One thing I used to do was that I would record myself clapping one time, and then record a response randomly of what I wanted him to say, and so every time I would make a sound like putting something down near him he would say that response and you wouldn’t even have to repeat anything so it would sound like he was saying a repeated response over and over again without you knowing or even needing to do anything. It was so realistic.
A girl I know took a Squawker into the grocery store and spun ppl out as this toy looks real, she told the story at the food bank truck day with the parrot@@Silvolf

One of my friends laughed and I and it unlocked a memory of this guy. I had him as a kid, his foot broke and my parents wanted to throw it away, i actually yelled at them multiple times crying 'cause I didn't want them to xDc they did end up throwing him away, after years of battling with me. I'm still mad at them. u-u
Ours has sat for 10 years without batteries.....just tried to play with him and he remembers some things he must have been taught in 2013... So 9 years. Seems unpredictable and doesn't dance when the music plays. Hey ho. Wish I knew where the instructions were.
I remember I used to have one, though unfortunately it stopped working back in 2016 and I was never able to replace the batteries since underneath the battery cover is some weird unremovable plastic thing that stops you from removing the batteries.
You actually just need a screwdriver and then the batteries are in a block you can pull out, I almost thought it was permanently in there too but its not

it's no big deal if you accidentally say a bad word in record mode because you erase recordings when you slide the power switch to demo mode then to play mode
I would actually find it hilarious if you started doing the Squawk Walk when he does it. I am not sure who walkers is voiced by, because I'm pretty sure he's voiced by an actual dude.
I recently received this from my dad and I want to change some of the prerecorded sayings my dad entered. I don't have the instructions. I've tried the reset, but the phrases are still there. Any advice?
Squawkers is AWESOME! He seems to know a lot of words... and he can sing too! Is that the only song he can sing or is he able to sing more songs than that?
@@Silvolf Cool! And Squawkers' personality sorta reminds me of Paco the parrot from an old PBS Kids show I used to watch called "Maya and Miguel". In the show, Paco was billingual (he spoke both English AND Spanish), and he could do a lot of things (he even could play piano while Maya was singing in one episode!)
@@Silvolf Possibly! Maya and Miguel ran from 2004 to 2007 and Squawkers came out around 2006, so I guess it sorta has a bit of a connection. But that's just my theory!

This one came out in 2007 I think or around then, I never had any either since the mechanics were kinda noisy for such realistic robots.

I think to wipe his sayings you have to move the switch to demo mode and then move it back.
