@@mad_titanthanos It was written in purely for cheap 'shock' value... which, given the calibur of writer Marvel are hiring these days, really shouldn't come as a surprise.
@@PeteTheGrouch The Loki series is highly rated, both critically and by the audience, for everything from soundtrack to visual effects to the characters and the depth of character relationships you couldn't really fully pursue in the 2 hour single-film format, to the acting to the writing. Even people who were hating on the idea of a Loki series like it was a cash-grab on a beloved character have been eating their words and admitting they were wrong, and that this series is one of the best things Marvel has put out, especially of late. Loki has been elevated, in terms of his character depth, to a level far beyond anything we've seen before. And beyond that, the MCU is moving from universal threats like Thanos to multi-versal threats like Kang: that is why the infinity stones were shown in their deactivated state outside their home universes. The first 'impossible' feat is setting up a new villain after having finished a story with an ultimate villain, Thanos, that it took years to set up: they did that, considering how well Kang/He Who Remains/ etc. was received. And they have also taken their MCU fully into the most insane territory explored in the comics, parallel alternative versions of every hero, multiversal threats, etc. stuff that makes talking racoons and aliens and sorcerers all seem normal, just everyday stuff, nothing strange at all-- a second impossible feat; something nobody thought could possibly be done in live action cinema and television: but they've done it. Your little quip was written for shock value, ironically enough, because you're a little grift trying to be edgy by attempting to rebuke a highly rated series with basically nothing for criticism. You're a waste of words. I'm all for criticism but I doubt you have any valid criticism of the series.
Real life history has proven that multiple times -- even when multiple smaller groups are enemies with each other, if a bigger threat comes along and threatens them all, then the former enemies join hands to bring down the common enemy. That's where "An enemy of my enemy is my friend" comes from.
Damn you can see it in Tony’s eyes just “I’m not surviving this.” He knows full well that the end of line is coming and thanos is going to be the one who brings it.

Strange was right. The time stone wasn't just their best chance of beating Thanos, it was their only chance. Not by keeping it from him, but by giving it to him willingly. And Thanos was so obsessed with his goal that he never asked why Strange just gave it up, never suspected anything or said to himself, "This is too easy." Of course, there's no way Thanos could've known that Strange had already seen the endgame.
What's amazing is that the avengers lost on both fronts Thanos transported 2 place in 1, and the fact that Tony's ptsd came back after losing to Thanos and also back at homecoming, "and if you die, I feel that's on me" and well all those 2 factors killed Tony inside knowing that he'll never be the same
People complain about Banner "being just comic relief" in Endgame, but I think he's going through stuff. He is terrified to the point of being broken in Infinity War, and after the snap I believe he built this cheery overconfident persona we see in endgame as a mean of survival from his demons
Tony: "I don't want to join your super secret boyband" Bruce: "Broke up? like- like a band? like The Beetles?" Andrew : is that a band ? Are you in a band ?
Tony’s head turn towards Bruce once he said that Thanos sent Loki on the attack in New York was just the beginning on that build up. He had visions, nightmares and panic attacks about something like this happening for 6 years and now it’s becoming a reality. That’s how you know the line “This is it.” hit very hard. He knew he wasn’t making it out if this invasion alive.
@@music_and_other_random_thi1330 seemed like Peter knew beforehand that something was wrong and he was turning to dust. Might’ve been his spider senses. Tony had to live with the guilt for 5 years in not being able to protect him even though it wasn’t his fault.
And also, Ross is unreasonable. He refused to believe Tony when he was told that Zemo was the real culprit. What makes others think that he would listen that Thanos is dangerous. Ross's actions show that he easily undermines an even dangerous threat in his universe. So I do not trust Ross is simply going to leave the Avengers alone even after he was resurrected with the other half in the universe and the Avengers defeated Thanos.
I think Ross feels responsible for the whole Hulk experiment plus has a vendetta against heros. Plus, the fact that a human like Zemo beat the avengers compared to him probably makes him furious.
@UCw73nuXym0Gn96vBm0LhDTA Ross is an idiot and always has been. No idea how he even becomes a General. Always chasing after the wrong people and oblivious to everything that's happening around him.
Contrast Ross with Talbot. When Talbot hear about Thanos in Agents of SHIELD, the first thing he said is that he had to help the Avengers fighting him.
When Bruce says “Thors gone”you can see the sorrow in his eyes. he knows how powerful Thor is but you can tell what hurts him is losing a friend, a brother. He thought he’d lost everything and gave into his rage, then Thor found him, brought Bruce back and eventually home.
3:11 Bruce is absolutely right, it doesn't matter who you're talking to or not, I'll bet Tony is thinking "WHY COULDN'T THANOS COME BEFORE OUR FIGHT IN GERMANY?"
0:52 You can hear Tony say “This is it”. After New York, this was what Tony fearing and always been preparing for. He wanted a suit of armour around the world. But no one really had the brain large enough to understand this threat.
he tried making “a suit of armour around the world” and in doing so, indirectly destroyed sokovia and then the avengers (by creating need for the sokovia accords) and that led to thanos’ victory. if thor iron man, wanda, vision and strange fought united thanos would’ve stood no chance
@@mechanomics2649very case of “collateral damage” that ross showed the avengers was in no way their fault and would’ve been much worse if not for the avengers’ intervention (ie battle of new york, hydra attempt to take over the world) BESIDES the events in sokovia (which tony directly caused) …hence the name. also if you pay attention even cap and tony’s final conflict happens cuz of zemo (a man who lost his family in sokovia because of ultron). the only other thing is the lagos incident, which is in some way wandas fault, but guess whos weapons killed her family making her turn to HYDRA…. 😂😂😂😂
@Tom Idris Wanda pretty much created Ultron when she manipulated Tony in the beginning of age of ultron because Tony wasn't even considering it until wanda showed him his fear. She even said she knew it would control him and later on she admitted it was her fault.
I also appreciate the brilliance of Robert Downey Jr.'s acting in this scene, because you can see in his heart of hearts he's absolutely _terrified_ and struggling on the outside to look calm and clever, and just "think" his way out of it like he does with all of his other problems. You're seeing a man having to confront his own weakness. When we see him post Thanos round 1, he's almost given up all hope. "Can't think your way out of everything Tony, sometimes it's just a slog and there's no guarantee any of it will even be worth it in the end. Maybe you just fail, that's part of some stories too." That's what's going through his mind when he asks "...what's his name again...". You can hear that waver in his voice as he struggles to stay in the moment and not in his own head.
I love Bruce’s bewildering reaction that that a fight between Tony and Steve is gonna prevent them from preparing for thanos. He looked like he wanted to slap Tony for being so petty.
Especially because we didn't see him get picked up yet by GotG. We just saw The Children of Thanos knock down repeatedly, and next thing we know, his ship blew up around him.
This was the best MCU movie. It just had perfect pacing, there was this sense of tension and dread that carried through ever moment of the film. They cashed in on the 10 years of set-up perfectly.

