Adam Savage Meets Nerdforge's Martina and Hansi: ruclips.net/video/iUgHy4yIQQw/видео.html
Hei Martina og Hansi 🇳🇴
He needs to see the video about the Wheel of Time book they did.
Make a project with them it would be so cool
Adam, we need a collab project with Nerdforge! Something huge! ^^ Pretty please!
Adam, I need to see this shaving brush sculpture! Where is a photo of it?
Was awesome being there and taking inspiration from your workshop and all the stuff in it! 😍Shout out to Studson Studio (as we mentioned off-cam), he has amazing tips on how to use trash and greebles to make insanely cool models! ruclips.net/user/StudsonStudio ✨
Not one, but two videos with Adam, and this one released on his birthday (HBD Adam). It's great seeing him so excited about the glove, and then the book nook and the X-Box reveal. Keep it up!
Studson studios is so amazing! Great shoutout
was so cool to see this cross-over of MB & NF...amazing
So awesome and inspiring to see all of you guys together!😍
Fantastic Norwegian ambassadors🙌
Best compliment ever to be called "mad people" by Adam! 😎✨
Love Studson Studios... and love Nerdforge! By the way, I recommend checking out BMSculptures for some amazing deep resin pour techniques and finished pieces.
Adam needs to take a trip to them now!
I was just thinking the same thing.
Return the favor!
When he does, I'm pretty sure I'll be able to hear him when he enters their vault for the first time... 😉
I agree 👍
he won't
Adam's compliment about the steampunk aesthetic is so spot on. It irks me a lot that so many people nowadays just stick a bunch of gears on something and call it steampunk.
same. its not my vibe but some are into it.
Horseshoes > gears
@@LordDragox412 Greetings fellow acolyte of the horse centipede!
some guys made a song about this phenomenon oon yt
@@senfdame528Reginald Pikedevant. "Just Glue Some Gears on it and Call it Steampunk" is the song title.
The barely contained "We're meeting one of our childhood heroes" from Martina & Hansi is wonderful!
And so is Adam's matched energy and interest in their creations!
@@jasper265 Yes!
I grew up watching Adam savage on mythbusters. I would shortcircuit if i met Adam like this. They did wonderfully.
It's adorable
Seeing Adam nerd out over Nerdforge makes me so happy.
If Adam could visit their shop, he'd lose his damn mind when he saw Martina's painting projects. I love seeing talented people appreciating each other's work as peers. He's not over them, he genuinely shows himself as a peer maker, and a fan of their work.
can you imagine him seeing the robot?
Oh yeah, the different themed rooms they've made and some of the gaint projects they've done is super impressive, down to the details and just size. I would love to see a person like Adam comment on them.
@@eugenio5774Or Martina's PC that can ALSO brew coffee?! 😂❤
I am pretty sure Adam already knows😊
It would be cool if it were like that in other creative spectrums. I'm a graphic designer. Self taught, and a lot of time designers that studied feel the need to act above myself and my other peers. As if 20 years of proven work doesn't speak enough for itself and you act all high and mighty after 2 years of real world work experience, just because you studied for 4 years. There's a lot of jealousy and competition in the creative space, and I'm glad Adam is not like that. I aspire to be like that. Pass on the passion, the knowledge and joy.
What Adam is really saying about the Steampunk Tower is: "I am so appreciative that there's not a single damn cog or sprocket glued to this thing in the middle of nowhere, not connected to anything." Craft store bags of clockwork pieces glued to surfaces does not a steampunk anything make.
It's one of the cardinal rules of steampunk. The described technology needs to have logical sense and at least be THEORETICALLY functional. It's not just cosmetics. Steampunk is an offshoot of science fiction. The date may have changed bu it still must retain the "science."
To be clear, gears can be used as aesthetic pieces, but there needs to be and underlying sense of functionality to the whole. A baseball cap spray painted black with 30 gears glued to it isn't steampunk. But a Homburg with a gear as the central part of the bow and other metal elements for the loops and weathering to imply riding goggles had adorned them in the past is even if the gear isn't implied to be mechanically used because the piece as a whole is made to have a place in the environment.
@@Merennulli EXACTLY. Form should follow function even in fictional designs.
