Santa brought Squawkers to my daughter for Christmas about 14 years ago. I want to "re-wrap" it and give it to her again this year 😂. I put new batteries in the remote and the bird, but it doesn't seem to be working. I believe it worked when i packed it away. (It was not stored with any batteries in it). Do you have any troubleshooting ideas?

I’ve done a few videos on my channel discussing the potentiometer and servo hack
It’s pretty much the same no matter the animatronic
I already showed the gearing in this video pretty much
The code is done with director made by fright ideas
It’s pretty basic As far as code
