderful holiday season!!
Can you please make a video on la roch posey products...iam an indian living in finland and this brand is hugely popular along with others like vichy , eucerine bioderm
Thanks today was great 👍 I wondered what you're thoughts were about K beauty 😊 now I know 😉
Your RN here says: Excellent product recommendation and education Dr. Shereen. Thanks to you I have jumped on the De La Cruz sulfur mask train.
🙌❤️
I have the beauty of Joseon retinal eye cream! I love it! I'm using it more and more often so I'm looking forward to a more youthful under eyes. 😁
I find your videos so very helpful. Very practical. Thank you. I am perimenomausal with sensitive thinning skin. Could you do a video on how to support thinning skin? Also, would you be able to recommend some more internationally available products? I live in Europe.
I would appreciate a video about this as well. I just turned 51 years old and I’m a very pale woman. It seemed to happen almost overnight to the point where it’s translucent! I also have very crepey skin on my arms.
I would LOVE to know which lipstick you have on in this video! It is gorgeous on you!
Update. If Ida just waited 5 min. Got it. Will stick to retinoids rentals.
Dr. Idriss , as a 60 yr old with deep lip lines, fine eye lines, start of sagging jowls and slight rosacea which at home device would benefit me the most, Nira at home laser or an LED face mask? Been using Nira 2x day for almost 90 days and not seeing much difference. THANK you for your help ❤
Just did my first order from Dr. Idriss website, sooo excited. Can you make a video for treating acne/ spots in teen children. Makes me worried that retinol or purifying products are not suitable for such young sensitive skin. What would be the right approach?