@@hraefn1821 Unless it's supposed to be Magitek, but even so, Magitek items still tend to look like they were designed and assembled, not mashed together with glue into some kind of watch part katamari.
@@thoughtengine Nonsensical designs take the viewer out of the story while logical designs enforce the story.
Okay, I just about lost my mind when Martina and Hansi appeared on Tested showcasing Martina's aesthetic prosthetic, but this is a whole other level of cathartic.
Now we *need* a collab.
I can only begin to dream of the craziness the three of you could create together! 3 of the most talented artificers of our era - please do a collab. I'm *begging*.
@tested Please make this happen...
I agree 👍😃
@tested - PLEASE! Pretty please, with sugar on top!
Maybe a Steampunk Spacesuit?
YES PLEASE 🙏 😍 ❤
I love to see Nerdforge getting some GAWD DAMN recognition!! It's a shame that Martina's genuinely beautiful visuals artistry couldn't be shown due to space limitations. She is an amazing painter. Her work with depth and color is insane and that's with the textual dimension being absent on video!
I would say the brief before and after images of the XBox case SCREAM about her artistic ability. To see those vibrant and varied colours on all the "trash" and then to see the final product boggles my non-artistic brain.
Or the giant rug

Can we please normalise Adam’s level of excitement, kindness, respect and geekery? I just want more people in the world like him.
This is why I admire geeks, nerds, whatever you want to call them. Most have such a fun and frivolous passion for creativity. I'm in my 70s and this kind of "new thing" is so refreshing. More please.
One of the best things about internet honestly, you can always find people to gush about whatever niche hobby you’re into.
So good to see small channels being given exposure like this. Hats off to Nerd-forge for supporting smaller creators❤️
Lol! I wanted this to be true.
@@outlanderfrog it kind of is nerd forge gets way more views per video Adams reputation just still is beyond just youtube.
@@zachmoyer1849 yep, nerdforge may be a more successful channel, but I’ve been to villages in India who know what Mythbusters is
This literally made me cry.. Two of my favorite channels coming together, two amazing maker channels sharing a passion and love and adoration for one another. Something I never thought I would see. This just made my heart so freaking happy. Thank you Martina, Hansi and Adam!!
I just love how excited Adam gets when talking to other creators, his enjoyment and happiness in talking to them and learning new things! No competitiveness, no critique, just simple joy in the fact that others make neat things and wanting to share that with everyone.
It was so wholesome to watch, three excited people talking about those amazing pieces of art (can't say anything less) but NOT A WORD ABOUT MARTINA'S PINKY FINGER!!! It's the coolest thing
Having one of the most respected propmasters in the world gush over their work like that must have been such a great experience.
Truly my 2 favorite crafting channels. I truly hope you do a collab while you're all together.
What a great day for Adam to have such esteemed creators grace his workshop.
It truly was.
13:00 best sentence ever! "This is the most trusting the process I've ever done."
when makers come together it's a so obvious. there's almost an audible sigh of relaxation in the terminology they can use in their convasation.
martina is a very skilled maker/artist and being in the presence of adam does not go unnoticed with her. love to see the respect.
This is bloody brilliant. Two of my favourite maker channels gushing together makes my little nerd heart SO HAPPY.
🤓❤️😊
This makes me a little proud of being Norwegian for some reason XD
Watching Adam Savage being so excited about things that Nerdforge made is so exciting!
I'm guessing you mean "excited" and "exciting"?
@@nikkiofthevalley Oh damn it, yes I did! 😅
Thank you for pointing it out without being an ass about it!
Should be fixed now, thanks again!
I LOVE this. Two generations of creators/builders just geeking out on each others creations, knowledge, skills, everything. This is just genuinely so amazing to see the excitement from every side.
I could only imagine what it feels like to have Adam Savage say he looked to one of your projects as inspiration for something he was doing.
I would LOVE to see Adam go to their workshop for a tour and maybe a collaboration build!
I love the detail and creativeness that Martina and Hansi put into all their work. I also love that if things go wrong, they invariably tell us and explain how they have either started again or found a way to fix it. Between them they make a fantastic pairing.
Two of my favorite people, Adam and Martina, two fantastic makers! Oh, yeah, and Hans too……
I love when people inspire others. It's so fun to watch Adam geek out over something despite being in the making space for so long.