@@MrSprigg But Thor appeared on EARTH 🌎 and in Wakanda Captain America, Black widow, Banner didn't know about it, you can see the surprised in their faces, when they saw him, they thought he was dead, Tony was also surprised when Starlord mentions Thor, and he asked when did he saw him, he basically told Stark that they just saw him and that yes he was alive , you knew Tony truly believed that Thor was dead, but Tony found out about it on ship in another planet with no way at that point to tell Banner that Thor was alive, so the Avengers that were on earth didn't know that Thor was alive.

"The end of the path I started as on." When Tony heard that Thanos was the one that sent Loki and connected all the dots in his head, he knew that this was the final battle and everything was building up to this moment. He remembered his vision from AoU and that everyone was a candidate for death.

This may be off topic but I see you play db legends as well.
A man of culture.
When Bruce said that Thor's gone. Tony looked as if he was saying, ' All this while when we (Avengers) are fighting among ourselves and so caught up in our own beliefs, we never stopped to think where Thor was or whether he was in need of help. Now he's gone'. Unknown to Tony, Thor survived.
Thor said at the end of AoU that he was going to sort out what's happening out there and who's manipulating the previous events on earth and Asgard. Bruce meant Thor is dead. Which was a blow too strong.

@@MFRiley yes he did lmao kang is he who remains variant yk its just when he who remains died he lost control and kang took over
bruh, plz, don't mention that trashly written show in the same breath as _proper_ Avengers.
Come to think of it, they should've avoided showing the stones as paper weights. It just reduces the entire significance of their presence in the Infinity Saga of how much weight age they had in the events and how Tony and Thanos (almost) died using them.
Funny how Thanos ended up reuniting the Avengers once more by becoming their common enemy
Real life history has proven that multiple times -- even when multiple smaller groups are enemies with each other, if a bigger threat comes along and threatens them all, then the former enemies join hands to bring down the common enemy. That's where "An enemy of my enemy is my friend" comes from.

¨like a band? .. like the beatles?¨ .. ahaaahaaahahaaha
People complain about Banner "being just comic relief" in Endgame, but I think he's going through stuff. He is terrified to the point of being broken in Infinity War, and after the snap I believe he built this cheery overconfident persona we see in endgame as a mean of survival from his demons
Definitely
i'm glad that they have the beatles in their world
The way Tony whispers "this is it" with the Thanos brass theme playing under it always gets me
Tony: "I don't want to join your super secret boyband"
Bruce: "Broke up? like- like a band? like The Beetles?"
Andrew : is that a band ? Are you in a band ?
Tony’s head turn towards Bruce once he said that Thanos sent Loki on the attack in New York was just the beginning on that build up. He had visions, nightmares and panic attacks about something like this happening for 6 years and now it’s becoming a reality. That’s how you know the line “This is it.” hit very hard. He knew he wasn’t making it out if this invasion alive.
This mentality makes the post-snap scene after Peter died even sadder, you see Tony look at his hands expecting to be next, but he survives anyways.

When Bruce says “Thors gone”you can see the sorrow in his eyes. he knows how powerful Thor is but you can tell what hurts him is losing a friend, a brother. He thought he’d lost everything and gave into his rage, then Thor found him, brought Bruce back and eventually home.
I loved Strange's reaction when Stark said "Probably Steve Rogers". He was so done with the conversation.
It's not that. It's more that he knows the situation between Rogers and Stark.

Ego vs ego arguments is legendary in any scale
