      Jessie, I always workout in the morning and eat a datebased protein bar in the morning (with a few pieces of broccoli and 2 tbsp of greek yog before), is that okay? the bar has around 13g protein and also around 10g sugar from the dates.. and enough fats from the nutbutter. Let me know!!! because having eggs 20 min before a workout does not work well :(

      I've read your book and love your hacks. Would you please share your thoughts on adding yogurt to a veggie starter? I love to mix two table spoons of yogurt with chopped cabbage to have before a meal. Does this reduce the impact of vegetables? Thank you.

    I started implementing these tips about 6 months ago and have been absolutely *astounded* at the results. I have been able to maintain my ideal body weight consistently, rather than constant fluctuations before, and my frequent bloating is completely GONE. Another huge bonus has been decreased inflammation in other parts of my body. I just feel so much better all the way around. It’s actually a miracle - and so easy! I really haven’t had to change WHAT I eat, just HOW I eat. Thank you, Jessie! You are changing lives 🫶

      I know she preaches vegetables first on lunch and dinner but I'm wondering why not at breakfast?

      @@unknown-ng8nh A savory breakfast (instead of a sweet one) reduces glucose spikes! Otherwise you'd be craving junk / sweet foods throughout the day.
      It's easier to eat vegetables for lunch and dinner, but eating vegetables for breakfast as well is uncommon and usually too much for people. If you want a difference source of fiber or something slightly sweet but won't raise your glucose too much, fruit works great for breakfast!

    Lovely to see your "new" channel Jesse! You are the reason that I am enjoying better health and a slim figure! Your channel was the first site that came up when I Googled weight loss plateaus over 1 year ago. My first meal is always salad and protein (eggs, cottage cheese, salmon. Lots of avocados 🥑 and olives 🫒 and artichokes in olive oil. Nice glass of pure organic 🥕 carrot juice. Salad dressing made with ACV, olive oil, Dijon mustard, tumeric and ground black pepper. Yum.
    Thank you so much for educating me on glucose spikes and insulin resistance. I lost almost 25 pounds in 9 months and I am never hungry. Many health problems gone or diminished and mood improvement as well. I don't eat any seed oils, processed foods or even some rices or rice cakes. Very occasionally a slice of good sourdough bread from the bakery and grass fed dairy and poultry, wild salmon from the butcher. I feel very good, Jesse , thank you again from a 74 yr old.❤

    Start with vegetables, continue with protein and fats, and complete your meal with carbs. Sounds like a good advice. I will try!

      I raised 184k and Anna Kathleen Sanford is to be thanked. I got my self my dream car 🚗 just last weekend, My journey with her started after my best friend came back from New York and saw me suffering in dept then told me about her and how to change my life through her. Anna K. Sanford is the kind of person one needs in his or her life! I got a home, a good wife, and a beautiful daughter. Note!:: this is not a promotion but me trying to make a point that no matter what happens, always have faith and keep living!!

    She's so fun to watch. I really do, however, recommend working with an MD or medical professional if you have serious glucose questions.

    • @TerrieF-e5j
      @TerrieF-e5j 10 дней назад

      MDs do not take nutrition courses during their college years! They almost always
      resort to medication. Eating habits have everything to do with your health

    • @sarahsawyer
      @sarahsawyer 9 дней назад +1

      @@TerrieF-e5j that's not been my experience at all with Type 2 or with GLP1 treatment. They've been great. Maybe I'm lucky. There are other medical professionals who do work with nutrition and generally I'd trust them over an influencer any day. I do like her recipes--I just don't think she's the most sound resource for medical information.

    I must be a glutenous pig cause I don't understand this.....
    if I eat veggies separately from protein and carbs, and protein without carbs - how do I enjoy the meal? 😂
    I enjoy the combination of textures and tastes and fish without mashed potatoes and tomatoes - it makes potatoes in the end useless.
    I understand the concept and if that works for you? I'm happy for you. I'd rather never eat any carbs than eat them separately without my meal.

    I’ve been eating this way for years, and from my intuition. Fiber w each meal and savory breakfast. Flat whites w whole milk works for me.

    Question about the order of eating fiber, fats, protein.. so that it coats your intestines - I thought food remains in the stomach for awhile before it gets released into the intestine. Would it all mix together anyway before entering the duodenum?

    • @ts7371
      @ts7371 День назад +1

      Exactly what I thought. Wouldn’t it just be a big mush in the stomach anyway, so what is the point of a sequence?

    Ne pas oubliez d'éviter tout contenant à utilisation unique, à savoir les gobelets jetables ici dans la vidéo. On peut soit avoir son propre gobelet réutilisable ou prendre le temps de s'asseoir et déguster son café dans une tasse en céramique. La planète a aussi que l'on prenne soin d'elle.

    I tried 1 table spoon of organic apple cider vinegare before every lunch for a month. I've lost some weight indeed❤❤❤ and felt incredibly good, but strangely it hurted my stomach and caused eczema on my face even if my diet was healthy so I was obliged to stop it and my rash and stomack pain are much better....😢what a pity this vinegar made me wear taille size 38 again in my trousers again after being 42 for more than a decade...I wonder why does it hurted my skin and stomack ?