It's wonderful to see these creative minds together
Two of my favorite makers (counting NerdForge as one) together is fantastic. I truly love both and it is a real pleasure to see you interact with each other. I’d love to see some collaboration between you on a project or two, acknowledging that there is a geographic challenge.
Martina and Hansi are a class act.
Super wholesome and they have a complimentary skill set which is always fun to see.
Every time they post, i go back watch more of their older videos.
Yay! I was really hoping Nerdforge would be able to display some other things they have created over the years aside from Martina’s handmade pinky prosthetic glove. Definitely time for Adam to take a trip to their creative castle now.
Artists supporting one another, totally awesome and heartwarming …. The creativity and the originality under that roof was off the roof to Mars and back to the garage. ❤️❤️❤️💓💓💓
The resin sculpture that Adam refers to is called Bluebeard's Wife by Arman from 1969.
nice
thankyou
how did you find it, i literally typed all the words he said and it didn't work lol
@@wangamanga2128 haha I did the same thing and it popped right up
@@wangamanga2128 I was also trying different things, 1920 put me way off though, in the end what got me the result was "artwork mannequin filled with shaving brushes in resin" without the quotationmarks
This is absolutely one of my favorite collaborations on RUclips.
It has seriously brought me so much joy to see two of my favorite creative channels getting the chance to interact like this❤
seeing you lot togather makes me happy 🥰
Yeah, this is pretty great.
Adam Savage and Nerdforge, the one colab i always wanted, but never thought i would see, my 3 heros right there together on screen!!
I love how amused and thrilled adam is to meet them and listen to what they’ve done. Good colab! Should absolutely do more together!
Thank you Adam for introducing me to these 2 amazing people. I've been binging on their videos for hours. You deffo need to go to Norway 🇳🇴 and collab with them.
I loved seeing nerdforge on here, now it's time for Jazza and Tabletop Time to show off some of their cool stuff to Adam too!
I love it when two groups of amazing artists come together and geek out. Both are legends and the mutual love and respect was wonderful to watch.
It is wonderful to see Adam get excited to see people who I know have been inspired by him. It's the perfect circle of makers inspiring makers.
Kudos to the nerdforge crew you have grown your channel and skill so much. Keep up the amazing work !!
I could watch a 10 hour video of these two channels just showing off their projects to one another 😊
I love Martina and Hansi, plus I love Adam. How cool to see them all nerd out together for our entertainment.
I think an initial symbol is often called a monogram. Surprised Adam hadn't seen it before, it's on almost every version of Tolkien's books.
If you’re feeling pedantic a monogram is a design in which the letters share parts/are fully connected and a cypher is one where they aren’t. If you aren’t feeling pedantic then it truly doesn’t matter which one you use 😂.
I was startled by that as well. Maybe he was asking for the benefit of viewers who didn't know?
@@HappyMonkeyYTmaybe he just genuinely didn’t know either. A misplaced file in the memory banks or something.
@@dubbingsync Indeed. Happens to the best of us.
@@dubbingsync Indeed. I thought about mentioning that, and the Haunted Mansion comment, but then I remembered that Adam has probably forgotten more facts about more things then I've ever known.
Ahhh I'm so jealous of Adam! I'm so happy you guys came together for this. It's wonderful to see such great creators bouncing ideas of of each other! And its comforting to know that trusting the process is the same no matter what.
Great to see the introduction of the people from these two channels. Nerdforge does so much cool stuff, and no matter what Martina tackles she seems to be pull it off. They could easily become the Weta Workshop of Scandinavia
Incredible, fantastic pieces! I remember watching the Xbox build. It's great seeing artists/builders sharing their methods on this scale. Thank you, Tested and Nerdforge! Great stuff!
Please, make a series of visiting each other and building things, creating stuff...it's like two favourite worlds collide into one ❤ love all of you ❤
2 of my favorite therapeutic channels together at last. thankyou to all of you for the joy you bring with your creations.
Thnx Adam and team.. lovely to see Martina and Hansi on the channel.. love these kind of vids you make. Nedforge is one of my favorite shows on YT.
Nerdforge folks are wonderful artists. I love their book binding works.
I love that you love one another's work. This is just pure fun! Thank you.
I love you Adam... you are such an amazing inspiration, Thank you for the time you put into this videos. I learn so much from you.
100% the best collab I never knew I needed. I could just sit in a corner and watch these absolute nerds yell at each other for hours. I love the XBox shell, it looks like a steampunk proton pack from a 19th-century GB!
The fact that Adam is geeking out but still has the sense to ask before doing things is why we love this man.
It makes me so happy to see you both getting to show your stuff off in person to Adam. Love you all xx
What a great episode. I hope Adam gets together with Martina and Hansi on a project someday because what ever it would be it would be epic.
This video is just a joy! Wonderful seeing you all together - these are literally my two favourite channels! And Adam your enthusiasm for others work never fails to inspire and motivate me!
Love seeing all of you sharing ideas and showing what you came up with 😊
incredible work and incredible people, thank you for having them on Adam. loved this show!
WOW! So proud of Martina and Hansi!!! Nerdforge is one of my top 5 favorite RUclips channels!!!! 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
When Nerdforge first show cased the resin diaroama cubes - I believe it was done by or collabbed with the maker My Story Box - I reached out ot them and commissioned my own version, custom made with my favorite character from my favorite books (Death from Discworld) - it's stunning and I love it - so happy to see that popup in the Cave!
The three of you are wonderful people. This was a ridiculously fun collaboration. Hope there is mor to come.
So glad they got to show off their stuff to Adam. The first video wasn't enough for a collab!
I am actually surprised that the glove was never shown, because that is also a masterpiece on it's own!
They even made her finger prosthetic!! If anyone in the comments hasn't seen the video about that process it's a fascinating watch :D
The amount of happiness in this video is amazing. I need to surround myself with these types of people.
happy birthday Adam Savage i hope you are blessed with a great fun an creative year
I loved watching the NF builds and I love watching them share with Adam, who has such a gleeful appreciation of the work that was done.
Ok, so another project for your list: an acrylic sided box to contain the lego house so dusting is not longer so hard.
A terrarium!
The ultimate kraggling.
I love Nerdforge! So cool to see them on tested. They really do amazing work
The nerd-out-alarm is REAL! 😂😂😂
But it's so cool that Adam does showcases for other makers and gets them known to a broader audience. 😎🤘
I love that three awesome creators come together and admire and learn from each other. I have enjoyed watching Adam from his days on Mythbusters. He was always so fun and I learned a lot from that show. I have been following Nerdforge for a long time and what they can do is very impressive. Their knowledge and skills is awe inspiring. I am feeling out that they have come together like this more than once . It is very nice to see.
Their energy is so contagious!
I love that part when Adan takes the glasses off his head.. something that reminds me that you are old.. but always a little boy 😁
These two are so freaking amazingly talented and creative. Truly inspirational to even maker-wannabees like me. Seeing Adam's reactions to these examples (Steampunk X-Box) of their work is so enjoyable.
Adam Savage gives off such wonderful Fun Uncle energy. Maybe he can go to Norway for a future video!
Love seeing how happy Adam gets when nerdforged is over, I really hope to see them collaborate on a project sometime, so much genius to learn from and spread around, it would be amazing to see what you all could produce
0:03 Adam sounded so excited omg
I’m so glad that Adam is geeking out over the same stuff that I do!!!
Love these collab videos!!!
❤️❤️❤️👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Great to see all three of you for another video. Both very inspirational channels. Thank you.
Hi Adam sweetie, Martina, Hansi & team are more than amazing and that is why I love them so much!!!! I've been a huge fan of you and now also of Nerdfore since a while.
Keep going, honeybuns!!! Lots of love and warm hugs from an old rebel-Pinkie

Fantastic to see a revisit these projects, this time with Adam’s enthusiastic participation. I agree that a trip to Norway by Adam would produce some great commentary on the larger projects. Thanks to all.
10:00 hey guys, just want to say how much this RESINates with me…great job.

lol, they jive so well together. It's so great watching three very artistic people enthusiastically discussing their experiences and projects!
Loving this! Great to see you all together!
I love seeing creative nerds nerding out about each other’s creations and complimenting each other on their techniques. The community gets inspired in positive ways that sets the path for growth.

I love watching Adam gush over how amazingly cool all of Martina and Hansi's creations are - the best compliments you can get are from other professionals in your field.
